The Vratix had made a point to learn whatever she could about her new apprentice. A Kiffar, originally from Kiffex, joined the Order at age seven. That was unusual for the new Order that Rey Skywalker had created, but not unheard of. She had spoken with the boy's previous instructors and his family. He was a promising duelist, probably already matching her own skills or even possibly exceeding them. But he lacked discipline in the Force. Perhaps that was why the Council had considered him a good match for her. Izel devoted much of her time to her meditations and had been rewarded with a profound connection to the Force. She looked forward to impressing those skills upon her student. She had thought things over quite thoroughly over the past few weeks. She already prepared an extensive training regimen for the boy. When she had shown her notes to her own former master he simply laughed and shook his head, telling her not to bother with such things. He encouraged her to get to know the Padawan before deciding what method of training would be best. Perhaps that was true, but then Master Reev had never taken her training too seriously at all.
Feeling the time drag on the insectoid began to pace about restlessly. Where was he? The more she thought she started to become worried, mind jumping to the worst conclusions. She never even considered that he may have simply been given the wrong meeting location or time.
