Location: Äslajä City.
Outer Rim.
Pacanth Region.

Bunduki System.

Lukas Aurelius would be walking along the long stretch of bridge that connected the spaceport and landing zones to the main terminal to the city of Äslajä. The wind would whip gently at his brown robes as his white tunic lay only visible on the top part of it while his brown robes covered himself to his feet. His typical carry out on his hips and lightsaber on his belt as his light blue eyes scanned ahead. Alongside him were the senators personal guards who marched along side her almost like a square with two to the front and two to the rear with Lukas just alongside her. His face seemed relaxed and jovial a little as his moustache was more grown out than the rest of his facial hair that was neatly trimmed. His eyes quickly flicking over alongside his walking companion. "With all due respect Senator, I do think this is a bad idea to come with such a small force of guard." he sighed a little with the attention focused on her momentarily. Only for her to gather a quick typical political quip right back at him before he had a chance to look away. "Yes but I have you alongside me my dear Jedi."

Lukas would let out a small sigh but chuckle at the remark as his eyes flickered back to their path as they walked. "
I am not immortal but I will do my best to keep you protected. I only hope this meeting ends with common and hopefully forward ground." The city around them and beneath them would be bustling with traffic and species of all kinds going in every direction. Working droids would pass them loading small containers and suitcases onto pads for transport as the backdrop would be of many conversations, whirring of engines and billboards flickering their advertisements and pitches. As the group moved more towards the terminal, Lukas would have a look around them as it was his first time here. Thankfully Bunduki was neutral to the fight the Jedi were currently dealing with so at least it gave Lukas a sense of ease. The force would still be readily on edge for the cause but hey, least he wasn't up to his eyeballs on some mission covered in bantha shit.

The guards would get closer to the terminal as Lukas continued alongside the Senator before stepping into the main terminal area. His arms would be rested in a fold under his robes as they waited to be met by the other delegation. Lukas was weary but none the less kept quiet as he stood there. He had heard of this Senator only before he came there, often not minding himself into politics as he believed in sticking to himself and leaving the gossip and drama amongst themselves. Though he heard nothing bad or unusual of this Senator Stythani he was still quite curious on what she had intended for this meeting. His force was out there and had no intention of hiding the fact of what he was, a Jedi.

The Bunduki system. Celeste had never been here before, but she knew that it was always the best choice to meet on neutral ground, especially if you were about to meet a potential business partner for the very first time. As always, she had gathered as much information as possible about her fellow senator, but she had to admit that she was not quite sure about how this meeting would end. She was looking for a mutual beneficial solution, but like always, she wouldn't lie about how resource poor Rattatak actually was in terms of minerals or metals. However, what she had to offer today were highly trained soldiers and she knew that they were exactly what the senator might be looking for.

Bunduki had been a good choice because it was merely a stone's throw away and so she had a comparatively short journey, so that she descended the ramp of her ship in a fairly good mood. Because of the planet's proximity, she hadn't brought more than a squad of men with her. Her personal bodyguard, Everett, was by her side like always and she commanded the others to stay on board unless she would call for them via her comlink. Everett was grumpy like usual and he had cautioned her all day to just stay on Rattatak at once, but Celeste never stopped reaching out for valuable partnerships. "This won't take long...smile or I'll send you back to the ship" she warned him with a smirk, her voice half threatening half amused. He rolled his eyes and forced himself to a slight grin, thereby obeying her order at least to some extent, but she knew that he only did it to stay with her. She knew that he would never leave her side deliberately, protective and loyal as he was, but she also knew that she could threaten him with it because of that. She playfully elbowed him in the side and he shoved her back, so that they both chuckled slightly, but they both knew they had to maintain a more serious fassade in a few seconds and so she just cleared her throat and confidently started walking in the direction of the terminals.

'See? Smiling is not difficult and it doesn't look like trouble here' she telepathically told him and he only answered with a little growl. She knew what he meant by that: You should be more careful, bring more men and weapons and so on...However, this was a diplomatic mission after all, and Bunduki seemed fairly save and it was not contested territory in any way. Celeste was definitely no gullible woman, but she knew that she had nothing to fear from the fellow politician and if there were some troubles with the Natives ahead, she knew she could count on Everett's sword, same as on the Force and on her very own lightsaber, which she kept concealed beneath her dark, Rattataki senator robes though.

On diplomatic, political missions, she was never bragging with her background. If truth be told, she never did anyway. However, she suppressed her aura as usual, not wanting to be perceived by other Force sensitive being while she made her way across the spaceport, heading directly to the designated rendezvous point. But the closer she got, the clearer she could sense something. Someone to be more precise. A Jedi. She had worked with the Jedi before, but she had gotten lucky with them so far as they had shared her opinions on the meaningless tension between the Order and the Empire, but this didn't mean that this new Jedi would do the same. Why was that Jedi even there? She was extremely intrigued to find out, and soon she would, as they were already approaching the delegation from behind. Her usual warm smile was already on her lips before the delegation noticed, but for now it was rather a fassade than a genuine smile, as she was not sure whether the Jedi in his unmistakable robes would react.

Lukas Aurelius would stand there quietly as he scanned along the terminal. The buzzing and sounds of everything seemed to tick in his head before he turned his head over to the Senator. She looked calm and eager to talk of this trade, it was something about Senators that always had the best poker face. Nothing seemed to really upset them or at least look like it in public. Towards the time drawing closer to the meeting, Lukas could feel her unease as he spoke softly and calmly to her. "Breathe Senator." a slight smirk forming on his face as he couldn't help it. "Many things will happen today but no harm will come to you." as he turned his head back to her royal guards that stood there scanning the crowd. It wouldn't take much longer as foot steps came closer towards the group from behind. It was hard to tell from all those walking near and amongst them. There approached the delegation Lukas and Senator Constantine have been waiting for. It seemed the party was small such as theirs were but something about the approaching female seemed unique.

Lukas quite couldn't put his finger on it as he felt a weird itch about her. Something was up, Though it never made him uneasy as of yet but he was certainly wear of her. Lukas stood there with his his arms folded as Senator Constantine smiled brightly and did a slight bow to the delegation approaching. Her head would raise as her green eyes flickered to Celeste. "Welcome Senator, I am so very pleased to meet you." The tone in her voice was very real and genuine as Lukas stood there with the guard. A rather relaxed look coming to his face as Senator Constantine continued. "Please allow me to introduce, Jedi Knight Aurelius, He is an advisor and part of my guard for today." she would quip politely before Lukas would smile and bow slightly to her in respect. "A pleasure to meet you Senator." his brown robes would sway a bit from the bow before he straightened back up and looked at her body guard. His light blue eyes taking him in quickly for a respectful nod after introductions were made. The fact they were in the open was eating Lukas alive but for now he refrained as he knew Senator Constantine listened to his advice horribly.

The Senator would continue with her smile still formatted on her as she continued. "I am very excited to find some common ground in regards to this trade deal, I have booked us a conference room in the hotel across the space port. It is all covered under me. I am honored to have you and for us to meet here." She would extend her hand to accompany next to her out of courtesy as Lukas moved off to stay behind them. His arms folded as he walked behind the pair with the guards keeping the square like grid around them for protection. The busy space port would continue to bustle around them as intercoms of various languages repeating the same line would connect over head and echo through the loud crowds.

Celeste came to a halt and immediately bowed her head respectfully. She immediately realized that the senator in front of her seemed to be in a good mood (in contrast to the Jedi knight by her side), but her good mood was infectious and so Celeste's smile grew a little warmer and more honest. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Senator. I'm glad we could arrange a meeting right away" she replied politely, throwing Everett a short sideways glance, but he seemed to be doing okay for now. At least he managed to keep a rather neutral face, which was quite an achievement already.

When senator Constantine introduced the Jedi knight, Celeste would slightly bow her head as well, the smile on her lips widening yet another bit, since it was slightly amusing that he reminded her a little of Everett. She could sense the Jedi's discontent with the current situation and it was not hard to tell that her bodyguard felt the same. Both men were not actually delighted to schedule a meeting in an open area like there at the terminals, and so it was it must have a welcome circumstance for the two that the senator had taken care of reserving a meeting room. "Thank you very much, senator. That's very kind of you. I'm convinced that we are going to find a beneficial solution for both of us, but perhaps we should indeed relocate our meeting first" she answered approvingly while the group started to move already.

It seemed like she was doing a decent job in hiding her darker presence within the Force for now, since the Jedi didn't seem to have noticed yet. When they all started to move, she wished she had eyes on her back as she would have loved to see Everett's grumpy face right now. Also, she was curious about the Jedi's inner agitation, but she wouldn't ask him right away. Since she was still concealing her presence, she didn't reach out with the Force, but she was wondering whether he sensed anything troublesome right now. At first glance, the spaceport seemed very busy, but none of the hustle and bustle seemed to effect them negatively in any way and so Celeste tried to ignore her own slightly uneasy feeling for now. The other senator was leading the way and they would probably arrive soon, hopefully without any trouble.

Lukas Aurelius would walk alongside Senator Stythani's bodyguard as Lukas was rather quiet and reserved. He never had a stuck up attitude or chin held high. Merely he just let the two senators in front of him talk away as the group drifted their way out of the terminal of the space port and towards the hotel they booked. Lukas would keep his arms folded as he stepped out of the terminals main doors and began to move across the street. The sounds of ships going in every direction and multiple smells of street vendors, fumes and fresh air all compiled into scents hitting their faces as they moved towards the hotel. The neon glowing sign in both purple and yellow outlining would flash vibrantly the name of the hotel. "Captain's Quarters" as the more elegant five star hotel would be popular among those wishing beautiful views of the city skyline and being close to the space port for flights. As they walked near it, Senator Constantine would begin to briefly speak to the other Senator in her warming tone. "I have the meeting scheduled upstairs shortly, we can get our rooms first if you'd like and after the meeting we have the upstairs event room booked in our name for our companions. Guards and friends alike may join us."

Lukas would shoot a glance at the back of Senator Constantines head as he almost let out a sigh through the force not catching himself. As they stepped through the lavish doors of the hotel, They would be approached by a 3PO Droid that greeted them welcomingly. "Welcome guests, I am TR3PO." the whirring of the droid would continue between its speech. "Please follow me to the desk and I will certainly have you checked in." between each word would be a slight struggle and long draw as it slowly made its way over the desk. Lukas would take point past the group quietly as he made his way over to the desk. His light blue eyes glancing at the droids and human service personnel. "The name is under Aurelius." he eyed them as they kept it in his name to not have any suspicion drawn to Senator Constantines name. The Droid would nod politely before extending its arms out and typing away on a holoboard. Shortly after holo cards would be issued to Aurelius as he nodded politely. He would turn and move back to the group as he looked down at the cards and handed the Senators both their cards as when he handed Celeste's card a small shock of force would shoot through the card and into her lightly like a small zap.

His light blue eyes would meet hers with the look of "I know what you are hiding." as his face turned back to his usual glance with a smile slightly on his face as he let the two back guards with the personnel get the bags and make sure nothing was toyed with. Lukas would lead them along with a floating droid by his side to the elevator as once inside it would shoot them up with speed towards the higher two floors. Lukas stood in silence with his arms folded while they were going up. Shadows of light from the clear elevator would give them a view of the city below as they went further up. Strands of light glossing across their faces and his icy blue eyes looking out quietly. They would hear a ding of reaching their floor. Second highest with the event room being the very highest above them. Lukas would step out letting the droid lead as it spoke. "Rooms 800-803 are to the left, 804-806 to the right." as it buzzed quietly passed them back in the elevator with a slight bow before the door shut. Lukas would look at his card as it had 806 on it.

While the two women walked into the direction of the hotel, they were actually starting a little chit-chat that was not even fully political. However, through the trivial gossip she learned that Senator Constantine was actually quite a sociable companion and so she was optimistic that the negotiations would be rather pleasant and easy-going as well. Nevertheless, she was sure that the two men behind them, their own personal guards, wouldn't be as delighted as she was about the fact that they were getting along as well, but that was exactly why she couldn't help but to chuckle a little while she was finishing her last sentence. She couldn't wait to hear Everett rant once they were inside their room. She just knew it was coming.

It didn't took long and they were already at the hotel. It was admittedly quite fancy and the view must have been beautiful on the higher levels. She was very curious to see their rooms as she hadn't experienced luxury for quite some time now. She had gotten used to the vast desserts of Rattatak, but she wouldn't be able to stay there much longer. She wasn't missing huge, crowded cities like Äslajä either, but the diversity was a pleasant distraction today. "That sounds just perfect. I guess it would make sense to drop the luggage and freshen up a little before we commence, but I'm definitely looking forward to that night. Again, i kindly thank you for all your efforts, Senator". Her voice was now genuinely pleased and so was the smile on her lips, but when she glanced back at Everett, who was not just internally rolling his eyes on the prospect of attending a casual, social event tonight, she had to hold back to prevent herself from laughing.

While they were still talking, the Jedi knight picked up the holocards required for their rooms, but once she handed her her own card, something very interesting happened. Electricity. A short zap of the Force and she knew that he knew. She held eye contact with the Jedi for a moment and her smile turned into a little smirk. This evening would surely be interesting. She was certain of it. If he wouldn't engage her in a conversation, she would seize the opportunity herself, because unresolved tension could always pose certain problems and she wanted to avoid those at all costs. However for now she remained quiet, only observing her holocard with the number 805 on it until they were able step out of the elevator again. It didn't go unnoticed that the Jedi would be in the room opposite of her and this irony amused her a little. A Jedi and a Sith right across the hallway. This was surely going to be a night they'd remember, one way or another.

Lukas Aurelius would turn to Senator Constantine and escort her to her room in 801. He would let the card scan over before he personally entered and through the force felt for any presence or concern in there. Regardless he stepped in and began to look around. The rooms were all pretty similar in style as they were beautiful. White marble like floors with black granite trim around them as huge windows accompanied the first view as you walk in. The white furniture to match as big screens with Holonet would be splayed on them along with smaller ones of many different games across the galaxy like podracing. A bar was set up in the corner with underglow going around the room and artistic wall art and sculptures lay around the area. The huge door like windows opening up to the big balcony overlooking the city with glowing lights installed on the deck beneath the furniture and a pool next to it that seemed to drift off into infinity on the edge and felt like it simply rained down on the streets below. Lukas moved quietly as he personally cleared the room before turning to the Senator. "If you need me, call for me. I have this room mapped out and will let the force guide me if anything is going to harm you." His icy blue eyes focused on her with a serious gaze.

Senator Constantine would smirk. "Please Lukas, I will be fine. Enjoy yourself. I know this isn't the woods of Yavin for you to ponder around in but do put on a smile for our guests?" Lukas would let his hand rub his facial hair in ponder as he sighed a little and nodded. "Yes Senator." his gaze would stay on her with his concerned look as he then turned to the door. It would slide open as he turned once more and said to her. "I'll have guards stationed outside by the door and elevator door on this level." The Senator would laugh as she waved him off. " Yes yes, I'll see you shortly." as she turned back around to explore a little and get comfortable. The door would slide shut as Lukas sighed to himself before turning to the guards. "You two outside this door, anything remotely off you enter, go with your gut feeling and check in on her every two hour intervals." They would nod as Lukas headed back down the opposite end of the hallway towards his room. His card coming out of his robes pocket and in his hand as he looked at the room numbers plated next to the doors. Catching room 805 in his eyes as he felt the force behind it. "She's in there and she is a user of the force...A dark force."

Lukas would be extra weary as what seemed friendly could be a ploy. He would scan his card to his room as the door hissed open and he entered. It was the same lay out and design as the others as he looked around for a moment. After the quick moment passed he would make his way to the balcony as the doors lay closed. Raising his hand and swinging it to the side as through the force he would open them for him to step through. As he stood out on the balcony he would see darkness encroach on the horizon as soon night would be upon them. The sounds of ships flying around the city and night life would spur up. Flickering and neon lights filling the darkness as Lukas quietly kneeled down and overlapped his legs behind him like he was praying before sitting. His eyes would shut as he slowly began to meditate and let himself have clarity before the meeting. Slowly all the loud sounds around him began to phase out and slow down. The only thing he would hear is his own heartbeat thrumming in his ears.

The delegations parted again and even though Everett had a room for himself, he chose to accompany Celeste for now and she was completely fine with it, as they would have some chance to talk this way. The droid had already brought in the luggage and so theybwere alone again. "Alright, shoot" she turned around with a knowing look once they were inside the marvelous room, halfway amused already. He only let out a deep growl at first, immediately crossing his arms in front of his chest while she gestured towards the door to close it with the Force. "She seems all innocent but I'll keep an eye on him" he then snarled grumpily. Celeste made her way over to the bed and sat down on its edge, eyeing her bodyguard with an amused smile while she crossed her legs elegantly.

" He's a Jedi and he is no threat. We're on a diplomatic mission and you won't antagonize him" she made her serious point clear at first, before she would slightly grin again. "The last interactions with the Jedi all went outstandingly well. This won't be different" she reassured him, her voice softer. "I'm not sure. I've see the look he gave you. I don't like him and I don't trust him", he rumbled back, but she knew that this discussion was pointless anyway. "As always, I'll remain cautious and attentive, but I expect you to show some manners. Be as friendly as you can. The senator has been very kind and you don't have to marry the Jedi so just leave him be". Her voice had shifted into a slightly demanding tone, but when he rolled his eyes yet another time, she immediately started chuckling again. Even though she was quite amused by his regular antipathy to the stangers, she reopened her mouth to warn him, but he preempted her. "Yes, Milady. I'll behave. I know you'll send me back otherwise". "Good...but then you'd miss all the fun tonight" she then teased him back with a cheeky smirk before she got up again to actually freshen up as planned. She quickly changed into her dark Rattataki senator robes which were a little too uptight for her usual style, but this was a business meeting after all. She definitely planned on changing into something fancier for the get-together tonight. While she was still busy sorting her clothes, she could feel the Jedi coming back, his light aura unmistakably strong, especially when his use of the Force caused a little ripple within in. She knew that sooner or later she would have to take him aside, but first the meeting was the most present matter to adress for now. Once Celeste was finished, she gestured for Everett, who had laid himself down on the bed for now, to follow her, as Senator Constantine was probably already expecting them.

Lukas Aurelius would snap to from his meditating as the time passed rather quickly before he let his blue eyes open and look out over the city. The silence soon dissipating before the buzzing and sounds of the city came pouring back in like a light switch. He would let out a quiet sigh before placing his hand on one leg and pushing himself up quietly. He noticed the luggage set by the door as he figured he would change after the meeting. His eyes would fixate on the holoclock on the wall as it was soon time and the meeting would be upstairs. Lukas made his way out of the room and down the hallway towards the Senators before he fetched her. The guards stood at attention quietly as finally the door hissed open and out she came. "You look like a ball of fluff." Lukas would look at her as the professional dress looked ridiculous. The Senator would laugh before eyeing him up and down with nothing but humor. "Please Aurelius, you wear brown robes everyday." before Lukas would quip back in defense she moved past him and towards the elevator. Lukas followed her quietly as they got on and made their way to the floor above. As the door opened revealing the top of the hotel.

The top of the hotel would reveal a beautiful lay out with a long J shaped bar against the back drop of the city and a pool and dance floor among other things on one side. The other side would be a glass 360 degree room with a long table and chairs circling it like a oval. As they stepped through the glass doors the windows would go from see through to a dark tint that kept prying eyes out and lights turned on inside. Lukas raised an eyebrow as he stood over at the end of the table in the corner as the senator began to lay out folders and paperwork. Lukas would stand quietly and wait for the other party to join as his lightsaber kept safe on his hip as his arms remained folded. Once the other party accompanied them, Lukas did what he done best. Shut the kark up and listen as he let Senator Constantine do her magic. She was a sweet talker and great diplomat like many politicians. The best Lukas had was the force and being a good fighter. His words weren't as sweet. Once the meeting was over and either side was pleased or displeased. Lukas would head down with the Senator back to the rooms.

Once again parting ways as he went into his room and freshened up. Wearing the same thing as he went to get the Senator. Her mouth dropped as she barked and pointed her digit towards his room. "For karks sake Aurelius. NO BROWN ROBES." she would roll her eyes as Lukas smirked a little. Raising his hands up to surrender and have no contest he would turn back around and head towards his room. He wasn't one for dressing up but he did keep a few suits since he often found himself alongside politicians and advising senators when needed. Making his way back inside he would quickly shower and let the force flick the tap on as the rainfall like shower head would douse him in cold water. Letting himself quickly lather up using a rich charcoal wood like smell as he rinsed off and stepped out to get dressed. Sighing a little looking at the suit layed out on the bed as he stood there in his robe. He would begin putting on the Suit and finally buttoning up the sleeves as he kept his light saber tucked on his belt under his blue blazer.

Rolling his shoulders a little he would stop to look in the mirror with a near like displeased face. "I feel like a princess.." he mumbled to himself as he pushed forward. Letting the door hiss open as he locked it behind him and tucked his card in the suit pocket. Walking over to the Senators room he would knock again as this time she opened with glee. "There! Perfect! You look dashing!" she exclaimed as she stepped out and Lukas would stand by her side. "Mhm." he gruffed as they made their way back up the elevator and upstairs once more. Lukas would step out onto the roof top as the music was just starting and a few friends were there of the Senators along with guards. Lukas would let her step off and go kiss ass and shake hands as he made his way to the bar to sit down.

The duo was headed upstairs into the direction of the designated meeting room and right before they entered, Celeste poked Everett yet another time. The tall man obeyed by exhibiting a sarcastic smile, but it was better than nothing, so Celeste just shook her head amusedly before she was entering the room. Senator Constantine was already inside and so Celeste wasted no time before she sat down across her and started the meeting by outlining her ideas. As expected, it was just the two of them exchanging and discussing not only business and trade related ideas and conditions of their collaboration, but also words in general, as both men remained completely silent. Everett had never been much of a talker, but the same seemed to apply to the Jedi, so once the meeting was coming to an end, she hadn't yet had any chance to speak with him in private, but she was about to change that tonight anyway.

When the meeting was over, Celeste was more than pleased with the results. The women had managed to establish a common ground easily and after having presented each other's expectations, the negotiations weren't exactly complicated. Celeste was outstandingly good in being persuasive, but today she didn't even need to prove it. Senator Constantine agreed with her terms rather quickly and Celeste was fine with hers, so they had found a mutual beneficial solution sooner than expected. Rattatak would supply trained guards for Senator Constantine and they would receive valuable resources in return, just like expected.

She returned to her room and started to make herself ready for their dinner party while Everett did the same in his room. It was quite unusual that he left her alone, but it seemed like he was finally starting to relaxe a little. The quick, pleasantly warm shower she took was definitely relieving, but instead of savoring the amenities of the hotel further, she hurried a little to get herself ready as she was looking forward to the night. It's been a while since she had allowed herself to enjoy a night off and so she was more than eager to begin. Everett was knocking on the door before she had changed her attire, but she let him in as always, knowing that she would at least have someone to help with the zipper of her dress. "Oh would you look at that! There's a smirk on your lips and you're wearing a suit instead of armor...what a rare yet beautiful sight" she teased him with a big grin, but she was indeed a little suprised that he seemed rather confident with his sleek, black suit. She herself had also chosen nothing too fancy for tonight, as it would still be a rather casual, private event, so she went with her elegant, yet rather sexy dress.

She handed him her lightsaber as always, because it would be easier for him to keep it concealed. She was not expecting to need it anyway, but you could never be too careful these days. Once they were all set, the two of them were headed for the elevator, but when the doors swung open when they had reached the right level, she was a little sulrised to see more people than expected. The place was not actually crowded, but since she wasn't familiar with any of Senator Constantine's friends, she would stay on her guard. Celeste was smiling warmly as she greeted the others, but her eyes remained watchful nonetheless. However, the first rather odd thing she realized was that the Jedi had distanced himself from the Senator at the moment, making his way right over to the bar and that was when an idea occurred to her. She was still extremely curious to exchange more words with the man who had remained quiet so far, so she excused herself for a moment and approached him confidently. She didn't bother that he knew she was involved with the dark side, but she was surely eager to explain everything to him, if he would be just willing to listen, so she figured she might as well start figuring things out now than postponing them.

Lukas Aurelius would be leaning against the bar as the music continued to echo through the rooftop. Some danced, others conversed and laughed away as the night began to unfold. Senator Constantine would be busy enjoying her ass kissing along with the others around her as Lukas looked at the female twi'lek bar tender who leaned against the counter. "What can I get you handsome?" She smirked as Lukas shook his head slightly. "Water, please." he smiled softly as she nodded and fetched him a glass before handing it down in front of him before tending to other guests. Lukas would take a mouthful of water and let it sink back down his throat as he scanned the area around him. His eyes focusing on ships driving by in the distance and other roof top parties happening in different hotels and venues. Something just seemed weird to him, he felt it. Sighing he would go to reach for his glass before he felt the presence again. This time it wasn't trying to dull itself down and wash its aura. His head would stay still and his eyes focused forward as he held his drink in his hand softly.

The footsteps of her approaching him clacked in his head like heels in a empty hallway as the force focused on her approach. It was when she came close basically letting him know she was directing her attention to him and not the bartender he would arch his head a little and his icy blue eyes would meet hers. His demeanor was well reserved as his lightsaber hung on his side under his suit still. He finally would speak as he turned his head back around to his drink with a slight smirk on his lips. "A Sith negotiating without drawing a lightsaber. I am impressed." he would take a mouthful of water before turning to her and gazing her face. "I don't sense hostility in you but there is something about you I can't wrap my finger around for the death of me." he would look over her shoulder for a moment to gaze at her bodyguard. His blue eyes looking almost through him with curiosity as he turned back to her. "I'm hoping your negotiations are with good fortune and not a ill attempt at kidnapping Senator Constantine..?" he would perk a brow for a moment.

At the same time the bartender would approach seeing the Jedi had accompany as she offered her services to the Senator. "May I get you anything?" she smiled as Lukas waited to see if she would get something. He wasn't at all hostile to her but more so probing her to find out what is she doing or working on in her head. Least it gave her a chance to explain herself since most Sith and Jedi meetings are generally never this calm or pleasent. Senator Constantine would appear to be looking across the dance floor at Lukas and seeing he was with company. Smirking to herself as he was finally mingling and not being a sulk before turning back to her friends and chatting away. Lukas awaited to see what she had to say as his playful jousting to her would hopefully draw out a real answer and not a farce. The music would continue to echo and boom in the backdrop of their conversation as strobe lights shot across their faces and bodies by the dance floor.

His light aura was hard to ignore and it was growing stronger, more radiant even with every step she took in his direction. She wondered why he had decided to give himself away as a Jedi so obviously, as both Jedi and Sith found themselves in rather precarious circumstances in the galaxy right now, but maybe she would soon find out. She realized that Everett made the slightest move to follow her, but she telepathically instructed him to stay behind with a short 'stay' and he immediately stopped. Each of her step was executed elegantly, one could have even called it seductive, but she was not trying to tease the Jedi. Instead, she kept her usual appearance as the slightly firty, charming senator up, which she always did when strangers were watching. She hated to pretend, but she had a reputation to maintain after all. The Jedi might have seen through her fassade, but this didn't mean that she would allow others to do the same.

Once she reached the Jedi, a charming, warm smile was still on her lips. It was becoming more genuine after his slightly cheeky remark while she elegantly slid into the seat next to him. "You're about to learn that I'm not at all the usual Sith", she began with a smirk while ensuring that no one was close enough to overhear their conversation. The rest he said already made her chuckle amusedly and she playfully tilted her head to the side while she had her light blue eyes directly locked with his. "You might be confused because I'm not a blind follower of the Empire. It seems like the imagine you have in mind is rather black and white, but trust me, there are plenty shades of grey" she softly replied while she was slightly amused by his raised brow. "And no. If that had been my plan, she would have already vanished" she added jokingly and with a little wink, before she gave him a more serious answer: "Trust me, this meeting was fully diplomatic. We've agreed on mutually beneficial solutions, so I'm more than happy and why would I ever want to kidnap another senator anyway?" She was indeed curious to find out what was going on in his head, but it really seemed like he was convinced she was some sort of evil Sith creature, luring in the dark to assassinate senators, perhaps even out of fun...What an absurd thought, even for a Jedi.

The words had hardly even left her mouth when the bartender was approaching. She immediately shifted her gaze towards the Twi-lek and gave her a warm smile as well. "Yes please. I would prefer something fruity...perhaps a cocktail" she then told her and the female bartender would nod with a smile, before she was already away to prepare her drink. Celeste had indeed realized that Jedi Knight Aurelius was sipping water instead of a drink, but this didn't suprise her at all. The man seemed to follow the code rather strictly, and perhaps this was also the reason for his outdated attitude towards the Sith...but Celeste loved challenges after all, so why not enlighten him as well?

Lukas Aurelius would sit there listening intently. He wasn't one to interrupt or butt into someones perspective as they tried to explain something or their beliefs. His icy blue eyes solely focused on her as he continued listening. His white teeth showing a little in a smirk as she mentioned she was no regular sith. His hand would come up and take a mouthful of his water as he swallowed it and continuing to listen to her as once she was done he would pick up on her first comment. "Well, I haven't met many Sith who prefer pen and not saber. So I can tell you're not your average member of the Sith." He would tease lightly as he would continue to focus his attention on her when he spoke. "I don't believe there is a grey line to follow." he would look at his drink before staring into the water quietly and continuing. "You carry the banner behind the name and that banner has a lot of innocent blood on their hands." He would look back up with his eyes meeting hers. The strobe lights flashing across his face as he sighed a little in thought. "If more Sith followed your belief in talking and negotiating we wouldn't be having this fight. The dark side of the force blinds you and leads you to hate. Tell me how many Jedi have slain the innocent in fury?"

He would chuckle a little at the kidnapping comment as he added. "Well I would try to give you a hell of a fight before you tried taking her, your friend included." he teased softly as he knew his limits but that wouldn't stop him from anything. The music would continue bouncing around them as he enjoyed this conversation. Nothing was aggressive or heated, two people who sought peace in different banners sitting down and not drawing lightsabers to end one another. A rare sight indeed. "I've known Sith to hold innocent citizens hostage just to lure Jedi out, or for some sort of self gain. If you don't fall under any of that then I have much respect for you." He would laugh a little as he added. "Your boyfriend, does he fall under the same banner? I don't sense much of a force off him." he would perk an eyebrow as he serious on the boyfriend comment. The gentleman seemed to stick by her side like glue and she seemed well off to defend herself. He would take another mouthful of his water before setting it back down and watching the bartender hand her a cocktail.

When the bartender came back with her drink, Lukas would use the force to slide it over to her as he looked ahead for a moment and spoke softly. "I do wish for a galaxy to be in peace. I believe it can be done, though it is not something easy to attend, it is possible. I share your vision and I admire your passion. Through diplomacy I hope you succeed in making that happen. The Jedi can be stuck in our ways as well but I find we are getting better. Time it takes but we are getting there." he laughed softly as he glanced at Senator Constantine to make sure she was okay. The Senator would be continuing her talking and conversing as once Lukas seen she was safe he would look back. His icy blue eyes looking into her own as he smiled slightly in politeness.

Her light blue eyes still rested on his and she didn't remove her gaze while he was averting his to take another sip of his water. She listened to him attentively, the charming smile not leaving her lips for one second, but his slight teasing soon made her chuckle slightly. "I see. You seem to be someone versed in overgeneralizing..." she began slightky teasingly, not unkind at all though. Her voice was still soft and she was not rolling her eyes or anything. Quite the contrary: This was getting more and more interesting. Celeste loved interesting discussions and someone with such a strong, generalized resentment was obviously more challenging to talk to than most. But she loved challenges and she was eager to accept this one.

"I get what you are saying. You assume a strict duality within the Force. Let me give you two perfect example that prove you wrong: You've probably heard of what happened on Kashyyyk, right? We've seen two Jedis, a Knight and a Padawan, tying a bunch of wookies onto a spaceship and wrapping some into a parachute to 'save' them. The wookies were also innocent and yet many died. Second example: We've seen countless fallen Jedi before, slaying the innocent and committing terrible things", she paused for a second, her voice was soft, yet serious. " So I'm making a fair point here. I'm a firm believer that the individuals matter. We don't need tags like Jedi or Sith to determine whether someone is having innocent blood on their hands. I was born into the Empire and trained by my own family and I've never slaughtered the innocent. I couldn't choose my path when I was a child and trained in the dark side, but I chose my path soon after. As you put it: I prefer the pen over the lightsaber and diplomacy over meaningless slaughter, just like you do. The only thing I'm doing different is that I was taught to embrace my emotions and believe me when I'm telling you that I am not at all a hateful being", she went on, now with a little wink.

As their conversation went on, the couldn't help but to chuckle a little. "Oh I believe you would give me one hell of a fight. Perhaps we can try it out some time? I would never refuse the chance of a fair, peaceful trainings fight" she then suggested jokingly, playfully cooking her head to the side. When he made his remark about Everett, she began laughing whole-heartedly. Clever Jedi. Tiptoeing around to gain useful information... "How rude of me. I haven't even introduced him properly. Trust me, Everett would also give you one hell of a fight, but he would never turn hostile against anyone without me telling him to. He's unbelievably loyal and he's been with me since day one. He's not related to the Empire at all, but he chose to follow me when I freed Rattatak of the slavers" she then explained, quickly looking over her shoulder to give him the 'everything is fine, but stay on your guard' look. She then met the Jedi's eyes with a smirk again, while he was sliding the drink over. She had been vague on purpose as well, not elaborating on her relationship with her bodyguard, but it seemed like this conversation was touching upon more important matters anyway. "I completely agree with you there. Peace is the highest value and I'm always a promoter of diplomacy. Conflicts can be settled, but there is still too much tension in the galaxy right now, but part of the problem is that the majority is still talking about this duality. There is no pure good and pure evil. The Empire surely pursues a clearer course of expansion, but I'm not sharing those opinions. Right now, several peace treaties were made and I feel like we're finally drifting into the right direction, but it's still a long way to go. Regardless of what's going on behind the scenes, I'm trying not to be prejudiced about a person's background" she concluded when the bartender was out of earshot again, throwing him another warm smile. She was completely honest. Just because he was a Jedi, she neither saw the need to be hostile towards him nor wanted to avoid interaction. Quite the contrary: So far, he seemed to be just as sociable and easy-going as her, so the chances were pretty high that they could get along great and have a fun evening if he would be able to suppress his inner resentment against the Sith. With that all being said, she took a sip of her cocktail, enjoying the fruity sweetness of the cooled, colorful liquid in her mouth.

Lukas Aurelius would continue listening as he smiled a little. Listening to her was intriguing and she was most certainly set in her ways as much as Lukas was but at least they had some common ground to fall on. Letting her finish each response before commenting on it so she could speak her peace. "Loosing someone by trying to save them is a lot better than killing someone for the sake of it, or for anger." his icy blue eyes continuing to focus on her as he took a small sip of water and set the glass back down. Smirking a little at the comment. "Fallen Jedi are no longer Jedi, they left the order the moment they decided to go against everything we believe in. They are not us." he would look into her eyes with a slight smile still formed on his face as he enjoyed this quite a lot. "No you didn't pick your path to begin with but you most certainly can alter it now. I don't think you're a hateful being. In fact I think you're quite the opposite considering you took time to meet a Senator to negotiate and to sit down explaining yourself to me when you have no need too.".

A deep laugh stifled from him as he heard her mention the spar. "Oh we most certainly could. A peaceful spar. I'd love to see how the Council would look when that gets mentioned." he teased with another laugh. Listening to her mention her boyfriend, Lukas would nod solemnly to her. "It's good you have his loyalty. Loyal is a rare trait many seem to have no possessed in need of only wanting things for themselves and their best interests. I'm quite sure he'd be a good combatant." as he left it at that. His fingers crossing one another as he nodded to the diplomacy mark. "If you come to occupy anyone, on their home planet, on their ground, their heritage. You will not be welcomed and rejoiced, you aren't a freer of the people but merely a ruler with chains." he smiled a little as he hoped she would understand his reference to the Empires expansion. "It is good you don't share the same opinions on the matter and that is why we are sitting here talking and not drawing out sabers." he would laugh a little. Taking another mouthful of his water before finishing it and setting it down.

"
Jedi aren't always hostile anyways and would rather talk than to fight. You aren't a evil soul that I must diminish. I don't look at you as that. At the end of the day, we are two of the same kind with merely different sides that we represent with our reasons. We may not entirely agree on how things are being handled but none the less we are into the frey of it all." He would stand slightly as he offered his hand. "I am Jedi Aurelius, by the way." He laughed. "I Know the Senator introduced me but allow me to properly introduce myself. I Don't want to make you think all Jedi are full of pomp and heads held high." he would add to it as his hand was extended. "To make amends to this overgeneralizing would you care for a dance?" His blue eyes looking at her as he laughed. He had his guard certainly up and he didn't overly trust her but he knew he wasn't going to make a horrible nasty impression to anyone, even a Sith.

He was just getting more and more interesting. Admittedly, he was a little stubborn, but so was she. She wouldn't let him get away with this opinion so easily. "I agree. Of course they wanted to save the Wookies, but Jedi make mistakes too and I would never judge the whole Order for the mistakes of a few. Fallen Jedi were all Jedi once, but they've chosen the path of anger or destruction, which you call the Sith' way. Many Sith might follow that path, but all I can say for myself is that I've been taught to embrace my emotions and use passion as strength instead of suppressing it, like the Jedi do. I don't need to run around and slaughter people and i would never let someone feel my rage" she went on explaining softly, taking another sip of her drink. It was pretty delicious, but also relatively strong. She hadn't drunk any alcohol for quite some time...the last occasion had probably been the social event on New Alderaan, so she wasn't actually used to it.

"But I appreciate that you respect my diplomatic attempts. I can promise you that it's not just a fassade. Like you put it: I've found my path and the path is diplomacy. I'm a senator of a free planet and not a puppet of the Empire" she concluded with a smile, before his remark about their friendly fight made her laugh wholeheartedly. "I would love to see their faces, I've got to admit that. She knew that it would also be extremely dangerous for him, since he would surely have a lot to explain. She left the remarks about Everett slide and only reacted with an agreeing nod, as there was not much more to add here. She wasn't quite sure though whether he was aware that he was her loyal bodyguard and nothing more, but time would probably tell, so she was replying to the Empire's expansion. "Exactly. That's not what I call liberation. What I was trying to establish on Rattatak was an actual democracy with free people. I believe that this is the way and tyrrany is not. It seems like we're actually on the same page there" she agreed with him softly before downing the rest her drink.

She was not planing on getting drunk, but loosening up a little didn't seem like a bad idea. When he intruded himself again, she took his hand with a warm smile." It's definitely refreshing to meet you, Knight Aurelius. I'm Celeste. Please don't ever refer to me as 'Senator Stythani', when we're not doing business. I'm often getting tired of such unnecessary formalities", she replied with a smirk, but his next move actually surprised her. She was always pretty good at reading people, even anticipating their next moves, but it was indeed surprising that the reserved, slightly prejudiced Jedi asked her to dance. "That's what you call making amends? Well then I'm fine with it. Maybe it's the Jedi' way. I'd love to dance" even though it was unexpected, it was a pleasant surprise. She was hiding her surprise by overplaying it with an amused chuckling while she slightly teased him yet another time. Her hand was still inside his and so she would just get up without taking her light blue eyes of his.

Lukas Aurelius would nod politely to her as he smirked a little. She seemed like a spit of fire mixed with a charming smile but that wouldn't keep the Jedi's guard null. She visioned something greater than what many Sith wanted in life and she backed up her beliefs with solid points. Her foundation was well built and Lukas could respect that. She was refreshing like a deep glass of water in the far dunes of Tatooine. Dangerous to consume as a whole and so quickly but more to sip on and take from indulging. His icy blue eyes would continue on her owns as he nodded to her request. "Very well Celeste, I will refrain from calling you Senator Stythani as per your request." He chuckled a little as he did a slight bow to tease to her diplomatic look and posture she gave. Lukas would feel her warm hand grip his slightly as he laughed again at her comment on how his version of making amends tied to the Jedi way.

"I believe this is just my personal way to show you us Jedi aren't robots who follow a code." The music would continue bumping as the lights flashed across their faces. Lukas never had a partner and never took anyone passed the point of a dance. He had a small thing before the order took him but he was nothing set in stone of a relationship. He never tried any gain or desire to bed with anyone and took his code seriously so this dance was rather unique for him. As he lead the way to the dance floor a song would click on to where it was more upbeat and fun. Lukas would NEVER admit it but when he was on the mining ship his mother did show him how to dance as he watched her and his father break a leg on the day a week they had off together. That kind of love inspired him that even though things are hard at times, you always make the most of it.

As the tempo continued to thrum and Lukas lead the way, he would shuffle on the dance floor with his body effortlessly moving in the suit as he looked half nervous and half "
Fuck it, here we go." as he immediately laughed out loud. "Hold on." he would gesture as when the music dropped and the tempo became exotic with a vibrant blend he would snap her into a spin as he held her hand. Letting her roll out from his arm like a wind up toy before quickly and non aggressively snapping her back into his arms as his feet took the lead. Stepping forward and back multiple steps as he held her hand close to his chest and his other respectively above her waist line. Senator Constantine would stop her talking and conversing with her friends as she glanced over to see Lukas swinging Celeste around jovially. "Well I'll be damned.." she stood star struck.

Lukas would be laughing in a good way as he continued the dance and spun her in a one eighty with her facing away from him as he lifted her up in his arms as his muscular arms only really popped out immensely in the lift as the strain of his muscles shown. He would spin her up in his hands also using the help of the force to flip her and hold her high above his head with her laying horizontal as he looked up at her and smiled a little before swooshing her back down with momentum and speed between his legs and rock her back to her feet as the music continued to thrum and others around decided to join and partake in the dance. Lukas would get her back on her feet as the music continued for a little longer but soon would end. A bead of sweat built on his hairline and ran down his face into his beard a little as he looked at her. "See, we all aren't what we are thought to be."

She couldn't help but to playfully roll her eyes on his response because he put it so formally again. But regarding the formal part: He hadn't told her his first name yet, but she was used to that from the other Jedi he had worked with anyway, so it didn't suprise her much that he was no different in that regard. It was still something she would keep it mind. He was still trying to remain professional whereas she was able to let go of must of her duties. But that was okay for now, as long as it wouldn't dull his spirits.

Her smile was widening as they were actually making their way across the dancefloor and she was still a little incredulous that this was happening. She quickly glanced over to Everett but she wondered why she even did it. It had been obvious that he was everything but amused, but the deathly glance he threw the Jedi was even more hilarious than expected. She winked at him, once again giving him the 'it's okay' look while smiling sweetly, but then Knight Aurelius was already getting started.

His last remark was already being partly swallowed by the music, but she did understand enough to start chuckling amusedly. She wanted to ask him whether he had actually danced before, but the question was already answered a few seconds after as he began leading her across the floor. Celeste had been taught how to dance several classic dances while she was growing up and since she was regularly attending events like this, she was also quite skilled in modern dances.

She followed his lead obediently, which was admittedly not the easiest thing to do, because it was quite ironic that a Jedi was leading her anyway and she was never one to give up control easily, but the longer they've been dancing, the more enjoyable it got. She was pleasantly surprised by his dance moves and she was laughing a lot, obviously having a good time. They were surprisingly well in sync, especially when considering that they've never danced together and Senator Constantine was not the only suprised bystander. Their performance was great, at least that was what she thought and when he put her down on her feet again, she was still laughing amusedly. "Wow. Now I'm impressed. You're a very good dancer! And it seems like you're actually starting to reconsider attitude", she would say, genuinely smiling and completely honest about the compliment and her appreciation concerning his seemingly new found open-mindedness.

Lukas Aurelius would laugh a little as he let her go when he put her back on her feet. His hands collapsing to the sides of his suit as he nodded politely to her. "Well, as I said, we all aren't what we are thought to be." Lukas would still chuckle as he felt the sweat go past his chin and down his throat. He would make his way back to the dance floor as he finished his little show of gratitude. As he approached the bar he would look over his shoulder and see the Senator smiling at him from across the dance floor and giving a little thumbs up of approval as Lukas would shake his head in amusement from her gesture and get another glass of water at the bar. He would glance over at Everett with his blue eyes staring into him as he nodded politely out of respect to let him know he meant no harm. His eyes would focus back onto Celeste as he spoke in a almost packed tone. "So who taught you to dance? You're quite good!".

Taking another bit of water as he glanced to her while he held the glass tight in his hand. "Well I best move on, I'm sure he isn't to pleased I already took you out for one dance." he laughed softly as his eyes met hers. Lukas knew damn well this wasn't right of him to talk any further and the variables were many, Sith, the Code, Her boyfriend. It was best he stopped and as he stared into her blue eyes with a tint of teal. "I believe what you tell me, you have good intentions and I can see that and sense it." he would smile lightly. "You're a good person and in a different world and different place I only wonder what would we would be meeting like outside of a war." He would turn his head back over to the Senator who seemed to be making her way over. "My my Lukas, you are quite the show. I never knew you had it in you.".

Lukas would smirk a little. "I am full of surprises Senator." he would quip back before looking at the pair. " I am not much of a partier so forgive me." he would laugh a little as the Senator turned to face Celeste. "Keep an eye on him, he's to reserved." before she tapped her shoulder with a smile and walked away. Lukas would nod to her as the Senator disappeared back across the room. A slight smirk coming from his lips as he took his water and raised it to Celeste. "It has been an honor, pleasure to meet you Celeste." as he would bow slightly out of respect and make his way to the far balcony over looking the city. His water in his hand as he stared out at the ships flying by in every direction and music bumping behind him as he took it all in quietly. It was something about her that dragged his interest but all the variables of everything else tugged at him from a different side. It was like he wanted to know more of her but knew it could come crashing down. The only thing he's ever known is the Jedi.

Celeste chuckled amusedly at his remark because it was surprisingly true. He had suprised her strongly, but it was refreshing in contrast to most surprises. This time it was nothing bad that she had misjudged someone, but it had been quite enjoyable instead. It didn't go unnoticed that Senator Constantine had shown a satisfied reaction concerning their little dance interlude, so it became rather obvious that she was as positively surprised as she was. When they were back at bar, she glanced over to Everett once again, fearing that he was still busy plotting an assassination, but he had lost his deathly stare momentarily as someone had involved in a conversation. His gaze would still constantly shift between the Nautolan and her, but at least he seemed a little distracted from his overprotective demeanor. She was hoping that he would allow himself to have a good time as well tonight, but she knew that it was very unlikely as he was never allowing himself a break.

She quickly ordered another cocktail before she focused back on the Knight, happily chuckling at his compliment."Oh, thank you...I'm flattered. I've been taught how to dance at the Academy and I kept replenishing my skills regularly, but it's been a little while. You're lead was easy to follow" she then replied genuinely smiling before her drink was already placed on the counter in front of her. Her smile was, however, starting to fade a little at his next remark as it made it fairly clear that he was slightly misjudging her relationship to Everett. "Everett? No, he doesn't mind. He's fundamentally mistrusting and he was of course fearing for my well-being when he saw you're robes because he's informed about the war and all the tension between the factions, but he knows that I'm excellent in reading people and he still trusts my judgments. Also, he would never dance as everything he does is solely based on our professional relation and so he wouldn't begrudge some fun". Had he really thought that they were an actual thing? What an interesting assumptions.

Before she could react to his genuine, if not even heart-warming compliment or elaborate on the thought of them meeting under different, less troublesome circumstances, she could realize that they were getting some company. The Senator's comment made her chuckle amusedly, but it was a little surprising that she had only made their way over to them to tease her about keepig an eye on him. "Oh I will gladly do that. I've got one of the very same sort" she would answer jokingly with a nod into the direction of her own bodyguard before they already found themselves alone again. When he announced that he would take his leave, she reciprociated his respectful bow with an appreciating nod, the genuine, delighted smile still on her lips. "It's been a pleasure to meet you, too" she said to him before he was already headed for the balcony. Her eyes followed him until he was outside while she was realizing that he had still piqued her curiosity. Spending a night with a Jedi was surely playing with fire, same as even sharing a dance, no matter how pure the motives, but she was admittedly a little thrillseeker. Even more important than that, however, was the fact that she didn't even care he was with the Order. She was genuinely interested in his persona and his very self. But he seemed to be needing some fresh air and so she took her glass and joined the other guests again, exchanging pleasantries and mingling with the crowd. The night was still rather young and the atmosphere seemed quite jolly, so she was very curious about how this night would go on.
