Indupar
Mid Rim
0730 Hours Local Time

The morning sun had just crested over the horizon on the Mid Rim world of Indupar as Jedi Knight Kai Sera rather groggily made his way down the corridors of Indupar East Stronghold. Apparently, the stronghold was some sort of castle the reigning monarch had allowed the Jedi to use, or at least take over the west wing portion of it. Which was just fine with young dark-haired Kai as it gave him a change of scenery. Despite being a native of the beautiful world of Naboo, he was beginning to grow tired of how constantly he found himself heading there to train, even before the battle scarred much of its surface. In the distance the knight could hear the birds chirping and singing their sweet melodies in the trees and it reminded him how nice it was to be up this early in the morning. It was actually a rather odd thing for him; Kai was used to waking early in the morning and meditating before going to get a light meal, but ever since the Battle of Naboo, he had found it harder and harder to wake up in the morning; he was always sleepy when he managed to pull himself out of bed. Whatever was going on, Kai just hoped it resolved itself soon enough.

Making his way down the ancient-looking corridor (Kai had no idea how old the building actually was), the young man's footfalls would echo lightly off the smooth stone surfaces. Finally, he would come to where the Order had made a make shift kitchen of sorts for the time being; it wasn't perfect but it got the job done. Grabbing some fruit and some bread, Kai enjoyed himself a light meal. He didn't want to do anything too heavy as he still had planned to meditate and then train after this, he had to do it eventually after all so he could stay sharp with both the Force and his lightsaber. But, he still had a little bit of time to spare once he had finished eating, and so, he decided to go stand on the parapets of one of the walls with the sun rising into the azure sky before him, the warmth on his face as his body soaked up the rays of light.

There was a smile on Kai's face as he enjoyed the moment, the warmth of the sun, the chirping of the birds, the buzzing of the bees, there was even a gentle breeze that was relaxing as it blew across the top of the wall. And strangely, Kai felt like today held something special in store for him. He could quite place it, but for some reason, he just had a feeling it would be important, for good or ill, though of course the knight naturally hoped for good as he stood leaning against the battlements of the stronghold. Opening his dark grey eyes, Kai gazed out onto the land below and beyond wondering what it would be that would happen today.

With a happy sigh, Kheera stepped out of the ship that brought her to Indupar. The view from the landingpad was stunning. The forest below the landingpad was shining like gold, caused by the morning sun. Kheera herself was quite the morning person, all she needed was a good breakfast and she's good to go. But today, today was different. Something in her wanted to go to Indupar. Why, she didn't know. It was a feeling, a sense. And that feeling got her quite nervous. With a stuffed backpack on her back, she stepped off the landingpad and looked around. It was a little climb down before she could reach the forest floor. With a loud yawn, she begun to stretch her body. It took her a little while to stretch all the muscles in her body, but she didn't mind it. It give her a reason to adore the view for a bit longer. On the right side of the forest, she noticed a sort of stronghold. Tho it could've been a castle as well. It gained Kheera's interest, and so the climb down begun.

It wasn't the easiest climb, soms rocks slipped away from her hands, vines were dangeling in her face. But she landed safely on her feet, somehow. And then, when she looked up at the landingplatform, she realised two things. The first thing, on the right side of the landingpad was a walking road. The second thing, she could've used her wings, to fly down to the ground. At first, she begun to sigh. But that sigh turned quickly into a short laughter, that could've been heard all the way down in the forest. Kheera didn't make a big deal out of it. It was quite typical for Kheera to make these kind of goofy mistakes. Out of nothing, her stomach started to rumble a bit. At first she thought it was a monster, growling. But then she realised it was her own stomach, being empty. Calm down stomach! I know that I've skipped breakfast. There's food in my bag. I'll just eat it once I reach the stronghold.. castle.. thingy! After giving her stomach a little pet, she continued on her journy.

The forest was beautiful. Birds were waking up, which filled the forest with joyful whistles everywhere. Some types of flowers slowely opend their petals after getting touched by the golden sun rays. Slowly but sure, the forest came alive and it wasn't difficult to notice. It took away her breath while she strolled around. From time to time, she heard the growl of a big animal, hunting for food. Yet it didn't scare her at all. She was calm, at ease, yet also very happy. From time to time, Kheera's stroll turned into a skip. It must've been an odd sight, a grown up lady, skipping around the forest. After a couple of minutes, she headed closer to the stronghold. From a closer sight, the stronghold looked really old. But it had something charming about it. It gave it this very special rustic look. After another minutes, she started to sense another person who's strongly combined with the Force. From time to time, she could've heard the echo of the person's steps. Was this the reason why she wanted to head to Indupar?

Taking another long moment to enjoy the morning sunlight and the crisp morning breeze, the knight inhaled through his nose, smelling the fresh air coming from the nearby forest. It was a good smell, invigorating and rejuvinating. It was the smell of dirt, of leaves, of grass, of the cool morning dew that had yet to evaporate. Then after a few more minutes of enjoying the morning weather, Kai felt different. It was the Force of course, he felt that it was speaking to him in some way. The knight hummed to himself thoughtfully as he reached outwards into the Force with his senses to see if he could tell what could have caused such a thing to occur. As he did so, he quieted his mind, letting the Force wash over him and through him; he let it speak to him and in that moment he had a brief vision. It passed quickly, like the twinkling of an eye, faster than the blink of an eyelid. He saw a girl, no a young woman, with pale skin and long hair the color of which alluded him. She was fairly attractive in her own way, and then she was gone, the vision had passed on.

Kai frowned as he gripped the edge of the ramparts, his heart racing as his mind spun with questions. What did it mean? Would he meet the young woman soon? How would he meet her? Where? The young man took a breath as closed his eyes. Opening them again, he felt them drawn downwards. His grey orbs spotted a lone figure amongst the trees below him. Was that the woman? Perhaps the Force was trying to draw his attention to her for a reason. Well, he certainly hoped there was reason for it. In any event, the Force had put the ball into his court now, it was his move to make. From his position he could meet the figure at the entrance to the stronghold, assuming that's where it was going. Humming to himself again, he decided to try and sense the person through the Force. As he did, he could feel the warm glow of the Force surround her and interact with her in the subtle way that it did with those who were sensitive to the energy. That seemed to settle the matter for him, so he thought it would be best to make an entrance, and see if this person really was who the Force had intended him to meet; his training could wait if this was indeed the person he was supposed to meet.

Drawing the Force into him, Kai leapt off the side of the stronghold. It only took a second or two before he was plunging downward to the ground, the air howling past him, throwing his black hair about. The trees grew large as his black robes flapped about him. As he approached the ground, Kai threw the Force downward, and just before he impacted it he found himself quickly decelerating and then hovering just a few centimeters over the ground before the energy dissipated and his feet touch down. Taking a moment to breath and gather his senses, Kai looked around. He had landed relatively close to the person he saw walking through the woods, no doubt his descent had made quite a scene, and now that he was up close he could see this was indeed the young woman he had seen in his momentary vision earlier. With a smile on his face, he approached, trying to appear as friendly and honest as he was. Once he was close enough he would speak, and bow politely. "Greetings, mi'lady! I hope I didn't startle you, but I had a feeling I needed to speak to you, as oddly as that might sound!"

At first, Kheera stopped with walking. She heard the person moving around, she sensed how he came closer. Now it was the time to think. Okay. If it's a Sith, then I'm dead. But if I can sense the person, then he or she can sense me as well. And I'm not dead yet. He or she feels like quite the strong person, who's in great connection with the Force. Perhaps.. a Jedi? Hm. Is finding this person a really good idea? Kheera gave her forehead a little rub. He or she'll find me anyway. And it would explain why I had this strong feeling to go to Indupar. Kheera continued with her stroll, this time she skipped her skipping. While her force was yet too weak to sense who the person is, she felt the movements. And it was coming closer and closer. The cold and lovely morning breeze kept her body at ease, it allowed Kheera to move without sweating all goofy. While she had trust in her sense, it made her quite nervous.

And then, out of nothing, the person she had sensed fell down to the ground. In panic, she looked around, trying to see the person. And there he was, falling down from the side of the stronghold. While he fell too fast to notice any details, she could see it was the body of a male human. And that human body, was about to smash against the ground. That's what she atleast thought, but she was very wrong. The man slowed down at the end, allowing him to hover above the ground right before he smashed against it. It was quite the sight and it left a shocking yet good first impression. While all of that happened, Kheera just stood there, nailed against the ground, gasping for air.

Kheera just stood there, quietly. The man walked over to her, with this very friendly and calming smile. Kheera smiled back at the man. While it wasn't the brightest and warmest smile she ever had, it was an honest smile. The nervous feelings she once had were gone. He felt like a good person. And most importantly, not a Sith. And then, he spoke to her. The man's voice echoed slightly in the forest, making her smile a bit more brightly. "Why hello there, good sir! Yes, you startled me. I thought that you were going to die there! Weren't you scared yourself? I mean, look at how fast you actually fell! And you also had strange feelings?! Something in me also wanted me to go to Indupar. Now I know why, because of you!" Typical Kheera, talking way too fast, way too much, not giving the stranger any time to response to her questions.

As Kai approached the surprisingly tall young woman, he could see her smile and feel her honest and sincere intentions through the Force; it was a good feeling. Taking a step up, he continued to grin a bit at what she said. The girl spoke so rapidly, and so excitedly it was hard to get a word in. Not that he minded, it was good to see someone so enthusiastic. Of course, it seemed like she didn't have a filter, which could have been problematic if he was a Sith in disguise, or a spy. Although, he couldn't fault the young woman for that, not everyone was as suspicious as Kai had grown over the years. Pushing these thoughts out of his mind he smiled at her and spoke. "Oh, well, I'm sorry that I started you, but why would I be afraid that I was going to die? All I had to do was put my trust and faith in the Force; I knew it would break my fall! It's something I've been practicing with a bit more recently. Just one of many things possible with the Force. Honestly, I didn't even notice how fast I was falling."

Taking a moment to extend his hand he looked into the tall woman's pale eyes. "I suppose I should introduce myself. Manners and all that. We wouldn't want to get too far ahead of ourselves now do we? I'm Jedi Knight Kai Sera. It's a pleasure to meet with you miss! So, you say that you had a feeling to come here? That's very interesting. Would you believe it if I told you that just a minute ago I had a vision of a young woman who looked just like you? I wasn't sure what to make of it, but I'm glad you're not a Sith at least. I don't think I could handle meeting another gorgeous Sith." Kai teased with a wink and an easy smile as he lifted up his arm to beckon the woman forward to join him. The statement was mostly a lighthearted joke, but there was truth to it. This woman was fairly attractive, and he had met too many Sith lately. His thoughts drifted to one he had met in particular before he shrugged them off. "I'm afraid we can't go up the way we went down, it's a little too high, even for me. But there's an entrance just over this way. So, tell me more about this feeling, why do you think you came here to meet me?"

Kheera 'scanned' the man with her eyes, as soon as he came closer. She noticed that he was quite the handsome guy. While he's not quite her taste, he's not bad either. She could imagine and understand how some girls would fall in love with his looks. The thing that interested her the most was his black hair. For a second, she wanted to touch his hair. It looked quite soft and smooth. But before her muscles had the chance to reacted to these thoughts, she pushed them out of her head. While tilting her head slightly to the right, she listened carefully at the man. He spoke alot, it confussed her slightly as she didn't know alot yet about the force and it raised alot of new questions."It must be amazing to have so much trust in the Force. I'm still learning about it and gosh! And don't you worry, it's not like I screamed like a chicken who's about to get slaughtered. I was 'just' scared that you would've died! But hey, you are all alive. I don't see an issue here! So, did it feel like you were flying?! And can you actually fly, with the trick you just did?"

Kheera softly grabbed the man's hand, her once pale cheeks turned bright pink. Slightly ashamed, she moved her eyes away to her own feet. She knew that he meant it in a positive way, it just didn't feel that way. After collecting her thoughts she shrugged it off, took a deep breath and rolled her eyes back to the man with a smile. She noticed his grey eyes, but decided to stay quiet about it. "Oh my, a Jedi knight?" Before she continued with her sentences, she bowed down deeply for the Jedi knight, still holding his hand. "It's also a pleasure for me to meet you, Kai! Can I call you Kai? Anyway, my name is Kheera, Kheera Fii. Just a Padawan, nothing too special!" She stopped for a second, took a deep breath and continued just as fast as always. "Mhm, I did have that feeling. And well! The Force is weird and mysterious, it doesn't suprise me that you saw me in your vision! I mean, sure, it's a bit strange. Because hey! You just looked into the future and I was in it! But, isn't that a Jedi thing anyway? Sensing that all?" From time to time, Kheera moved her weight on her feet, switching from the left to right foot and back again.

"I mean, I can always fly up with you on my back? You'll have to carry my backpack if you want. It's a high way up, but I don't think that it's THAT High. With six wings I should have the power to carry you! That's more fun then taking the entrance! And trying doesn't hurt ofcourse. Unless we fall and smash against the ground!" Kheera didn't respond to his question. It didn't feel like the right place to answer it.

"I see, no, it's not quite like flying, more like falling, but not like I would know, I can't actually fly, at least not with the Force yet." The young man laughed as he explained it to her. Kai felt a little surprised when she grabbed his hand and blushed, that was odd for him, he hadn't been expecting such a response. Of course, it was rather cute of her so he smiled and said nothing; he didn't want to embarrass the tall female. As she bowed deeply, while still holding his hand he chuckled a little and found himself amused by her rather nervous response of shifting her weight from one leg to the other. "Well, Not-So-Special-Padawan Kheera Fii, the pleasure is all mine." He gave the girl a wink to show he was teasing a little. "Though, if you're a Padawan, that makes you a Jedi, no? And I'd say that's pretty special."

Listening to Kheera suggest having her fly up to the top, he looked at her wings. He wasn't sure if they would work, at least for two people, and so he frowned a little before looking back at her. Humming to himself he thought for a few seconds before responding."I guess we could use your wings if you think you can support me all the way up, the only thing is... well wouldn't it be better if I held onto your front? I don't know if you've ever transported someone on your back, but it seems like they'd get in the way of your wings when they tried to flap." Kai shrugged as he held out his hand for the pack on her back. When she handed it to him he would place it on his with a smile on his face. "Alright, just show me which way you want me to hold on, whatever is most comfortable for you. And don't worry about falling, I think I can stop is from hitting the ground." He grinned and gave her one last wink before grabbing hold of her as she directed him to.

Kheera slowly released the Jedi's hand with a little smile. His story about the Force sounded interesting, even though it wasn't a long one. "Ah. Well, one day, I'll be able to do it too! And then we'll both almost fall and then hover above the ground instat of hitting the ground! And then repeat it all over again! Sounds like lots of fun, don't you think?!" She noticed how her nervous attitude made the Jedi smile. Gotta keep that in mind. With a little nod, she looked up at the Jedi again. After the young man gave her a teasing wink, she begun to blush again. It became quite clear that Kheera wasn't the best at handeling these type of moves, yet she tried. "Well, Jedi are special! But, I still have to learn alot to become a good Jedi who can actually help others, like you. That's why I'm 'just' a Jedi padawan, you see." She smiled warmly at Ral.

"Okay, for the flying. Uuhmm. I've done this before. And you don't look like you are the heaviest. So on my back should in theory be fine. And as you just said, you can make sure that we don't fall against the ground if it goes wrong!" The tall lady removed the backpack off her shoulders and handed to the Jedi knight. "If you smell any food, that's my bag! Or well, better said, that's my breakfast. Now climb on my back!" While saying the last words, Kheera leaned forwards to the grass, allowing the Jedi to climb up her back between the wings. "Okay, hold on tightly now! Below my armpits or around my shoulders should do the trick."

Once the Jedi knight followed her advice, Kheera stood up straight with a little groan. And then, the difficult part started: getting up in to the air. While flying itself wasn't too difficult, it's the start that made it tricky. "There.. we.. go!" And with a 'battlecry' she jumped up in to the sky. In the jump itself she started with moving her wings, flapping them open and closed like butterfly wings. Because of the lenght of Kheera's wings, they missed the Jedi knight when they closed down at the top. It took Kheera a couple of seconds to get steady in the air without moving to the left or right. "Okay.. You are a bit heavy, but I think that I can hold it!" She sounded quite out of breath with from time to time a little groan and puff. With a couple of big wing flaps, Kheera moved up into the sky, up to the stronghold with the young man on her back. It went slow and not quite graceful but it worked, for now.

"Ah, I suppose that could be fun. And I hardly consider myself a 'good' Jedi. At least in the sense of being better than others. Besides, I'm sure you can help others if you'd just try. Just have to have a little faith in your training." Kai said warmly trying to encourage Kheera with a nod of his head. He could tell by her body language that he might have made her uncomfortable with his natural friendliness. It wouldn't have been the first time members of the opposite gender thought he was being flirtatious with him. Maybe he was, but then again it wasn't his fault he knew so many attractive females. In any case, flirting wasn't what he meant to do, but it is often what he ended up doing. As Kheera explained to him how she would have preferred him to hold on to her, Kai acknowledged what she said to him as he took her pack.

Given the option of around her neck of below her armpits he'd try doing an arm around over the shoulder, and one under the arm, meeting over the chest very similar to the way a seat belt looked. This way he would neither choke Kheera or squeeze her chest so she couldn't breathe. It also had the added benefit of giving Kai a better hold of Kheera. If that didn't work he'd do his best to hold her over her shoulders as he wasn't completely comfortable holding her under her arms. Once he had gotten a good grip on her, both of his hands clasped together in front of her bracing his body against hers he gave a simple nod. "Alright, I'm good if you are. Feel free to start when you're ready! And don't worry, I can use the Force to break our fall if needed. Hopefully, it won't be."

Kheera seemed to have some difficulty getting off the ground at first, and Kai had to reassure himself that Kheera was probably just a little green when it came to flying with somebody like himself on her back. Then with a few powerful strokes and a triumphant cheer they lifted into the air. It was quite an amazing thing to soar into the air on the back of a winged woman; it felt thrilling and invigorating, and what more the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. "You know I think that's the first time someone has ever called me fat." He teased in response to her calling him heavy. "But I'm quite relieved to hear that you can do it."

It didn't take them long to reach to the top of the battlements with Kheera looking a little tired from the effort to get them up there. Jumping off of her back and landing on the stone of the ramparts, the knight gave the young woman an easy pat on the back. "That was quite unique, thank you for giving me the opportunity to ride on your back like that. It was quite special, I'm sure I won't forget it anytime soon. Now, we're up here, did your feeling from the Force tell you what else you were supposed to do? I figure we can talk and get to know each other better, or I was going to train if you'd like to try that out with me. Your choice. How far have you progressed in your studies, actually? Is there something I can help you with?"

"Hey, I've never called you fat! You are just heavy boned! And don't forget those muscles. Buffy and meaty as they would say!" Kheera grinned softly, the flying itself went more easier then in the beginning. Luckly enough for the both of 'em, Kheera was cheating a bit and used the wind that blew her closer to the stronghold. It made it easy for her. Oh, just where would you be without Mother nature? Kheera thought to herself with a little smirk. The positioning of Kai's arms also helped quite alot, she just hoped that he couldn't feel her sweat against his arm because of it. "To be honest, I'm also quite happy with it. I already saw us crashing down, it was quite dramatic in my head yet also a bit funny. You've seen the animations right? Where they hang up in the air for a couple of seconds, take a look at eachother and then just drop like a brick? Yeh, that! But then realistic ofcourse!" Her grin turned into a gentle laughter. Somehow, her own laugh reminded her of little bells that swang in the wind.

The landing went quite smooth. The wind was strong enough to blow Kheera above the battlements, allowing her to slowly land on her feet. After Kai jumped off her back and gave her a pet, Kheera fell forwards on the stone floor with the deepest sigh. Big drops of sweat fell from Kheera's forehead. The flying made her a bit tired and exhausted, but it was worth it and ofcourse a very good training for her muscles. And most importantly, it made her feel proud. After taking a couple of deep breaths, Kheera moved up with her hands. Almost as if she was a mermaid, she moved her head on her hands and just layed there. "Hey, no biggy! I enjoyed it myself too." Her always warm smile came back again. "Oh right! The Force thingy. I can't really explain it that well, to be very honest! It just told me that I had to go to Indupar. I'm quite fine with training, if you have the time for it of course! My training.. well. I'm even lacking the basic information about the Jedi, I can barely use any Force and let's not even begin about fighting! But, one of the Padawan has been giving me lessons about Force healing, which is going fine so far."

Kheera moved her body up and sat down on the ground, this time a bit more lady like with her legs tucked under her body. "Yo! Can I have my backpack back! I reaaallyyy need my breakfast. A woman can't learn without food! Well. I can't." She shrugged a bit and clapped in her hands after the Jedi knight handed over the backpack to her. She opend the top of it and fished a sandwich with a Quor'sav egg ontop of it, out of her backpack. "Also want one?" After Kheera offerd the man a sandwich, she took a big bite out of her own sandwich. It tasted like any regular egg with bread sandwich, but it wasn't too bad at all. She took her time to finish her sandwich while looking at the stunning scenery infront of her. The sun was still making it's way up in the sky which gave everything a beautiful golden glow. It must've been one of the prettiest sunrise Kheera has ever seen.

Kai started to laugh when Kheera tried to defend her statement. It was fairly amusing and cute, but at least she was trying too be sincere, despite the knight's teasing. Kai was glad to see that his method of holding on to her had worked out well; he would have felt bad if she started having issues because of it, but he could also tell that she was having a hard time trying to ascend with the added weight on her back, the beads of sweat forming on her exposed skin that he could see and feel making it fairly obvious to him. After all, Kai wasn't the lightest person in the world despite how thing he looked. As she continued to speak, Kai just smiled and nodded. "You're too funny, I like you, I think we'll get along just fine!"

With his feet back on solid ground, Kai was actually a little surprised to see Kheera drop so suddenly like she did. Rushing forward he knelt down next to her and placed his hands on her, channeling the Force through them to try and rejuvenate her; a skill he wasn't exactly trained in, but something he figured he'd give it a go nonetheless considering how hard she worked to get them up there. The young man could see how tired she was, and feel how proud she was of the feat through the Force. With a bit of a silly grin on his face he took a step back and sat down beside her as she propped herself up, her warm smile causing him to smile a little bit wider. "Well, I'm glad, and I'd love to do it again sometime. It was very rewarding and thrilling." He chuckled softly to himself as she explained how she just felt like she needed to go to Indupar and how her training was fine, if a little lacking. Nodding, he placed a hand on her shoulder. "I see, it's nothing to be ashamed about. It would seem the Force has indeed brought us together for a reason then! It seems like I can help you with some of your issues. Do you know what kind of Jedi you want to be? What you want to specialize in? Some make better diplomats, others are better investigators, some are warriors, and others are scholars or healers."

As he said that, he took off Kheera's pack and handed it to her. With a bit of a regretful smile he shook his head and watched her as she ate, thinking. "No, I'm fine. I had just finished my breakfast when I came out and saw you, so I'm still fairly full. Go ahead and eat up, once you're done we'll start with your first lesson. Do you have an idea of what you'd like to cover first? I have a few ideas in my head, but I'd like to know what you want or think you need to cover first!"

[OOC: Little fun fact, Kheera used to be the leader of the healers, before I joined this roleplay. So that's my aim, to get Kheera high again haha.]

Kheera just laughed when Kai tried to help to get her up. She wasn't wounded or that exhausted, she just felt like laying down. But it was a nice feeling, knowing that he tried to help her. It felt odd, having the Jedi's Force channeling between the two bodies. "Thrilling?! Oh boy, if you already find that trilling, wait till you see the Diathim at Iego! They fly as if they are drunk there, nonstop! Making loops, crashing against walls, dropping down from heights: in fact a bit like you did! But then a bit faster." She just laughed softly, clearly enjoying the thought of Diathim's flying drunk. And then, the Jedi asked a question that she didn't quite like. Kheera wasn't the biggest fan of thinking about her future. For once, Kheera stayed quiet which surely wasn't common for her. While munching her sandwich as if she hasn't seen food for over a day, she tried to think about a proper answer. An answer that would've done worthy.

After a couple of minutes of silence, Kheera spoke up. "I'm very sure that you've heard this story before, quite alot in fact. But I want to become a protector, a life savior, a guardian who's behind in the battlefield for the fallen ones." She lowered her eyes, yet kept smiling warmly. It wasn't hard to feel the passion and hope in Kheera's voice. "So I think that being a healer would fit. A combat healer, a healer who's in the temples, I'm fine with it all. Aslong as I can help." She notted, proud of her own answer. While listening at Kai's response, she continued to munch the last piece of her sandwich. Ah, the last piece always tastes the best. Once she swallowed her last piece away, Kheera licked her lips clean and clapped the crumbles of her hands. With a happy moan she stood up.

"Hm. Well, I'm kinda interested in the Jedi code. It's the most important code for the Jedi, isn't it? So it would make alot of sense to learn that first!"

(OOC: You're going to make me dig up my Jedi Code notes? Shameful! :P)

Kai smiled warmly as she laughed softly at what she had just said. In a way her laugh reminded him of music, it was intriguing, but Kai pushed it out of his mind so he could respond. "Well, that certainly sounds intriguing... Diathim..." He muttered thoughtfully, his eyes glazing over for a moment as he tried to remember where he heard the name before until it clicked when he thought about Iego. "Aren't those what people call Angels? Or something silly like that? I've never seen them, have you? If that's the case maybe you can take me there and show me some time, I'd love to see them first hand!" He smiled at her and then waited for her to finish her sandwich; he could tell she was deep in thought about the question he had asked her. Finally, when she was getting close to being done with her sandwich she spoke and Kai listened. With a bit of a sigh he nodded. "It's a sad truth that we might need healers, especially combat healers in the coming days now more than ever."

Hearing her moan happily after finishing her sandwich and clapping her hands, Kai saw her stand up so he joined her. Her answer gave him pause, it had been a while before he had discussed the Jedi Code. Of course the knight knew the words and what they meant, but having to explain it to a Padawan was always a bit trickier than it seemed on the first go. Clearing his throat, he motioned for her to follow him. "Alright, well it's been a while, but I can help you with the code. In fact we can talk about it while we walk to the training hall. If you know it you can recite it with me.

'Jedi are the guardians of peace and justice throughout the galaxy. Jedi use the Force only for the pursuit of knowledge, to defend, and to protect. Jedi respect all life in the galaxy, in any form it may take. Jedi to not rule others, but serve them for the welfare of the galaxy. Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge, training, and self-discipline.'

"What do you think those words mean, Kheera?"

[OOC: YOU BETTER FEAR THA LILEEHH]

"Well. Let me tell you a story. But before that, you are looking at a Diathim right now!" Kheera just laughed while she waved at the Jedi knight. "So. Iego.. There's a sad truth about the planet, that not many people know. And I honestly don't want you to visit Iego because of it. Many people have tried to actually visit Iego, but there's a reason why you don't hear stories about it. People who've succeed to visit Iego, don't come back alive. You see, the Diathim who live on Iego visit the ships that are entering Iego's orbit. That's one of their special abilities, being able to fly in space with nothing but their wings." A cold and slow shiver ran over Kheera's back. It was a terrible story to tell. "Back to the story.. Because of the beauty of a Diathim, the captain of the ship would fall inlove and crash into Iego. Most of the crew members just die instantly and the survivors are getting eaten by the creatures. It's quite sad when you think about it." She shook her head a bit, almost as if she was shaking off the grief and sadness. It took Kheera a couple of seconds, but her smile came back again. "Oh yeh.. I've heard about the lack of healers. It's indeed a big shame. But that's why Padawans like me are here! We, the future of the healers. Huhuhuh" Kheera's laugh was slightly off, even a bit creepy. Of course, it was meant to sound that way.

Sunken away in her thoughts about the words, Kheera moved slowly to the training hall. It wasn't that easy, explaining what these words actually meant. "These words sound like a guiding line for the Jedi. To remind us, the Jedi, who we really are and what our goals are. Atleast, that's how I see these words!" With her hands on her back, Kheera's walking pass turned into skipping from time to time. The breakfast did it's work and it gave Kheera quite the energy. With every skip, a new and quite loud echo was createn.

(OOC: Sorry about the late reply, meant to get this up earlier)

Kai's mouth opened wide at the young woman's decleration. "My goodness, I didn't know!" He exclaimed, his cheeks rosy as he felt quite embarrassed. The young man would of course listen to what Kheera had to say about Iego, how many people became enthralled with the beauty of the Diathim, and looking at the girl across from him he could see why. It was a sad thing, perhaps even almost cruel that a species could do that, though Kai supposed that if there was some beautiful dolphin that swam next to ships one couldn't get too mad at it for the trouble that befell the distracted crew. With a bit of a smirk on his lips he looked at Kheera, suppressing the laugh that wanted to come up from her awkward chuckle. "Well, that is unfortunate, but maybe if you came with me I wouldn't have that problem. Someday perhaps. Anywho!"

The knight laughed lightly at himself as he continued to move down the corridor to the training hall. He listened to what she had to say about the Code, what she thought they meant. Her response was minimalist, though it wasn't wrong. If anything it was a simplistic answer, albeit a largely correct one, in the broad scope at least. Upon reaching the room they would train in, Kai turned to Kheera, "Good, good. That is an excellent interpretation, at least you're not way off and making us sound like the Sith!" He smiled warmly before motioning her to take a seat with him. "Alright, so, the Code is interesting, because we're supposed to use it, and the Eightfold Path to help us determine the way we lead our lives as Jedi. Being a Jedi means suffering, not in a physical sense like in pain mind you, though that could happen, but hardship specifically. A Jedi's life is not the easy one, we must often be selfless putting our desires aside to ensure that the Galaxy is safe. So, with that in mind what do you think it means to be 'the guardians of peace and justice' and to only use the Force for knowledge and defense?"

[OOC: Oh don't you worry about it. Also, after today I'll be a bit away for 5 days. I have no idea if I'll be able to response in these 5 days or not, but so you know!]

She just giggled a bit behind her hand as the man's cheeks began to rosy. It looked quite sweet on him. "Don't you worry about it. You couldn't know! And yes, it's quite unfortunate. Taking you with me.. is a possibilty. But that's indeed something for the future!"

"Woeh! I didn't make us a Sith! Win!" Kheera smiled back at the Jedi knight and sat down next to him, with her lower legs and feet tucked under her upperlegs and her hands on her lap. The Diathim listened to what he was saying about the Jedi code, about the life of a Jedi and the troubles. It took her a couple of seconds to progress everything he just said. The question though was a bit tougher than progressing everything. With a stare, Kheera placed the palms of her hands against her cheeks and her elbows against her knees. "That's a difficult one, I must admit." With her eyes closed, she began to think about it. A couple of answers popped up in her head, but non of these answers made alot of sense. With a frown she ran her fingers over the sides of her head. It took her a couple of minutes to give a propper answer.

"As a very blund answer, it means that we set aside our own lifes to protect the life of others. Others against enemies, like the Sith or the Hutt. The lifes of the innocent onces come first, our own issues, emotions and problems comes second. And by living like that, the Jedi is capible of being there for the ones in need without being distracted by their own greeds and emotions." She wasn't quite sure if this was the answer he was looking for and she felt a little bit ashamed because of it. Only now she realised how little she actually knew about the Jedi and the true meanings behind it all. Therefor, she couldn't wait to hear what the Jedi had to say about her answer, if it was correct or wrong.

The knight chuckled at Kheera when she remarked about not confusing the Jedi Code with the Sith. She had a sweet smile on her face, and after he asked her to consider his question he could tell that she was actually putting some thought into it, which was good. This was supposed to make one think, they should just know the answer. Giving her an acknowledging nod when she admitted it being a difficult question he smiled patiently. "It's supposed to be. Supposed to make you think. Don't worried about being right or wrong, I just want you to think and consider what the words mean. It is rather hard to be completely wrong with an interpretation, though I suppose you could interpret it as the exact opposite as the rest of the Order, that might make it wrong, or at the very least very very off!"

When she finally answered, Kai kept a neutral face and demeanor, he wanted to see what Kheera would say without any help. He could see that she was doing her best, and it made him smile a little at the end. When she was done he could tell she felt a little bashfully about her knowledge, or perhaps lackthereof, of the Jedi and their Code. Not that it was a problem, mind you, Kai knew that not everyone would be ready for such tough questions, especially given the current state of the Order and its inability to properly teach all of the Padawans appropriately. Clearing his throat when she had finally finished. "Not bad, you certainly answered the first part of my question quite well. Now, I'll share with you how I interpret it, and make of it as you will. As the guardians of peace and justice in the Galaxy, we must protect those who need protecting. We do not allow corrupt governments or politicians sway our judgment or our goals. We serve justice, true justice, for good or ill. Now remember, the Jedi do not have to deny themselves their emotions, but they cannot let their emotions rule them. This is very important, as it is often misunderstood. To understand others, to understand the Galaxy we live in, we have to understand the emotions, which means living with our own. It might be a little difficult to do, but a Jedi must learn how to put aside their own emotions in order for peace, order, and justice to be accomplished.

"We must also never use the Force for our personal gains. That's what only for knowledge and defense means. We shouldn't use it to become a king, or emperor, or a supreme chancellor. That's not what we use the Force for, we use it to make sure others are safe. Like those who can't defend themselves, the weak, and the innocent. This plays into not being distracted by greed or emotions, as the Force could allow us to great things if we turned out focus towards our ambitions. But as Jedi we are called to put aside our ambitions, and serve others, serve the Will of the Force. This also plays into the second part, 'Jedi respect all life in the galaxy, in any form it may take. Jedi to not rule others, but serve them for the welfare of the galaxy. Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge, training, and self-discipline.'

"What do you think that second part means in relation to enduring suffering, denying our ambition, and living with, but setting aside our own emotions?"

Kheera clapped into her hands with the biggest smile, she was happy that her answer wasn't that wrong. In fact, it was a desent answer. It surely made her day and gave her alot more confidence about her own answers. Kai's vision about it clearly interested Kheera alot. It's an idea behind it all that she hasn't thought of. And that vision gave her the feeling of what the Jedi actually should be doing, in a way more detailed way. It opened her eyes a bit more about the Jedi, slowly but sure it became clear for Kheera. And then, the Jedi knight had another question ready. She let out a sigh, yet it wasn't an annoyed sigh. She was happy that there was more to it, that there was another question. The thinking game began again. Kheera moved back into her old positioning with her eyes closed. She took the time to think of a decent answer, that described how she felt about it. And oh boy, it was difficult.

"Enduring suffering: means no matter what pain or suffering you are facing actions, always be calm and collected. And not to be ambitious in the great scheme of things. Don't aim to be a master, but train to improve yourself. Learn every day and train to become better. And accept where you are in life and be content with it. Of course, it's not wrong to have dreams or motivations. These can guide you through life. But they shouldn't control you, they shouldn't be your aim." Kheera rubbed her chin, thinking if there was something more to add. "The Force is there to help others and that's how we should use it." Her smile came back again "And hey, it isn't fun to become queen by choking the king's throat! I don't see why people would even do that. Cough Like Sith cough."

Kai chuckled as Kheera clapped her hands and gave a wide smile, he could feel how happy she was about her answer not being torn apart by the knight, as thought he couldn't just see how happy she was with his own two eyes, but feeling it through the Force made it more... real. As he started to explain how he viewed the code, he could see that she was soaking up his words and taking it all in, learning as much as she could, and thinking about what he had said. That made him happy, and brought a bit of a smile to his face; he always enjoyed teaching, and seeing the cogs moving behind his student's eyes. It was an entirely rewarding experience in of itself. And then when he asked his follow up, he could see the cogs turning again, this time in a way trying to synthesize an answer of her own belief. When she finally spoke, Kai listened, a smile on his face and glint in his eye, and Kheera did her best to communicate what she thought about the code's meaning. As she finished he gave an approving nod.

"Exactly!" Kai clapped happily when Kheera got a point he was trying to make. Very good. Remember, Jedi seek to improve themselves so they may better help others. You should train to become better than you were before, not better than your peers, or your rivals. We seek to become better people so that we may protect, and defend. That we may one day end a war before it begins. This is why we use the Force; to prevent the loss of life where ever possible, and save those who need saving. Remember, that we respect all forms of life. This includes things like insects, and vermin. Or even forms of life we may not fully understand. They all have a right to live just as we do. And we have to respect that."

"Now," Kai dusted his lap off of the invisible particles that had settled during their talk. "In your mind, can you name a few example of when one might have to apply the Code in a real situation? When you are confronted with a problem, do you know how to let these teachings influence how you respond?"

Kheera tried her very best to hold back any type of 'WOEEHH!' after the Jedi knight told her that she was right. The sparks in Kheera's eyes just became brighter and brighter. Once again, as a sponge she soaked up every single word the Jedi said. After all, this was the beginning of the future. These were the words that would guide her through the dark. It became a bit much, but it was still duable to understand and remember it all without getting a headache. And most importantly, she actually had fun with this lesson. Kheera felt very pleased to see that Kai was also enjoying this as much as she was. It must've been a bit weird for the Jedi knight, teaching the hyperactive Jedi padawan about the Jedi code. She shrugged that thought away and looked up at the Jedi knight as he asked for a couple of examples. She pressed her lips together and made an odd sound. "Mhhhh.." And a wave of words flew out of her mouth.

"I know a few, I think. The first one would be where you have a sister. Let's say.. a twin sister! And you both become Jedi. But then your sister decides that the Sith is cooler and way darker, so she becomes a Sith. It's then your job to not seek for revenge, to let go of your sister if there's no way to bring her back and to get back to your training. While you are allowed to feel the grief, the anger, the sadness, it shouldn't control you and 1 vs 30 the Sith because of it! We've all seen that going wrong! And thennn.. Let's say, you just LOVE LOVE LOVEE your lightsaber and it gets stolen. Then you shouldn't get mental about it and kick up the person who stole it. You stay calm, discuss it like grown ups. And if there's no way that you can get it back, then you just let go of it and make an other lightsaber!"

"Oh! OH! Or when you have the dream to become the Grand master of the Jedi order, then you shouldn't let that dream control you. While it's fine to have that dream, it's not something you should reach for and abuse the Force because of it. Sure, let's say.. you want to become a battlemaster. Then you can train yourself to slowly fulfill that. But it shouldn't be the reason why you train. You train to become stronger, to protect the others! And another example. Let's say a Sith stands infront of you and goes like 'Yo mama is so fat, that she's the queen of the Hutts' then you shouldn't let the anger of these words drive you. Stay calm, think twice about it before you act. No matter how much it hurts!"

Kheera became a bit out of breath. She didn't notice it herself how quickly she actually spoke these words, without taking a decent break for air. It also didn't help that she was making big arm gestures while explaining it all, almost hitting Kai twice with her arms because of this.
