"Now I know the full power of evil.
It makes ugliness seem beautiful and goodness seem ugly and weak.”

-August Stirndberg, The Dance of Death

IMGresize.jpg

"Every Jedi seems to look upon the world as if things are simple, as if everything is set in stone. To them, things are either good or evil, acceptable or unacceptable. Well. If doing what I want means I’m evil, then so be it. I enjoy what I do.”

Age: 26
Faction: Sith
Rank: Acolyte/ Sith Major
Gender: Male
Species: Elomin
Force Sensitive: Yes.
Lightsaber form:Form IV

Appearance:
Melhi is a prime example of a youthful Elomin. He has dashing features with a lithe and slightly taller body than the average Elomin with a height of 5’4” and a weight of 128 pounds. His skin is a light brown color that leans more to being red. His oval eyes have a red glow to him and the black hair behind his ears is silky and tied back into a simple knot so that no one can see it if they are looking straight at him. He has three scars on the right side of his face that tarnishes him, causing him to dislike the random look they leave on his face as all Elomin are vain and Melhi is no different. It was only in his early childhood that he lived on Elom, so he doesn’t wear anything traditional to his home world other than a necklace or carved raw Lommite on a thin chain that his father gave him just before he left. What he wears now is traditional Sith garb that he has altered with some durasteel armor.

Personality:
Surprisingly, Melhi is not a generally pessimistic person, and has a good outlook on the world, that is, for a sith. For a jedi perhaps Melhi would probably be pessimistic as his definition of a good out-look on life has to do with everything that they see as evil, but he is a glass-half-full kind of guy, rather than a glass-half-empty one. He is also rather patient. However, this does not make him more approachable than other sith; he is sarcastic, stuborn and as cold, blood-thirsty, and power-hungry as any sith. Also, as a negative being so patient and watchful has made him secretive and suspicious of others (so much so that he didn’t even bother telling his master about his past until he was about to kill him because of the information he had gathered from him).

As an Elomin, of course he is vain, but he manages to keep that in check so that he does not seem to be self-centered; however, he is concerned with being able to pamper himself every now and again even with what he calls his disfigured face. He is also eager to learn from more experienced Sith than his previous master, though if he finds a certain subject boring he will make it clear, even if it means he will be punished.

Strength: 5.5/10
Melhi’s strength is just about average. Raised in the mines, he would have become very strong, but he was taken away by the Jedi before he had the chance to, so thus, his strength is what he has learned through life, merely making himself strong enough for his abilities.

Dexterity: 9/10
With his lithe body Melhi is extremely agile and it is something it takes pride in, as it has gotten him out of many scrapes. (Usually because his enemies get worn out from his jumping around.)

Constitution: 7/10
Melhi’s health is above average, but not perfect. His species in itself is a healthy one, if you’re not you wouldn’t survive the harsh climate (especially if your family worked in the mines).

Intelligence: 8/10
Very much above average in the mechanics of Droids, every type of ore you can fine on his planet (and what you can make from them), and learning everything he can about the force, and sith powers. But in other things he can be incredibly dull, like star charts; He has no interest in learning about planets, or directions or, for that matter thing that are taught in general education. What he is intelligent in has to interest him, or he will merely wave it off saying that it is “boring.”

Wisdom: 6/10
As he is still young, Melhi doesn’t have much wisdom. He is logical, but still can make many mistakes (although when he does he hates himself for it).

Charisma: 4/10
He is not a very charming person, and does not even attempt to be. If he wants something from someone lesser than him he will take it, and if it is someone greater than him he will begrudgingly attempt to be charming and gracious but he is not very good at it. He prefers to be the foreboding figure in the corner whilst someone else does the talking.

Strengths:
- Disciplined, and an eager learner (for things that he has interests in.)
- A large amount of patience. He will wait for, what is in his mind, the perfect moment to act. He enjoys watching and waiting.
- Imagination with dealing with blueprints for different droids, and sometimes modifications for his ships. However, sometimes his imagination gets the better of him.

Weaknesses:
-Being messy with his kills. Sometimes he uses daggers rather than his lightsaber. It depends on if he thinks the person deserves to be killed by something he uses the force with or not.
- Has a very high expectation for every sith. This lead him to the extermination of his master and his crew, and will lead him to insult others if they do not live up to them.
- As an Elomin he is plagued by the species’ natural vanity, and a compulsive need to find order and cleanliness in things that these things sometimes cannot be found.
- Being too picky about what he wants to learn. This has left him proficient in many things by severely weak in many other subjects.
Skills:
- A natural ability to reprogram and modify droids.
- Assassination
Force Skills:
Mostly moderate skills with an above average concentration on movement related to assassination and Sith Alchemy. A specific skill he has become proficient in is Mechu-deru. Since being in the Sith Imperium he has pushed himself to become strong in sabers.

Gear:
- Durasteel armor that he removed from some of the droids he worked with and modified it to fit his body.
- Throwing daggers.
- A long durasteel dagger.
- A Gas-mask
- Two Lightsabers, the green one he gained at the Jedi Temple (it is small as it was made for children to use), and the red one he took from his Master.
- A necklace with a lommite charm. (picture to come soon.)

Ship: A two-person fighter. (picture to come soon.)

Droids: A Mechu-deru modified Interrogator and Assassin Droid (picture to come soon.)
Biography:

Years he had been on this ship learning everything he could from all the members of the crew whilst working amongst them as the Captain Quoto’s sith apprentice. For years he had been gathering information and biding his time, all the while knowing that Quoto was not truly a sith… at least not any more. Now it looked like it was finally time to go about his plan. They were finally near enough to Korriban again that he wouldn’t have to navigate very far to get to it. Oh, how he hated navigation but this would be for his betterment.

“All these years and you haven’t told me. What’s your story, my apprentice?” The man didn’t even turn to look at the twenty-five year old who walked into his office unannounced.

Melhi was a little taken aback by his master’s question, causing him to pause with his daggers in his hands, ready to throw. After all these years of training a boy of mysterious origins, now was the time that he wished to know his past? Melhi found it amusing that this would be their last conversation. Quoto wanted to know about him, and he could find no reason to deny him. After all, in a matter of minutes, Quoto would be on the floor in a bloody mess. He slipped his throwing knives back into their places quickly and nodded to his master. ‘This will be your last gift from me master.’

“You want to know about me? Very well I suppose you deserve an explanation, but I assure you, compared to some stories that you can find mine is not that interesting.” As he started into his story Melhi said this to possibly deter his master from wanting to know about him. All he wanted was to get this bloody business done with, but his master was stubborn about these sorts of things and turned to stare at his horned apprentice awaiting his story.

“ I suppose you can say I had an average childhood up until I was found by a group of Jedi. My family worked in the Lommite mines just outside of the A'driannamieq Mountains on Elom. Everyone was very hard workers, and by the time I was five years old, I was already helping out in the mines. However, many thought me to be strange because I had taken a liking to some strange abilities I had to work with some of the droids that we used in the mines with us. I liked tinkering with them. A surprising Jedi envoy came to our village when I was seven—“

“Why was it surprising?” The curious imbecile asked, causing Melhi’s anger to flare.

‘Don’t interrupt old fool.’ He was tempted to hiss, but he was putting up a front for the old Sith, but he went on. “It was surprising because no one in our village had seen anyone from the outside in a long while. There was never really a need for anyone to come because we shipped out our Lommite to other villages so that they could deal with the others wanting to buy it. The society I was raised in was a private one. We disliked outsiders. Anyway, this envoy inspected some of the things we had been doing in the mines. Apparently someone had told them that we had been doing something wrong and while they were in the area they wanted to check it out. Of course, we weren’t actually doing anything wrong, but one of the Jedi masters took a liking to me and asked my parents to think about if they would mind letting them take me to the Jedi Academy before they left for a while to take care of what they had actually come to Elom to deal with. Of course, my parents did mind. Strangers wanted to take away their oldest child. However, losing their oldest child was fine since my two younger siblings didn’t have their heads in the clouds and wanted to work in the mines rather than tinkering around with droids. So, when the Jedi returned a few days later, my parents gave me to them.

“Being given to strangers frustrated and confused me, as like everyone else, I thought strangers were bad things. However, the Jedi did their best to change that in me while I was with them. Learning from the Jedi was an excellent experience, the force intrigued me and I enjoyed learning how to use it. However, I could not do the emotionless life that they would have liked me to live. I cherished what they taught me, but not being able to revel in the enjoyments of life was tormenting and I left when I was thirteen.

“Leaving was hard, I had to hide from the masters and all of them are adept in sensing those with the force. I was almost caught a few times but eventually I managed to stow away on your ship. However, by the time that the ship passed through the atmosphere I had been caught and was being dragged up to you, the Captain of the ship. However, being moderately trained in Jedi arts, I did manage to harm a few of my captors before they overpowered me. It was gratifying to learn later, that many of them had been trained in some manor of the force; that they had not just been simple men who overpowered me. Anyway, back to when I was being dragged up to you.

“Admittedly, I was in awe. You not only looked powerful, but it radiated off of you and I could see that you instilled fear in the members of the crew. You, took me on as your apprentice, I suppose because you saw that I had managed to hurt a few members of your crew, and well, you could since the force in me. From there on you know what happened. You taught me, and I eagerly learned, and eventually you began to use me as a mechanic and assassin for those merchants not following your orders. That is… until now…”

Now. Now was the time too strike. While his master had been listening he had once again turned away from his apprentice. Each hand took three of his deathly sharp throwing daggers, and he aimed and didn’t hesitate as he threw. Quoto was just another victim to add to his list.

“Melhi! What’s this!?” The sith shrieked as the daggers dug themselves into his flesh, turning to look at the boy he had been training for so many years, hurt evident in his eyes as he fell to his knees, Melhi pouncing on him his longer dagger raised.

“You’ve outweighed your usefulness, old man.” Melhi’s voice was unforgiving, cruel in every manor of the word. “To be completely honest, I’m surprised that you and your vagabond sith crew have never been found by the true sith. Yes… I’ve known for a while that you’re not truly a real Sith, master Quoto. Don’t look so shocked. I read up on the history. You’ve never taken me to Korriban, or anything related to the Sith Imperium!”

Quoto opened his mouth to retort, but he couldn’t find the words to deny what his apprentice had found out about him. It was indeed true that in many ways he had abandoned the sith way of life for an average thugs life, and he was indeed ashamed of that. This was the way to go, at the hands of an apprentice. He opened his mouth to apologize, but was cut off.

“Hush…” Melhi placed one long finger atop Quoto’s lips, patted the face of the master he had once admired then plunged his blade into his heart. He didn’t want to hear any of Quoto’s explanations anymore. Quoto didn’t deserve to die like a Sith. He deserved to die painfully, and without the force.

The ship was in an uproar after Melhi murdered Quoto. Many of the members of the crew immediately wanted to follow him, while others were outraged. But he didn’t care, he had gotten what he wanted and therefore that part of his life was all over. The ship that he had been working on for years had no interest to him, in fact he found it boring. It wasn’t like his droids or the speeder his master had given him. So, after rigging the ship with explosives he left and headed to Korriban to join the true Sith even if it would mean having to join them as an Acolyte.

- Ichabod Jayce, Darth Asmodeus: Met him when he was helping Darth Umbra teach his first class at the academy, and then again when he was the head of the a mission that he took part in. He considered Ichabod, who is now a Darth, to be a great Sith and would like to work with him more.

- Thaed, Darth Silentius: Melhi's first master that he was officially an apprentice to. Considers the man to be very powerful, and only wishes really to please the man currently so that he doesn't forfeit his life. Of course... he does have his own goals in the end.

- Oonoo: Second teacher that he has had at the academy, who took over for Darth Umbra. He is rather... strange.

- Ruthric Segra, Darth Umbra (deceased): First teacher that he had at the academy. He was an interesting man and an inspiration to Melhi while he lasted. Now that he had been killed, Melhi thinks no more of him than he would a bug, though he would admit that it was a pity to have lost such a man.

- Phili'p: Takes a lot to creep Melhi out, and Melhi can say that this Sith creeps him out. He's too empty feeling.

- Snikch Hettoran: His first meeting with this Sith left a sour taste in his mouth that Melhi didn't think would ever be removed from it, but during their second mission together, and the duel that came after it, Melhi has finally decided that Snikch is an excellent Sith. He considers Snikch to be the closest thing he could ever come to having a 'friend'.

- Arcturus D. Wolfgang: Sith met during his first mission. Dislikes him, but he finds him interesting.

- Desmond Trin: Boy he met in his first class at the academy. Doesn't care much for him.

- Drenn Kerstasus: Interesting young, and rather raw acolyte that Melhi was paired up to fight in the acolyte tournament. He's skeptical about the child's ability, but he's looking forward to seeing what the kid can do in the future. The kid has a lot to learn.

- Ajtony, JEDI: Met during mission to Sarka. Will kill on sight.
- Tsume, JEDI: Met during mission to Sarka. Will kill on sight.
- Nuala, JEDI: Met during mission to Sarka. Will kill on sight.
