Nick Lirot went with the jedi master knight straight towards the spaceship. Excited, he truly had become, "Becoming a jedi, wow that's so cool!" The little boy had in mind. As he kept on having a pretty big smile on his face when entering a spaceship, wihch would go to the planet of Tython. Just at the atmosfere the boy waved over towards his planet and said, "Wow those people just look like little ants!" He could hear the knight laugh and Nick also laughed imitating the jedi for the funs of it.

The boy became pretty tired and slowly feel asleep holding a small pocket of cards that he had gotten from the knight of many creatures that were all around the galaxy....

-timeskip-

Just as the boy woke up they were finally arriving on Tython, where his jedi training would be starting. The communicator of the knight went off and it gave a certain location infront of the temple. The knight nodded and knew that it was a pretty big distance but also that the young Nick had to go through a large group, which most of the time made him feel uncomfertable. The jedi said, "Hey Nick Let's have a match, to see who's the fastest at those stairs there." The Kid directly started to sprint trying to win from the jedi without any kind of mercy of actually losing. Then he was finally out there, at the stairs in a small amount of time. He said, "Nick, I will not be your teacher but I know ... that your teacher will be very kind" the first thing the kid did, was hiding behind the knight. Who was so much larger then him (6''4) As the kid noticed someone upstairs of the entrance of the stairs.

Rhonun had been experiencing the life back at the Temple slowly, staying in his usual routine of rising before sunrise and going through various exercises and forms. There was no rest for the Cathar, not while his responsibilities grew so much greater and he knew that he still had much to learn, but he also needed to teach. For the first time, he had looked over the dossier of incoming initiates to the Temple and he weeded through a great deal of them. He chose Nick out of the stack he had received because out of all of them, Nick was the one Rhonun felt he could help the most. He had never dealt with children, let alone Force sensitive children, as a teacher. It would be a good experience for Rhonun and he hoped that his lessons would be well received by the boy as well.

The Cathar stood at the top of the stairs from the grounds to the Temple's main hall, watching as the shuttle approached. He was clad in black slacks with a grey obi, a red rash tied around his midsection beneath his belt. Wearing his black robe which billowed gently in the breeze, he wore a small smile on his face as he saw a young boy walking with the Jedi recruiter. Rhonun remembered how his fist master, Ayva, greeted him when he first arrived to the Temle, so scary and alien. Folding his arms in to the wide sleeves of his robe, Rhonun projected a light aura for the child to see, a shimmer of white-gold light around his body. When Nick ran up the stairs, only to hide behind the recruiter, Rhonun couldn't help but smile and chuckle slightly. When the two of them reached the top of the stairs where Rhonun stood, he nodded to the Knight, who moved out of the way. Rhonun went to a knee so that the boy could look him in the eyes and so the Cathar would not look so intimidating.

"Welcome to the Jedi Temple, Nick. My name is Rhonun Tor. I will be your teacher here." Rhonun's voice was deep and slightly raspy, his accent rolling and smooth. "I will also be your confidant, and friend." holding out his gloved right hand, Rhonun offered to shake the boy's considerably smaller hand in a gesture of goodwill and friendship.

Nick was standing there looking over towards the bigger lifeform infront of him. It was his master. The jedi recruiter looked back and smiled kindly, as he stepped over towards the side moving out of the way having direct eyecontact with his master. He saw his master lowering on the same height, as he spoke with a kind voice. The kid directly made his eyes sparkle, as he extended both of his hands saying, "Nice to meet you to mister Tor, I hope we have a lot of fun and we visits many planet so I can see super cool creatures!~" The boy said with a kind excited voice as he smiled kindly, actually getting slightly more comfertable by any second that went by.

The Jedi recruiter in the meantime left, nodding over at the Jedi knight, taking one more glance at the kid as he left the actual grounds.

Just while the jedi recruiter left the boy kept on talking, "I won't have any homework right soon? When will we start?! Will I directly learn those foosh foosh techniques?" He said energetic. As the boy in his initiate clothing was looking over towards the master standing up straight grabbing out of his pocket again a package full of creature cards.

Rhonun shook the boy's hand gently, remembering that his hand was cybernetic, and dared not squeeze too hard. Nick's enthusiasm was nearly staggering, causing Rhonun to softly laugh as he stood up to his full height. Gesturing for the boy to follow, Rhonun lead him inside the Temple on Tython. He remembered his first time he came to the Temple, baffled by its size and beauty. However, when Rhonun came as a Padawan, he was much larger than Nick was, so Rhonun could only imagine how grandiose it looked to the child. Walking side by side with his new apprentice, Rhonun clasped his hands behind his back, looking down at Nick as he brandished some creature cards.

"There is little written homework, and certainly not today. We will start at your pace. I may be your Master, but that does not make you a slave by any means. I will teach you..." he chuckled again, grinning wide to display his white, dagger-like teeth, "the foosh-foosh techniques. We call them lightsaber forms, though I do like the way yours sounds." Leading the boy onward, Rhonun continued to speak with a sagely tone. "I will be sure to take you to many planets, so long as it is not a danger to you. Perhaps once you are acquainted, we can start with this planet here. Understanding life through the Force is a very important fundamental skill for all Jedi. Would you like that? Tell me what you wish to learn first, and I will teach you to the best of my capacity." Rhonun looked down at Nick, his amber-gold eyes understanding and kind, though there was a wildness in them, the scars on the right side of his face notwithstanding.

Nick followed the master, taking a small step after step, walking into the temple of the jedi training grounds on the planet Tython. When he looked from the outside the temple was already huge! What was in it? He did not yet know. When he came inside the huge stairs and doors could be seen, alot of rooms and big that the space was. It was great, to see such a big house to actually live in for him from now on or atleast that was what he was thinking, completely forgetting about what the jedirecruiter had promised him to call his parents. Yet he did away the cards back into his pcoket following further, listening to his master that told him their was just a little bit of homework, but that wouldn't be any time soon. Delighted, he felt gesturing with his hands over his head "Few..."

The boy listened more and more to hear that they were surely going to visit alot of planet aslong as it wasn't to dangerous. Since Nick was so young he did not yet look really much at the danger itself it was all fun since he could yet not see the danger of something clear yet, "I will be like using later on a Krayt Dragon as a Nuna pet! Yea, Then I will be teach it lots of tricks and be best friends and fight more big creatures to show them, I'm the super protector, and doing bad things will never be done anymore, since all creatures are then like really kind and protect people also from doing bad things." The boy said with the excited energetic voice while he still looked around with those shiny eyes walking sometimes away from his master with a little sprint to check around the corner of what is where.

They were getting further and further till Rhonun was telling the boy about to look around on the creatures of Tython, The boy nodded energetic, "Mhm, can we go soon!~" The boy questioned since he wanted to already start really badly. While the eyes looked straight into the one of the master, his bright green colored eyes which looked straight into the one of Rhonun which were amber gold colored.

Rhonun could not help but continue to smile and laugh with Nick's energetic and spirited display. If only the Force was fueled by childish enthusiasm, this boy woul probably be able to move entire planets. The thing that tickled Rhonun more than Nick's pure enthusiasm was his fantasy of taming a Kryat Dragon, one of the largest and ornery creatures Rhonun had ever seen. There was a reason the Djem So form was named after it.

"Let us put your things in your room, then we can go in to the forest and begin your first lesson." Guiding Nick around a few more corners, he brought the boy to his room. Waving a hand in front of the door, it slid open with the subtle hiss of hydraulics. It was standard Padawan quarters. Spacious enough to feel at home and to be comfortable, but it was no grand suite as far as size went. "Set your things down and grab whatever you wish to bring. I advise a coat or jacket; it can get cold at times." When Nick showed that he was ready to go, Rhonun motioned for the boy to follow as they backtracked to the entrance of the Temple. Descending the stairs, Rhonun led his Padawan in to the thick forest that surrounded the Temple.

"Mind your feet. I have tripped over my fare share of roots here." he cautioned kindly. Even if Nick did trip, he would learn to watch where he stepped in the future. There were some lessons that had to be learned through mistakes. Tripping and falling was one of the painless variants. Others had more costly, and occasionally permanent side effects. Rhonun unintentionally flexed his mechanical hand, thinking back to one of his hard-earned lessons.

After a several minutes of stepping through the brush, Rhonun lead Nick to the unofficial heart of this part of the forest. A waterfall he had visited frequently for training in meditation and focus. The water was fresh from the mountains, pure enough for even Nick to drink, so it was commonly visited by several kinds of animals. "Take a seat, Nick. Try and calm yourself. We don't want to scare the animals away before you can see them." Rhonun spoke in a hushed tone of voice, sitting himself down on the soft soil by the waterfall.

Della Frey often practiced her quiet maneuvers and test her speed in the forests of Tython. She was one of the quickest padawans and she was even more silent than the Cathar she now spied in the forest. He seemed to have a young boy with him. What did this mean? Was he showing the kid around? Come to think of it, Della did not often see such youngsters on Tython. It made her a little homesick.

Della was used to being in a large group of kids back on her homeplanet. They did everything together. They ate, they ran from predators, they slept, they dug holes. The bounds from childhood would last a child from Sacul through adulthood. But Della had been taken away from all that when she was kidnapped by the Sith. That seemed so far away now, just like the sound of her friends laughing seemed like a distant memory. How long had it been? One year, two years ago? This boy was not from Sacul, but he would feel homesick soon.

Della gave a hoot. It was a call that Rhonun would recognize. If he was willing to allow her to meet this boy, he would give some sort of signal.

laughing they both were the jediknight and his initiate leveled padawan. While Nick was being shown around the temple being brought straight over towards his own room, Just as he looked into it the room, he was pretty happy having a room for himself he placed some of his stuff and took an extra jacket with him. As they were going over towards the forest the kid was excited as it could be having a bright smile while looking with those big wide eyes over towards the whole place around him, just to be able to find out even more about the creatures around it. Birds, strange creatures wearing only a hide around there wraist called flesh raiders who were not really smart at all as he could see walking one against a tree with full impact "Thats a strange thing...He is an idiot" he though as they kept on walking further.

Just at a certain moment it was a given tip to him that he had to watch his step from now on for the roots, so the boy did. Just as he focused his eyes downwards to the ground instead also thinking about what is infront of him, the boy bumped with his head against the tree falling after that down on his butt, The kid started laughing even though the wound pretty much hurted, just because he had the biggest fun ever. He said, "Woops, need to look also infront of me" with a kind voice as he stood up continueing to walk after his master till they were at this beautifull open place. Creatures were calmly walking around and drinking from the lake at the mountain with the huge waterfall that makes the lake shine just, because of the water that falls onto the rocks and goes straight with the shining ray of the sun. He listened to his master since he had to be calm, he smiled and nodded, "Okay I will try" He said but then he heard a little noice, "Hey! No fake birdy noices.... No bird is like that.." The boy instantly reacted onto it since he had actually seen most of the birds and heard them which voices were a lot lighter and faster then this single one.

Rhonun heard the bird call and his ears twitched in response. Turning his head to its point of origin, a small smile spread across his face. He knew that call anywhere. Raising a hand, he waved Della over. He could not see her through the thicket, but he knew she was there. They had known each other for some time, and the two of them had grown very close over the years. "Come on, Della. You should know you never need to sneak around me." his smile broadened slightly as Della came in to view. It was time for introductions again, it seemed.

"Della, this is Nick Lirot. He is an initiate here, just arriving today. Nick, this is Della Frey, a very close friend of mine. You can trust her." He waited for them to get acquainted before dropping the bombshell, "He is my Apprentice." Rhonun watched the two of them, curious as to how she would react. He was aware that Della knew he was Knighted, she was present when it happened, but the fact that he had taken on an Apprentice so soon after his return to Tython may come as something of a surprise. For now, he watched, and prepared for what he expected to be a tidal wave of laughter and glee. Such was Della's way, especially with children.

Della laughed as she leapt into view. She dashed in a circle around Rhonun and Nick before approaching the pair to study them. Della began to allow her over-bearing mothering instincts to kick in. She was already at work making Nick's hair neat and picking lint off of the boy's clothing.

"I have never seen an initiate your age here. It's nice to see a young face. It reminds me of my home. You're quite the smart boy, aren't you?" Della laughed. Her joy was apparent and even someone as untrained as Nick could sense that Della was a ball of energy. Her joy could be overwhelming and it would rush over Rhonun and Nick like water. It was quite the sharp contrast to her ability to remain completely hidden. It was as if the Force compensated for Della's stealth with these bursts of energy.

"Have you eaten? Do you need rest?" Della continued to fuss over the boy.

Nick was looking over towards the direction the strange birdcall came from which he noticed before that it was a fake bird, from the bushes the female padawan came and dashed around him and his master. He felt a bit scared and stepped closer to Rhonun. All of a sudden, the woman appeared to be a human which was infront of him. She was working on his hair making it a whole other model while it was a bit Fuzzy, not spiked like normal.

He was bit shaking as she was making his clothing all clean again. She spoke with all kinds of things about him, but just a second before she was done with his clothing when he saw her being a bit to energetic, that the boy would hide behind his master again, "She's more scary then my sister." He said to his Rhonun as he looked up behind the back of him, looking up to the face as he said with a kind but shy voice, "My name is Nick, I'm nine.." As the boy kept staying behind Rhonun.

"Play nice, you two..." Rhonun chuckled again. He lost count how many times. Nick was a charming young boy in his own innocent way, very different than Rhonun when he arrived at the Temple and also quite different from Della when Rhonun first met her. Turning so that there was nothing between Nick and Della, Rhonun placed a hand on each of their shoulders, looking from one to the other. Finally, his eyes settled on Nick,

"Now is a good as time as any, so I will begin with this. As a Jedi, we face the most terrifying things the Galaxy has to offer. It is our duty to be courageous in the face of these scary things and not let them drive us away." Looking to Della with a smile, he continued, "Della is many things, but scary is not one of them. You will come to know that she is simply very affectionate. You will get used to her. I certainly did." He smiled at della again, his eyes flashing something different her direction than they had previously.

"Della, if you can manage keeping your hands to yourself, I am sure you could help me teach him about the creatures of Tython, as well as some tips on meditation? Would you like that, Nick?" He removed his hands from their shoulders, knitting his fingers together and resting them in his lap, "I promise she won't fuss over you too much. She is very motherly, is all."

"I'm sorry if I frightened you. I forgot how scary it can be to be in a new place. I have been very happy here for a long time, which is completely different than how I was when I arrived." She returned Rhonun's warm look with a nod. He was one of the first friends she made when she arrived. Della couldn't even understand Basic, yet Rhonun was able to communicate with her and help comfort her as she tried to grasp what she had been through. He helped teach her that she was safe under the Jedi. It would take many more months to learn learn Basic and make new friends, and the hardships Della already had to bear were great, but she was finally blossoming into her own unique Light.

This boy had a much happier arrival, it would seem. He did not bear the scars of a Sith captive, living as a street urchin, or as a feral beast fighting for survival. He was much different, and Della hoped his innocence would be long-lived before he had to face the terrible heartache that the Galaxy seemed to offer as nourishment for creation.

"Back home, children are taught how to run, hide, and use their tricks before they can even speak. But, I suppose meditation can be useful for these things. If you learn well, Nick, I will always offer you a song or a story of my people. Rhonun would agree that they are quite useful and there is always some sort of truth hidden in them. " Della said before sitting next to Rhonun and Nick.

"I am a padawan, so I can only offer so much help. But what I can say is that meditation allows us to be settled when there is excitement, and excite us when we are settled. It is many things to many people. But I think, that we should learn how it can settle us. For blessed are children who can be so still, that even the most sly of predators will take no notice of them." Della hoped she wasn't infringing on Rhonun's role as a Master. Though, she doubted that he would find her statements contrary, as long as she did not deviate too far into her personal beliefs of the Light.

"A very easy method to enter meditation is to breath slowly in while you are counting to four and then breathe out slowly while you count from five to eight. It's a cycle, you see. This helps clear a young, busy mind." Della said. She was very gentle, like a deer. Her large brown eyes were warm and tender. She was a padawan and had to overcome much for her abilities to compensate for being behind her peers, but she understood philosophies very well. Her mind was her strength, and her knowledge could at least point the boy in the right direction.

Nick nodded while he listened to Rhonun and Della, Della giving her apologie and Rhonun telling about overcoming some type of fears. He stepped forward and extended his height the boy said with a shy voice, "Can... can we start over... My name is Nick Lirot. Nice to meet you miss Della." The boy said slowly, while he was a bit shaking. As he was trying to overcome that single sort of fear? Or rather said shyness of himself. He kept on listening while he heard different birds and creatures all singing or making their own sound which made it sound like a song, A rythm.

He nodded once more while his inner self was getting calmer, just because of the enviroment and how his master and the girl was acting. Calmer and calmer the boy became, as it would as be felt, with the force that was. He would hear his master say and asked to Della to help Nick with finding out about different creatures which he maybe did not have on his cards and about some kind of meditation. The boy nodded kindly as he said, "Okay if miss Della promise not to act like my sis..." the boy smiled as he already made mental notes about the meditation since he had no clues on actually if he had to start or not yet.

Rhonun smiled and nodded his head in silent approval of Della and Nick accepting the terms he had laid. He was also quite pleased by Nick's eagerness to learn what he and Della had to teach. It was odd for Rhonun to be of a higher standing in the Order than Della now. He wondered if people found out, if they would tear them apart because of that difference alone. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, Rhonun cleared his mind, pushing such worries to the back of his mind, or out of his mind at all. Taking another breath, Rhonun centered himself just as his master had taught him.

"Now Nick, you need to find your center. Open your mind to the Force and, if you can, push out all distractions. Let the subtle rumble of the waterfall wash away all that upsets or perturbs you." Rhonun monitored his Padawan like a hawk would its chicks through the Force, watching Nick's progress, prepared to interject and give guidance should the boy need help. Once he reached a state of mind Rhonun deemed appropriate to begin, the Cathar Knight spoke up again, his voice soft and smooth as oiled leather, but holding its usual deep pitch.

"Very good." Rhonun gave Nick the appropriate praise after the boy acheived the first task he had been assigned. "Now, expand your senses all around you, slowly. Do not use your eyes, for there are those who may deceive them. Sense the life around you as you expand your consciousness. Choose one lifeform, if can be me, Della, or any of the numerous creatures around us, and study it. Use the Force to understand the world around you, in intimate detail." Once giving this direction, Rhonun went silent, already doing much of the same, his seated form floating a couple centimeters above the ground. He waited for Nick to either describe a life-form of his choice or ask Rhonun for guidance. Until then, Rhonun would watch with is mind's eye as the Force flowed through the boy.

Della gave a gentle nod to Nick. He was like herself when she first arrived, but this boy was still more brave than she was. Della was certainly more skittish than the boy when she came to the temple. Even now, Della tended to dart first, ask questions later.

Della did not join in meditation, instead she studied the boy and Rhonun together. She wondered how it would work out. It was certainly an odd mixture. Then again Sebastian Solborne, her own master, was quite the opposite. He was stoic, stone-face, and hard to understand. He could be intimidating and appear cold, but Della knew that the Knight had a heart filled with a white flame that could never die out. She had seen it in a vision herself.

Perhaps the pairing of opposites was how the Force brought balance. It used dualities to level the extremes and temper both student and teacher. Her thoughts turned to the stories of her people's creation and the lessons she learned of Bogan and Ashla. There were dualities everywhere. Della was not going to follow this road of thought right now.

Nick could hear the surroundings of the enviroment they were in, calm it surely was while the force rested peacefully on the whole planet. He rested his butt on the ground as he sat down with his legs overall crossed and his hands planted next to his body straight down. The boy listened to all the instructions that he was getting from his master and Della, trying to incorporate the tips into that meditation session. He closed his eyes slowly, starting to use the rythm of breathing, inhaling deep. "One...two...three...Four" he though as he exhaled, and instantly inhales when the air was gone. "I cant fail this...three... four.." As he did precisly the same again, "I will become a jedi..." The boy had in his mind as a sort of desperation, but also fear came forth in his thoughts since he had bad influence with the whole part of failing in something. The point of center he took was one of his own visions. He sat in the direction of the waterfall so he had a clear point to have his actual vision on which he could see one of the fishes swimming on the bottem of the lake.

He kept on staying pretty calm hearing that he got an motivational word from his master. After the time kept on going the boy slowly started to speak up, " A large hairy brown beast, crescant moon horns at the head, eyes completely black" The boy said just since he didn't want to fail he pushed his own ability to the max and took the time for it to be said. "It needs to be correct I don't want to fail I cant fail.." the boy kept on thinking after that.

"Do not distract yourself, young one. Failure is a natural process of learning." Rhonun sat and observed his student through for force, watching as the flowed moved through the boy. He had natural talent, and seemed to have an easier time with it than Rhonun did when he started. It was good to see the boy understand what Rhonun was instructing. While there was of course strain, it was not so great that Rhonun needed to intervene. It was like exercising any muscle - some strain and pain was required to make it stronger.

"What you described was an Unibeast. A docile creature for the most part, unless you threaten its young. Though, that can be said of most creatures in the galaxy, sentient or not. You did very good. Nick. take a moment to rest. Do not over-exert yourself. When you are ready, turn your attention inwards, on yourself. Study your body layer by layer until you reach the bone marrow. One cannot begin to understand others until they understand themselves." Rhonun waited for the boy to rest and then continue with the next step in his exercises.

Della gave a gentle smile. She was no longer needed here. Della gave a gentle grunt towards Rhonun, letting him know that she was going to take her leave now. Della was silent as she stood up, proud of Rhonun. Della gave a glance towards Nick. He was nervous. That would go away in time. Rhonun was a gentle teacher and he had a way of easing uncertain minds. Della was silent, making a sound only because it was necessary for the comfort of Nick or Rhonun.

"I will see you very soon." she whispered. With Nick in meditation, it would sound like a normal pitch in his ears. Della then stepped back into the forest, her footsteps did not even disturb the leaf litter. She had grown much since her own arrival and she could not wait to see Nick potential. Della was only a Padawan, but she could teach Nick the many habits of her people. There were lessons to be learned in even mundane tasks.

Nick could still have a grip on his innerself just to hear his master saying that mistakes are things to be made and that it was only natural. The time kept on going till the very moment that he was allowed to have a break, as he directly took it, standing up walking over at the water just to take a sip of it. He drinked some of the natural clear mountain river water, and sat back on the ground. He listened over towards the instructions which were given while he had in the back of his mind some thoughts about the unibeast but also the other creatures since there flow energy was so much different from eachother.

"Snap out of it, back to practicing" The boy thought while he closed up his eyes, trying to follow these instructions. This one was alot harder then the first task he had gotten. He closed his eyes and tried to feel the force within himself but, truly looking in himself he did not know how to do that. Was it an actual vision he should see of himself? A clone of himself infront of him who was showing off his inner parts organs and all of such things? He had absolutely no idea what to do. The boy tried to think and kept on going that for a while. The force was staying around him, the purity of the river and the nature, it made the boy calmer and calmer but also more peacefull, it made him think more clear then usual.

He did notice that it was not one of the smartest things, if mistakes were allowed to be made he opened his eyes and said, "Mister... Hmm Master..I dont really know how to do that" The boy said questionly looking over to him.
