BIOGRAPHY

Momo Ultab never knew who his birth parents were but he was raised by a loving family nonetheless. A human couple on the remote agriworld of Dagro had brought him up as one of their own since infancy. His mom and dad were farmers and so he was instructed in the fine art of tending the land. Mo was a natural if there ever was one and he loved every minute of it - he would have happily spent the rest of his days among the plants and the animals, nurturing life and growth beneath the gentle Dagro sun.

There was a village he visited with his parents when it was time to sell the harvest each season. The kids there would make fun of him because he looked different, and they'd laugh at his voice. He often wished he could speak Basic without needing his translator collar. Jedi would also frequent the village, visiting at the behest of a generous donor to the Order that lived nearby. They would take a great interest in the young Ithorian for the boy's natural farming talents were in fact an expression of his latent Force sensitivity. Mo liked them much better than the village kids. The Jedi offered to train him in the ways of the Force, promising that they could strengthen his bond with nature and teach him to connect with the world around him on a more fundamental level. They offered community and belonging, something the young orphan had never truly experienced.

After careful deliberation with his parents, Mo made up his mind. He would leave for the Jedi Order in hopes of exploring, making new friends, and getting acquainted with all of the wonderful plants and animals the Galaxy had to offer.

Personality

Before he joined the order, Mo never got the chance to venture far beyond the confines of his family's farm. He developed a shyness that was only reinforced by the teasing he endured at the hands of other children from the nearby village. Mo has been trying hard to come out of his shell, but it's been slow going. Large as his species are, Mo is a gentle giant - he'd never bring harm to an innocent being and he sticks to a vegan diet.

Skills

Even as a child, the young Ithorian felt a special connection to nature. He could understand plants and animals - they spoke to him sometimes, though not with words. For long it was a phenomenon that Mo could not explain, but his Jedi training has furthered both his understanding and his skill in this area,

He prefers using the Force to defend himself in favour of his (training) lightsaber, though he'd rather things didn't come to violence when it could at all be helped.
