Vel'ku was, needless to say, unhappy with being placed as the one picking out which ship she and Mr. Bright would be leaving in.
She didn't know which were faster then which. An A-Wing was the fastest ship but wouldn't carry the armament he stated he needs. Anything under 100 metric ton wouldn't do.
After beating herself over what kind of ship would be needed she finally deduced what all she'd like in the ship and walked step by step with Mr. Bright next to her. Hopefully they could just find a fitting ship and leave.
A ship caught her gaze that reminded her of an Imperial ship, but wasn't. She attempted to laugh at the thought of using it, but was not about to try.

She was specifically on the search for Corellian Engineering Corp ships. Vel'ku knew those ships well and loved every one of them.
"I prefer the YT ships, so if we could find one of those. Most all of the YT ships are fast and carry 100 metric tons or more." Vel'ku paused from her current position and pulled out Kickee.

"Hey sweet. Sorry for being harsh earlier." the runt nuna just looked at her with beaded eyes and didn't seem happy with her, for obvious reasons. "Want to help find a ship?" the small nuna had traveled with Vel'ku for awhile now wasn't the brightest creature, but he was pretty good at finding things.

The fact she was employed at the moment to a guy who was the head of some rebel army was interesting to her, much easier then she imagined as well. Things sure were looking a bit brighter though a dirty window. She had to prove herself now though and pick a good ship. If it had flaws, Vel'ku only needed parts to fix the problem.

The shipyard had much to offer, but it was just a matter of finding the right offer to obtain their goal.

((This RP takes place on and around Kuat. It will focus on Sineike's and my characters illegal obtaining a ship and fleeing the system. If this plot interests anybody that thinks they could fit in, feel free to join. A run-in with a bounty hunter or the likes would certainly make things a bit interesting.))

A new journey awaits us.

Letting his large, crystal-like blue eyes danced in and out of the rows of ships lining the impressive docking bay, Casval continued forward through the crowds of customers and ship owners alike. As he advanced through the mess of humans, the Imperial couldn't help but marvel at the thought that the entire planet was like this. Untouched by the horrors of the Sith, these people could live indulged and care free. In his weaker moments he envied them; however those were short lived and died almost instantly. He lived with the truth. Despite how horrible that truth was, he would choose it every time over the ignorance these people enjoyed so heavily. For the truth allowed him to be prepared. If he was ready he could avoid heart ache and pain. If Kuat ever became the subject of the Sith's tyranny, he didn't even want to imagine the amount of suffering that would be had here.

Hearing his companion's voice, the former Knight snapped out of his thoughts and once more became aligned with reality. "I own two YT-2400 freighters myself. They're reliable ships. They're fast and can be heavily modified for nearly any purpose. Very good. It seems your knowledge of ships isn't feigned after all." Pleased, he looked over to the girl who was now pulling out a pet or some sort and smiled.

Although he wasn't sure if he could consider himself such, Casval was a good leader. He knew what it took to encourage those under them and make them want to follow him. You couldn't praise them too much, else they became arrogant and relunctant to follow orders; however a small amount of praise at good works went farther than any hyperdrive could go.

"Your pet?" Casval asked, a bit of curiosity and interest mingled in his tone.

Vel'ku looked up to him and nodded once at Casval. Though, she felt more like she was Kickee's pet. She looked around and put Kickee on the floor, away from much the bustle of the people.

"Mr. Bright, do you imagine there might be a 2000 here?" Vel'ku asked him, not sure if there would be or not, but hopping there would be.

She could see multiple ships everywhere, but she couldn't see off first glance if there were any decent YT-2000. The people all seemed to enjoy the ships. Vel'ku wondered what Casval's grand idea was to get one of these ships without causing too much hassle or attention.

"An excellent question indeed." Quietly speaking, he thoughtfully nodded his head, as he stared ahead. Although his eyes roamed between the various ships, he wasn't really looking at them. His mind had wandered off to the upcoming disasters the galaxy would soon find itself in. It was hard to think that such times were upon them. It infuriated him to no end knowing that there were those out there that sought only destruction. It was that fact about the Sith that angered him so much. Well that and the fact that they were trying to kill him of course. That didn't exactly make him want to become buddy-buddy with them.

"You said that you're able to slice and hack." Casval said matter-of-factly, breaking the silence. "Can you gain access to a ship's transponder code and see who the registered owner is?"

Vel'ku got a wicked smile that caused Kickee to waddle to Casval and curl up behind his boot. "Is that all you want me to do?" she couldn't erase her smile, she couldn't even try. It was simply futile.

Being herself and having absolutely no life; she figured how she could take their name off and put someone else as the registered owner of a ship or droid. She raised a brow at Kickee and he removed himself from his hidden spot.

Vel'ku knelled down and whispered softly, "Find us a nice YT." she had pulled out a sweet treat for the smelly little guy. His mouth agape with his lower jaw moving frantically in want of the treat. Vel'ku's smile was still there, but not as big as it had been, she held her hand out with the sweet treat and Kickee barely had the treat on his tongue before he had it swallowed and was off in search of a YT ship.

Taken aback - and a little scared - of this sudden show of emotion, Casval's eyes instinctively widened, as he drew back a few inches. As soon as the surprise had occurred however, Casval partially dismissed it and regained his composure.

"I was thinking we would find out the name of the ship's owner, masquerade as him, and then leave the system with flight control nonethewiser." Closing his mouth, he glanced over at his new companion, curious to see what insights she had to offer the roughly patched plan.

She actually laughed at him for a moment, not too sure why exactly. "Or, I could just change it to where you are the owner and we get out of here. I'm not into the whole, killing the ship owner or holding him hostage or anything. . ." she stood next to Casval and waited for their small nuna friend to arrive with news of if there was or was not a YT ship in the area that she could make theirs.

"You don't yet understand me, but I'm sure one day you will. I have no desire to harm innocent people. Now although taking another person's ship indirectly harms them, I'm sure the galaxy at large would appreciate my using it to stop the Sith as opposed to the owner's personal uses of it." Turning to face her, he looked deep into her eyes as if trying to peer into the depths of her being. "If your skills will allow it, then by all means that's what we will do."

Kickee returned ten minutes later, victory in his small bark-like sounds. Vel'ku nodded and pulled Casval's hand as means for him to follow, shortly after there she was.

YT-2000 in decent condition and with a silver-like paint.

"Perfect." Vel'ku's wicked smile made her on edge as that feeling crept up again. "Distract anyone from getting too far in." Vel'ku left the nuna and the human as she raced herself into the ship. This required a nice bit of time, but she could get it done.

As long as Casval and Kickee kept people out.

"Uh . . ." Before he could get a word in, she was gone. He wasn't used to women taking charge like that, especially those that were as quiet as a mouse and as awkward as a platapus just a minute before. Oh how the fairer sex had so many sides to them.

"So . . ." Letting the word fall from his lips, he looked awkwardly to the little pet next to him. "Ready to do this Kickee?" Nodding, he crossed his arms over his burly chest and looked out into the crowd. "Yeah, I thought so." Casval said, not leaving much room for the animal's response, although it wasn't like it could talk anyways. At least he didn't think it could talk. What a surprise that would be!

The only thing Vel'ku really enjoyed, and here she was. Hacking into a ship and putting Casval as the owner. She couldn't wait to be off Kuat now.
Spotting an offline droid, she though over the benefit and how long it would take for her to re-program him. It surely would be bad if he blew their cover. She'd be sure to fix him up after the ship. . .

Kickee nudged into Casval, attempting to get his attention. Kickee wasn't the smartest little cookie, but he could figure out some kind of distraction.
The nuna made a loud sound that even Vel'ku heard, she looked behind her in wonder if Kickee had followed her. He hadn't, but she was amazed at how loud the nuna had just been. She returned to full concentration of her work.

Startled at the loud noise that spawned up beside him, Casval reeled back in mild surprise. Wondering what the bloody hell was going on, he looked at the little creature. Now if the runa was trying to tell him something, the Imperial wasn't going to figure it out in a thousand years. He didn't really like animals like these, so it was going to be a long stretch until he could ever understand them.

"Hey!" Letting his hands settled on his hips, he looked down at the runa and raised his voice in mock anger. "Don't you raise your voice at me you Bonthan hooker!" Crossing his arms over his chest, he spun away from the most likely confused creature.

Vel'ku almost left what she was doing and went to beat Mister Bright for calling her nuna a 'Bonthan hooker'.

Who does he think he is? she growled lowly and continued working, just a little more time. . .

Kickee let his name show his true colours as he kicked Casval when his back was turned, repeating the action multiple times and making more screeching sounds.

Lahflan had a wide smile on his face as he looked over the shipyard in Kuat. Rumor had it, there was a rather extremist sociopath Falleen was on the planet. That was all he needed to set his course for the planet and he'd arrived yesterday morning, the planets sun barely lit the day that was soon to begin.

He'd smiled wildly when he heard scream from a critter close to where he was located, turning his head toward the noise- a nuna was spotted quickly.

He was merely human, but he felt so much more than what a human should. Not but a few months ago had Lahflan met Vel'ku, and instantly loved the woman. She showed nothing, felt nothing. Never showed anything.
The human didn't notice the fact his fists had clenched tightly together and he calmed himself best he could, not wanting to be so upset publicly.

The nuna was Kickee, Lahflan knew this very well the moment he locked his eyes upon the small creature. Vel'ku was here. She was likely in the ship, and typical her to be on a YT. Too bad for her this was a rental he was using.

He got into the ship without the man noticing him, Kickee not bothering with Lahflan.
As expected, Vel'ku had the ship torn and was getting it rigged. He came up behind her and lightly placed his hands on her small shoulders, "Hello, dear. Looks like you're breaking the law, hmmm?" she had turned sharply, his hands releasing her. She glared at him, one of the few emotions she did show.

"Lahflan." she said plainly, her emotion gone.

Did he prefer her angry than nothing at all? I don't know. I just. . . don't.

He looked at her coldly, not meaning to seem too rude, "Well, my dear, this is my ship. You're trespassing. You know my job and I can't let you run." she didn't show anything at all. Nothing.

Vel'ku looked at the ground and sighed, she held up a hand- expecting help up. Lahflan did so and pulled her close to him. "I never wanted this for you. You should have listened." he held her tightly for a short moment before simply knocking her out and began ship start up. Whatever she was doing hadn't effected the ability for it to fly.
He looked back at the beautiful Falleen he was going to turn into the Galactic Alliance. It'd be a hard trip, but this would get her out of this place and hopefully home to Falleen.

Why is their species and planet the same thing? Who am I to judge?

He let out a long sigh and noticed Kickee had ran into the ship as the door closed up, the man who'd been with the nuna had not ran in, busy with a crowd that had apparently gathered.

"I'm sorry, Vel'ku." he muttered lowly and took off to turn her into the Galactic Alliance.
