Ms. Errat was born and raised on the industrial planet of Balmorra to Silas and Vira Errat, two workers at one of the planet's numerous factory districts. Having grown up around industrial equipment, air pollutants and even the occasional chemical spill may be the reason Ms. Errat has shown such aptitude for hazardous environment deployments.
Her grades at Sobrik Public Primary Schools are middling at best, with many teachers noting that they suspected her problem was a lack of interest/motivation. This carries through to her later educational career, with the additional note of concern about her lack of sleep due to working night shifts at the factory. There were two exceptions to her low grades, these being anything requiring physical activity or solving complex puzzles, which she took to with glee.
At age 15 Ms. Errat was legally able to join the work force and did so to help support her ailing parents. Balmorran records indicate movement between departments and companies to be fairly frequent, often staying in one position for only a few months and her longest stint at a single company barely two years.
at age 21 Ms. Errat was working in a chemical plant when she met a GAR recruiter in her of shift hours. The next morning she was shuttled off world to start her basic training. See Psychological profile for both stated and inferenced reasons for such a quick decision.
After the standard two months of basic training, in which her scores saw marked improvement from those at SPPS, now PFC. Errat was assigned to 929 Mudjumpers. After arriving PFC. Errat saw numerous skirmishes with pirate, renegade, and exile forces in two separate campaigns. Her commanding officer having noted great fighting skill, spirit and quick mind assigned her a squad leader position and the rank of Corporal.
Cpl. Errat continued to serve with the 929 until an immediate rebuild of the 187th Chem Dogs was ordered for an upcoming push into industrial worlds. By dint of being a former factory worker and exemplary soldier she was reassigned to the rebuilt unit, who's previous iterations had a reputation for a high casualty rate. This reputation proved to be continued and many sucomned to both enemy fire and extremely hazardous environments. Cpl. Errat was soon given a field promotion to Sergeant to fill a gap left my a mortar round and is noted to have deftly taught anyone she could everything she knew of surviving harsh conditions.
By the end of the campaign Srgt. Errat was left in nominal command of a platoon and was also acting company Sergeant. Having seen how well she handled these leadership positions her CO recommended and immediate promotion to First Sergeant, if not command school.
With the reorganization of the GAR into the Judicial forces Ms. Errat elected to change with it and attend the command school on Chandrilla. Again her scores were good, but not quite outstanding, and a disciplinary mark almost ended her career two months before graduation. But graduate she did and Lieutenant Errate was handed her first command assignment and shipped out.

Lt. Errat has earned many commendations and citations for courage under fire and keeping a cool and focused head in combat. Almost every one of her direct commanders have mentioned this in their reports, often stating she posses a quick mind and gets very focused on her objective. Though some could claim that last remark to be a negative, as her tunnel vision has lead her squad into an ambush on at least one occasion. Though after this incident while extreme focus is still noted there have been no recorded repeats of irresponsibility in the field.
Off the field of battle and on what leave has been allowed her in the past it would almost seem that Lt. Errat was an entirely different being. Notes for slobbish appearance, multiple brawls, and once verbally assaulting an admiral are prevalent. Previous commands have remarked that once out of the stress of combat Lt. Errat defaults to a carefree and often playful state, and playful is often physical.
At the Chandrilla command school this behavior seemed to cease, until two months before graduation where Lt. Errat is noted to have arranged a swoop jousting competition that nearly got her expelled. The only thing that saved her career was the fact that each of the participants were the ones in her class with the lowest piloting marks, and had shown at least marginal improvement on their next test. the incident was marked as an "impromptu training exercise" and Lt. Errat was docked a month's pay. Though some would say her chances at serious or notable command have been permanently hampered.
