Metropolis waited outside the gang leader's home with a few gifts. Or his mother's home to be accurate. He had done business in Grunagabol before and was known to be friendly to the locals, hence being allowed to meet some higher ups. Even being allowed on the street at all. Strangers were not typically welcome here. And he had brought two associates with him. The issue to discuss was serious, hence the gifts for the mother. He needed what ever edge he could get.

All he had told the leaders was that he wanted to discuss the future of the district, and how they could all benefit from a new arrangement for it. Given the implied gravity of the meeting there might be a few local gang leaders in attendance. They ruled, but their mothers were highly respected in their own right here. And the safest place for all of them to meet was at one of their homes. They might even help keep the peace.

Outside with his new partners in crime, he went over his mental notes, pacing back and forth before being given the signal to enter the home. He had told Sun and Gil he wanted to take over the district. It was not being used to its full potential and the local gangs didn't have the capital to remedy that. Enter outside help. In return for using off world connections to make the gangs rich, smuggling in new weapons and swoops, even training them to defend their homes through his own security company; the gangs would use their muscle to give them control over the district. Letting them use the stash houses, exclusive rights over smuggling in the spaceport, that kind of thing. Everyone would benefit from the new arrangement.

Metropolis trusted his partners well enough. Simple when you could read minds, but it was more than that. They stood to benefit too much from working together at the moment to really be a threat to each other. If things went well there was more than enough space in the district between the four of them too. On the contrary, they would probably struggle using more than a small fraction of it. So he was fine with everyone getting an equal share. If one of them needed more at some point in the future, they could just offer to rent some from another partner.

"You guys ready?" Metropolis asked.
