DESCRIPTION​

A mainstay of the Royal Hapan Navy, the Miy'til Starfighter is actually an old Hapan design but received updates over the years. Although Hapes has good shipwrights, the Hapans further benfited from technological exchange once they ended their home cluster's isolation The Miy'til Starfighter is the main starfighter of the Royal Hapan Navy and well embodies their naval war doctrine, favoring quality, speed, maneuverability, and crushing firepower to defeat their enemies.

The two medium laser cannons do most of the work, which is suplemented by the presence of the light ion cannon and the missile launcher. The ion cannon can whittle shields and the missile launcher can lock on and an finish off an enemy if the laser cannons can't.

The best quality of the Miy'til is it's speed, it's one of the fastest interceptors if not the fastest in the galaxy, although it comes at a price as the Miy'til has light armor and only light deflector shields. The ship's Incom imported thrust engines are also incompatible with any modifications that would change it's speed. Thus the Miy'til's best defense are it's prodigious speed and it's good maneuverability

The Miy'til is a hyperspace capable ship, although they are frequently deployed from Hapan carrier ships such as their famous Battle Dragons.

Restricted. These ships are proprietary property of the Hapan Navy, in addition to following other laws regarding starfighter ship use. Unauthorized use or possession of these ships is illegal in the eyes of the Hapes Consortium.

To add the well-known Hapan starfighter from legends to our site canon.
