DESCRIPTION​

This single action pistol is the primary sidearm of the Morelian Law Bringers and its heavy weight is compatible with the increased racial strength of the Morelian's. It is 100 caliber
and comes with a variety of shells. The two primary shells are the double 00 buck with 12 .30 caliber pellets and the Armor piercing explosive rifled slug.

Intent
Slug throwers with their multiple projectile ability or scatter rounds are one of the best options for a non force user to use against a force user. Them Morellians learned that force-users can sometimes block a few projectiles at one time. So in an area where the Jedi are not a part of everyday life the Morellians developed a weapon to deal with rogue force users. That is also probably why in a Jedi/Exile controlled galaxy why they were made illegal. They convinced the system governments that they were bad to give themselves an unfair advantage over non Force users. You will notice that vibro weapons which are even (bloodier) the reason given for making slug throwers illegal are not illegal, perhaps this is because a Jedi/Exile can fully block them.

Not a tech mod or anything, but here is my feedback as a player. In addition to what Dara said. You are missing an intent section. And as per the tech rules slugthrowers do Light damage. I'm not sure if the scatter function would pass, but that would need to be elaborated upon.

And make sure you have read the write up for Slugthrower technology. They aren't the same as IRL firearms even in canon.


This weapon will probably be the best you can get out of a slugthrower pistol

Fast than light beat me to it. I will just add. Does it need to be a slug thrower. If you want a revolver for lore or looks you could have it fire from single shot energy cells. That will make it a bit more more star warzie

The Morellians were a species of sentientnear-Humans native to the planetMorellia in Wild Space. They dominated the Morellian Commonwealth, a region patrolled by a law enforcement body known as the Morellian Enforcers. The Enforcers were known for their choice of weaponry: the .48-caliber Enforcer pistol was a slugthrower manufactured by the Morellian Weapons Conglomerate that was as strong as a heavy blaster pistol.

Despite the weapon's obvious weight, he handles it as if it weighs nothing. He can speed draw faster than even Derembus, and that's no simple feat. My mistake, the Morellian Commonwealth is still canon, but the Morellians - and Morellian Slugthrowers like the .48 - no longer are.

I still think the Mark 3 Slugthrower is the best a slugthrower pistol can get, imo.

Slugthrowers are just not good otherwise people (in canon) wouldn't be using blasters.

I have yet to see where they can block six or more projectiles at one time. It is also probably why in a Jedi controlled galaxy that is why they were made illegal. They convinced the system governments that they were bad to give themselves an unfair advantage over non Force users. You will notice that vibro weapons which are even bloodier, perhaps because a Jedi/Exile can fully block them have for some odd reason not been made illegal.

Most of this is added to my intent section. IT is reasonable to believe that the predecessors of the Morellian Enforcers (Law Bringers) would be just as innovative and
final with their weapons. What I am proposing is a hard hitting weapon without any energy component to the ammunition. Well other than Kinetic.
