The forest depth was warm, and harsh on the skin, and hair. However it was nothing short of what her home was most of the year, though it occasionally had a frozen winter day with snow that went past the waist. A "young" woman was standing out in the midst of the area, keeping to herself as her body was soaked down in a warm colored robe that covered up every inch of her face. However, she allowed her weapon to flow freely from her leg, attached to the very base of her cloth pants, and attached to her waist with a small string like object.

The force rippled in anticipation as its champion drew near. He had been in the forest for hours already, waiting for the girl who'd had the nerve to ask him for teaching personally. It was an impressive show of nerve, if nothing else. He was looking forward to practicing his tutoring skills once more: It had been a while since he had taught his brother the paths of the force.

His ship was not two miles north of where he was now. He sensed her presence the moment she arrived... It was satisfyingly receptive. So long as she was willing she would be taught anything she wanted, so long as Jairo consented. There were certain secrets he possessed that only friends would ever learn.

He was hooded and cloaked, as was his way when meeting someone he didn't yet trust. His face was concealed behind his usual fabric face-mask. He had left the more hostile visages back in Hinzer Haus - he was sure they wouldn't be needed. His twin artisan blades were concealed in their wrist sheaths as was usual, but he had left the spring loaded needle throwers unloaded. This was a peaceful encounter.

As he neared her force signature he caught site of her. He didn't wave, instead simply walking ever closer. He smiled beneath the mask he wore as he approached, but all she would be able to see were his steel-grey eyes.

The eyes of the Destroyer.

He would teach her all she asked for Nothing in return... All he waited for was her greeting.

"Hm, seems like your here now...." she spoke in a more neutralist tone then anything, her body not even moving as she spoke. Everything about her seemed strange, and easily vanishing. Even her eye's were soaked down in darkness, the only real show-able skin was her right hand.

"That I am. I'm here to teach you as asked of me... What is it you want to learn?"

His voice didn't seem to come from his body. Instead it rolled about the forest, detached from its source for some unknowable reason. Hopefully the girl would understand she was dealing with one of the most accomplished force users in the galaxy from that simple act, although he admitted it was unlikely. She would realise in time.

His hood fell from his face seemingly of its own accord, revealing half of his face at least. The jaw and nose were still obscured by the mask, but his hair was visible. He'd left it its natural dirty blonde - the dyes were unnecessary.

The eyes twinkled, and he waited for his reply.

"Simple to be honest, I want the basics of the force. I rather use just my blade, but you know. Those kinds of people want you to learn." she spoke quickly, and without change in her voice or the movement of her body. She kept her face well hidden for certain reasons.

It was as he expected. They were attracted to him like moths to a flame, each wanting a scrap of his power to call their own. Parasites mostly, weaklings to be culled. Jairo felt like taking a punt on this one... She more potential than the rest.

"As you wish. Describe to me what you already know of the force that surrounds us all... I will build upon your prior knowledge and make you strong."

"Hm, I know nothing to be honest. The most I'm able to do is the occasional small moving, the trick to hide your nature with the force, and I can feel the emotions of others." she seemed collected in a entire nature. She was balanced in emotion, and had perfect control of what she was doing. Even her weapon shared her interest, and was treated as a last resort. She wasn't the most physically powerful person, but she was intelligent.

The dark figure considered this for a moment before replying. He was faced by a complete novice of the arts: A blank canvas upon which he could create another masterpiece. Beautiful.

Gathering force energy to him, he played a fraction of power across his hand. It manifested as a tiny spark of lightning that jumped and arced across his fingertips at his behest. Another tiny show of power, and another twinkle in the eyes to go with it.

"Focus on the force around you. Draw in the raw power available, meditate if you must. You will first become adept at all forms of telekinesis, the most common of all force applications. When you are ready, do what I do."

Five paces beyond the girl was a sizeable log, fallen from a nearby tree. It was old, moss was growing over it and it looked heavy. A suitable first task.

Effortlessly Jairo lifted it into the air using naught but his mind, raising it fully ten metres above the ground before lifting it over their heads and beyond to a metre of so behind them. He let it drop slowly, a controlled descent.

"When you feel you're ready, try to put that log back."

"Hm, that's it? That's easily done." she spoke in a confident but still toneless notion. The "young" woman had moved her hand out slowly just above her waist, before squeezing down on her fingers to "create" a generative field of energy between her, and the log. She had done this many times before due to her specialized style of saber battling. She was forced to return, and bring the weapon into certain area's using this natural ability. Then her large amount of mental ability came into play, as she began by slowly lifting her hand up from her waist-line. Using this motion to move the log up very slowly from it's resting place. Thought not far up in the air, but enough to show she had some control.

"You find this task demeaning? Childish, even? Very well. Blast the log to smithereens, if you'd be so kind..."

He waited a moment, knowing she would be unable to before unleashing his own power at the log she held. It was pulverised into splinters, and all he had done was conjure a telekinetic wall of energy. Childsplay to him, possibly a difficult move for her. He was still testing her.

"If lifting the log is no trouble, surely you can annihilate one too? Try one... Any will do. Or is that too much? Can't you do it?"

He was speaking a little faster now, but he hadn't raised his voice. He wasn't angry at her arrogance... More amused. Her next answer was important.

"Easily done. I will annihilate a log." she spoke out once more keeping her calm tone of voice, suddenly she had turned her back to him, and rushed forward to a small tree. Even though was untrained she was at a much faster speed then most even attempted during their younger years. She had been dealt a hand which required this kind of ability. Quickly she reached the ideal tree she was wanting to attack, without so much as a notice. She had drawn her weapon, a warm colorless light saber. It flickered from her wrist within seconds, and she in turn had used it in sheer moments. During her move, she had turned back to face him. Her weapon planted into the tree, with a quick strike. It was lodged directly in the middle of it. "Not everything needs the force."

The "young" woman's lightsaber pulled itself from the tree and into Jairo's waiting hand without so much as a sign of displeasure for a warning. He flicked it off, examining the hilt. He was no longer looking at her, instead occupied with her weapon.

"You are unarmed. Destroy another tree, with the force this time. Push it down. Do not play games with me again..."

Her first and last warning. Ice had never been so thin... It appeared she needed to learn respect as well.

"So displeased because I did what you asked but differently then you wanted? Then I guess, just using my fist is out of the question now hm?" she had let out a bit of a childish tone before she caught herself, and brought back her normal cold state. Without as much as a word or a notice of action, she twisted her body around, and brought up both hands into a thrusting motion. It nearly instantly reacting with a burst of energy from her hands, in the form of a small shock wave against the nearest tree. Quickly shaking it, as it tilted over a little.

Nothing ignored the questions - it wasn't relevant to her advancement. She had narrowly avoided his wrath as it was, complying only when he'd asked the second time. He didn't feel like setting her up for a second and final transgression.

Once she had successfully pushed the tree somewhat he tossed her blade back to her. She was over-reliant on it... He balanced his own fighting style between equal skills in both the force and the blade. He was a consummate master of Ataru, and utterly devastating when it came to the force. There few in the entire galaxy that could withstand him.

He knew. He'd already destroyed Death.

However... If the blade was what she desired to perfect, then he was not going to impose balance upon her. She would want to know to augment her abilities through the force, enhancing her duelling capabilities as much as she could. His knowledge of Ataru meant he knew well the advantages of force use in a saber duel... She had chosen her teacher well.

"Better. You rely upon the material too much, but I sense your wish to continue doing that and it isn't my place to tell you otherwise. I will help you realise your potential with the blade... Will you learn to enhance yourself or destabilise your opponent first?"

"You think I rely on material more then my own ability? I do not use this weapon because I need it. My entire body is my weapon, my hands, and my feet can all face both a saber, and a user of the force without weakness. I simply desire to increase my ability with my own weapon, and body. My mind is nothing less then sharp, I simply choose to disallow my own self to learn such arts because of my past. I do not find that I need to learn them, when I can simply learn to defeat them with equal force." she kept herself in a controlled state of pattern with her words, as her weapon was returned to her. She had no reason to take it, she wasn't reliant on it as much as most might think. She rather avoid the fight, but at times it was unable. Without much movement, she motioned her fingers as the blade flew towards her at a hastened speed. It landing easily in her hand, as the blade immediately emerged, and then dissipated as quickly as it appeared.

He smiled beneath his mask. He knew how to teach her... It had taken some manoeuvring but now he was sure. His cloak shed itself, crumpling on the loamy floor about his feet. Underneath was a simple white Jedi robe. Visible beneath was a black undershirt. The arms of the garment covered his wrist sheaths completely - they were still unnoticeable.

"If what you say is true, you can strike me. I am all of the things you are able to defeat... So defeat me. Once you have proven you can I will believe you."

He took a step forwards into a general ready stance, not giving away his form.

"Strike me."

"I'll make this quick then." she spoke loud enough for him to hear her, she made her move as she began by slowly walking forward towards him. Her boots suddenly making a impacted sound against the ground as she made her way towards him, then suddenly picked up a much quieter sound as she began to hasten her movement up greatly. Eventually to the point her body let out a blurry look, within range. She suddenly moved her hand up, and tossed out the hilt of her weapon towards him before pulling herself back, and moving her hand out towards him to enhance the throw to a greater level of power.

As the hilt left her fingertips, she was facing a statue. As the hilt flew towards her target, her target was a statue. Just before the unlit blade’s length would have impaled his chest (if it had been ignited) the statue became an opponent.

An opponent with decades of experience and all the skill in the world to back him up.

Sidestepping, the Destroyer calmly moved his body out of the hilt’s path, slapping it away with the force much more powerfully than he had taken the blade from her grasp. The hilt spun away quite a distance before getting lost in the undergrowth. He would keep a weather eye for her trying to be reunited with it, for her wish to do so would merely prove his point all the more.

But he wasn’t done yet. He wasn’t even half done. She would learn the mistake she had made by being arrogant in the presence of Judgement itself.

She had withdrawn after the throw, but her sudden change of direction would have unbalanced her, even if it was just by the tiniest fraction. That was all he needed. He took two long strides to close the distance between the pair of them in an instant, before unleashing a second blast of force energy, this one more than powerful enough to send the “young” acolyte sprawling and gasping for air. With his other hand (the one not using the force) he readied yet another assault, to either pile on the pressure or fend the girl’s blade away once more, depending upon her reaction.

Provided, of course, she wasn’t flying through the air with every last morsel of arrogance crushed from her along with her breath.

"Not bad...but..." she let out a bit of a blended chuckle as she quickly drew her hands apart, the blade itself seemed to break into dozens of pieces as they moved around him at the last moment to avoid his attempt of pushing it away. Soon, she had closed her hands back in at the moment of his running attempt against her. She had no real way to defend it, but had already brought in her plan from moments ago into action. She allowed the first hit to push her away, and slid her against the ground enough to force the lose of control with her blade. "Come on....-coughs-...you can do better then that!" she continued with her aggressive taunting for various reasons. One was reading him, she had started to catch on to how he performed each action so that she could mimic it later on if needed. He might have had the power on her, but she had the advantage with intelligence, and planning. She even had a ace in the hole.

Jairo's quiet laughter filled the glade in which they sparred, permeating the space beneath the boughs despite its volume. His voice was inexplicably easy to hear when he wanted it to be... Something he'd learned courtesy of his own private libraries. They really were quite an asset, an asset still only partially explored.

He was laughing because she was doing well, and he was pleased for her. Admittedly he had limited himself to using only the least harmful of his techniques and was avoiding using his blades, but she was exceeding his expectations nonetheless.

Perhaps her arrogance was not completely without cause.

As she hit the floor and came at him with nothing but another taunt he smiled beneath his mask, still laughing to himself. His natural instinct was to unleash Destruction against her, to smash aside whatever defence she may have been able to conjure and obliterate her existence in a matter of moments. He resisted it: He didn't want to kill her, he wanted to train her.

Gesturing with his left hand, he brought a large tree crashing down, pulling up its roots with effortless grace. He directed its falling mass at her, so that if she did not move or otherwise repel the tree she would be crushed beneath it. Her blade would not have saved her in this instance, and that was the point he was now quietly making. It was her choice to see it or to ignore it.
