So as I'm sure the three of you know, I haven't been the most attentive teacher lately, pretty much disappearing for a month or so without warning. In light of that, as well as in an attempt to move forward I want to start this discussion. Feel free to yell at me and vent your frustration as you see fit, as well as use this thread for the purposes of letting me (and each other) know what you are interested in doing. Currently your three's padawans are the only ones I'm willing to do classes for but I'd still prefer to do threads that are more along the lines of missions then sitting in the forest and meditating, as much fun as that can be. ;)

So, what sort of skills and abilities do you want your paddies to learn? What type of stories are you looking to tell? I'm not just looking to teach but also to have our PCs grow and develop together as well. I have a few ideas that we can discuss doing. These ideas each focus on one of your PCs in particular, but I was thinking we could still do each thread as a group if you all are willing.

Firstly, myself and Jabonicus have discussed over Skype having Jade and Asheek travel to Asheek's home village to find it devastated by the recent attack of a particularly nasty Akul. We can work as a team along with a few NPC Togrutan huntresses to find and kill the Akul, as well as gain insight into Asheek's culture and people.

For Uniwue I was thinking of traveling to the Jade's homeworld to visit Jade's grandmother, who happens to be dying. While there we could discover a energy company illegally dumping waste in the swamps around the Evoyn manor. I imagine this would cause some degree of anger for both Jade and Uniwue personally, mainly because Uniwue loves nature and Jade's grandmother fell ill because of the waste.

My idea for Jyn was much simpler however, basically we run into a small Sith/Dark Side Cult and we are forced to engage them in combat. We could get NPCers for this but I don't really care. My overarching idea for the thread is that Jade ends up captured or unconscious and Jyn is forced to rescue her, this would be easier for him with the aid of Asheek and Uniwue. How you deal with the assailants is left to Jyn, as well as Asheek and Uniwue should the join the thread, and his decisions will affect how Jade sees him in the future.

The goal of these threads is not just to forge closer relationships between our Jedi, but as well as help your paddies develop as characters, including skills and abilities. I'm interested in hearing your guys' ideas and thoughts as well so let me have them.

Hmm, I love the idea of the padawan's working together to save Jade, (kind of like the Ahsoka Hondo arc in Clone Wars). Also, I'm not frustrated, since I've done the same thing before so I can't hold anyone responsible of doing what I myselfhave done. Oh, and can Jade teach him how to better his Force Sight? Cuz my basic idea for Jyn was he's a Miraluka hybrid which means his Force Sight doesn't come as naturally to a 'pure' Miraluka, which in turn adds to his craving of combat. But if he learns to let the Force guide him instead of guiding the Force, that he'd not only see clearer but as a side effect not be as violent and thus a better Jedi.

In light of that, since such a thread would be so easy I can have Jade show him a few other things as well, many Force abilities go hand in hand with each other so it's better to just teach some of them alongside the others. With Force Sight in mind, how would Jyn like being trained in Force of Will, Art of Movement, some endurance training, as well as abilities such as Life Sense and Force Stealth.

Basically I'm saying Jyn and Jade should go on a camping trip in the forests of Nemeira, I already have an idea on where to set the thread, is there anyone you'd like to invite? Asheek and Uniwue are of course welcome to join as well. I'm thinking we approach this more as a social/character development thread, I'm kinda tired of classes. Jade's specialty is emotional support, she'll offer what guidance she can though and she's also lost her family so they can have a bonding moment.​

Thats cool, I'll have him be sick or something in my next post, I'll just say he's using meditation to heal himself while Ku'uaki (Jade's panthicore) sits next to him for his protection while everyone else goes about their business.​
