Meetra Zenik was a human journalist from Coruscant. She began her career covering local politics, but eventually graduated to covering the New Republic Senate and the Galactic Senate for The New Republic: a HoloNet media outlet based on her homeworld.

Biography

Meetra Zenik was born in the lower levels of Coruscant to a middle-class family struggling to make it due to their homeworld's dilapidated state. As a teenager, she gained an interest in politics, briefly considering a future career in the Senate before falling in love with journalism. She attended the University of Coruscant as a young woman and graduated with her journalism degree, initially covering small, local politics. Her work was good enough to score her a job as a journalist and reporter for The New Republic media outlet in the Federal District.
