DESCRIPTION
The Mobius-class freighter is a popular model of light cargo transport used in the Stygian Reaches, designed and manufactured by New Barancar Drive Yards. Considered reliable and cheap, if not especially well protected, examples can be seen plying their trade at almost every decently trafficked port in the Reaches.Mobius-class freighters are 28 meters in length, with an asymmetrical hull composed largely or ordinary durasteel. The Mobius has a top speed of 50 MGLT equivalent, plus a class 4 hyperdrive; like most small freighters it does not come standard with a navicomputer, however, being mostly reliant on hyperspace beacon networks to provide astrogation data. The ship's cargo capacity is 50 tons. The ship is armed with a single concussion missile launcher, loaded from a magazine of 8 missiles; it has no dedicated armor plating, but has limited protection in the form of a hull magnetic seal.
