Personality
Mav is a true space cowboy. His one true love is for adventure and new unexplored roads. The excitement of battle is as necessary to his body as water. He loves his wife and children, of course, and when he find his way back to their corner of the galaxy he greatly enjoys his time with them. But it's never very long before he's setting off on his own once more. The road always inevitably pulls him back out there, no matter the pleas of his family to stay.
Skills
Being a mandalorian, Mav's training has been extensive in all areas. His greatest talents lie in shooting and piloting, with explosives close behind. Blasters are his go to weapons, no matter the range he's fighting at. He's quick on the draw and ambidextrous to boot. His strong arms and shoulders are well suited to carrying the extra weight, too, when entering the battle field. His fingers are fast and he's intimately familiar with all common forms of explosive materials, so setting timed or large detonators are no trouble for him at all.
Piloting became a special hobby of his at a young age. Getting away from his homeworld and racing among the stars, seeing all the sights there were to see, fascinated him when he was just a boy. He never wanted anything more than the chance to fly. So when he got the opportunity, he never let it go. He trained and trained during all his spare time to ensure his excellence as a starfighter and pilot overall.
Mav's abilities in melee and hand to hand combat are well above average, but again they aren't his preferred methods of dealing with enemies. He's got decent slicing capabilities, but more complex hacks or other such tasks would be beyond his knowledge. Medical skills are not his forte either, but he does well enough to keep himself alive until he's able to get to an actual med bay.

Strength: Broad shoulders and a large, sturdy frame lend well to Mav's strength. He is powerfully built and strong as a bull. His muscles are toned perfectly and his arms and legs show controlled power.
Constitution: Mav has never been sickly and due to the fair amount of physical activity he gets on a regular basis, he is in perfect health. He rarely gets sick and his endurance in battle is average, though if something quite important is at stake he often is able to find reserves within him to keep on going.
Dexterity: Strength is his strong suit, but agility does not escape Mav's notice. His hands are quick and he can move fast when needed.
Intelligence: Not particularly book smart, Mav is still fairly intelligent. He catches on quickly to new concepts and remembers most anything he's told. He doesn't see the use in school learning, and so may seem dimwitted or stupid to more learned or worldly people.
Wisdom: Most of the time, Mav just does what he's told. He has an overwhelming lust for the open road and new adventures, which often overrides his responsibilities as a husband and father. In combat he can make on the spot decisions well and instinctual. Many would call him reckless and headstrong, however, and he tends to trust too easily.
Charisma: One saving grace, Mav is friendly and has game. He's just the right mixture of sweet, handsome, adventurous, and spontaneous to befriend most of the people he comes in contact with. He knows people all over the galaxy that would do him a favor if he happened to be in their neighborhood and asked. He's used to sharing deep secrets and exciting times with perfect strangers.

Born on Mandalore, Mav is a typical citizen of his planet. He loves shooting blasters, chasing adventure, and adding to his collection of toys. He was born to a happy family with several siblings. His father was a mercenary who taught all the kids how to shoot and blow things up at young ages. Mav was always happy with his family, even though his dad was off working more often than not. He and his siblings all loved to play war with each other and explore the forest and fields surrounding their home.
When he was only 14 years old, Mav's father was killed in combat. The loss was extremely difficult for the teen, though he hid it from his family members. He felt that he needed to be strong for the women in the group and he knew that at least his dad had died doing what he loved more than anything. That seemed like a good thing, even though he was still struggling with the loss.
The eldest brother and sister of the family both left shortly after to enter the family trade themselves. With the loss of their father's income, they needed to start working to bring in money for their mother and their younger brothers and sisters. They were already old enough to go on their own, but Mav felt strongly that he should have gone as well. He was convinced to stay to help his mother care for the others, but from then on the itch to go out and start working as a mercenary never left his head.
When he was 17, the next sibling under him was 14 and so he decided that it was okay for him to leave. He said good bye to his family and went out to find his own adventures and fortune for himself and his family. He had never loved anything more. Battle was hard at first, but he proved to be a natural at it. He still found his way home to Mandalore every now and then, and on one of these occasions he met Dala. She was young and beautiful, he handsome and successful. They fell strongly in love in a short time.
He left again, always back to the road for him, but she understood. Many Mandalorians were plagued with perpetual wanderlust. Always looking for the next big adventure. He always returned to her and soon they were married. Not long after that, they started having children. Mav expects his life to go quite similar to that of his father's. Many children, a loving wife, always waiting for him at home when he found his way there. Adventure around every corner and probably an early grave. That's okay with him, it's all he knows. He thinks it to be an honorable and true path to keep.

Dala Kote ~ Mav's wife, Dala is 24 years old. She's borne three children, all of whom are the light of her life. She loves her husband dearly, but wishes so much that he would stop traveling and settle down with her and their kids. She would never dream of betraying him, but the long months home alone with only small children for company leave her feeling lonely quite often. She fills her time crafting with her offspring, taking care of the household and baking or cooking.
Bora Kote ~ Mav's eldest son, Bora is 4 years old. He has had the most one on one time with their father out of all the children. He idolizes his father and does everything he can to copy Mav's behavior, likes or dislikes. He's a rambunctious youth who loves to play war games, pretend to shoot bad guys, roll around in the mud, and otherwise generally run his mother ragged. Bora gets along well with his younger brother, though he often tries to play too hard with the toddler. Dral isn't usually interested in running off with him anyway, so Bora spends most of his time by himself, with the animals or occasionally with other boys his age or slightly older when the opportunity arises.
Dral Kote ~ Mav's middle child, Dral is 18 months younger than his older brother - currently 3 years old. Quite the opposite of his brother, Dral is quiet for a toddler. He spends much of his time with letter blocks and puzzles, doing well to keep himself entertained without the need to run off from his mother's watch. He learns quickly and seems to pace his brother in intellectual growth, despite their age difference.
Pirun Kote ~ Mav's youngest child at the moment, little Pirun is only a few weeks past her first birthday. She's a little bundle of energy and happiness, though of course plenty of screaming and crying is to be expected of an infant. She has long since slept through the night, which is nice for Dala, though during the day Pirun is very clingy to her mother and won't allow her out of her sight without throwing a fit. Mav has been away for most of the baby's life, so Pirun acts with him as she does other strangers on the rare occasion he finds his way home.

Along the Fragrant Streets || Death Watch Mission Success || I had to go meet this Henry guy, some Sith apparently. He was dressed up in the gaudiest set of armor I'd ever seen! Shiny gold from head to toe, it was SO ridiculous! I couldn't help myself from laughing at him. He wasn't too happy with me, but I got the explosives wired up fast and blew up the senate building's shield generator with, like, zero help from him. He just stood there the whole time, watching guard or something. Useless is what he was. Mission success, though, so whatever. I just hope I don't have to work with him again!
