Hey forum ^.^ What's happening?
My name is Mike. I'm a 19 year old guy from Canada, just home from my first year at university at the University of Ottawa. I'm criminally lazy, and a huge procrastinator, so summer life is treating me pretty good XD. I'm also a total night-owl. It's 1:00 AM at the time of typing this, and I have no intention of going to bed any time soon :P I'm almost impossible to upset, just a fun-loving guy in a generally happy mood ^.^
I'm also somewhat childish, but not in the sense of whiny/annoying I like to hope =) It's more that I'm just close to my inner child lol. Basically It means that I keep a very loose reign on my emotions, and I still treasure time spent in childish pursuits such as drawing and roleplaying The Lion King. I've been an active member of a Lion King forum for the last year, and a staff member there for the last few months.
My history on internet forums is quite something looking back on it, and my interests are so diverse that sometimes I wonder if I have multiple personality disorder =P I first signed up to a forum about six or seven years ago. It was the StarWars.com forums, and couldn't have been a bigger debacle. I had no idea how to act on the internet and I was quickly banned for behaving like a three year old. Since then I (like to think that I) have matured. I've passed through an Inheritance forum, lead a Runescape based clan, and most recently been a part of a Disney's Lion King forum, where I'm still very active today. I don't expect that I'll be devoting my full energies here, seeing as I'm kind of bad at staying active on more than one or two forums at once, but I hope that I can still enjoy myself now that I've returned to my StarWars loving roots.
I heard about this forum from my good buddy Hakim, I know him as Jiang or Ji. He was one of my role-models and influences in Role-playing when I first started out. I've been role-playing for a little over a year, but as I play mostly in the TLK fandom area, (where relationships and character development are the almost unique focus of RPing) the concept of roleplaying battles/duels in detail is still new to me =3. Reading through the "Cheeze" and "True Cheeze" sections of the rules was an educational experience, and I hope that the fact that I'm new to this doesn't shine through in glaring detail in my posts.
I've posted quite enough though for now, but I'd like to say that This forum has already impressed me with it's attention to lore, while still allowing for incredible creativity in the beloved Galaxy Far-Far Away. Cheers guys =) Can't wait to meet you ^.^
