Hello there. I am wondering if anyone is willing to RP with my character, Kasari Erach. I don't really have any specific ideas on what the thread will be about so I guess this'll double as a brainstorming thread.

Two things about Kasari that are important is 1) she is looking for the Dark Jedi of the Bogan by traveling to unprotected Force nexuses and 2) she runs a small-time shipping company that consists of her freighter and nothing else.

Now, I do have some guidelines or general areas I'd like to remain in. First, Kasari is carrying some valuable goods she doesn't know are valuable. They're somehow related to the Dark Jedi, but what they are specifically I've only got a vague idea.

So, I guess the first brainstorm could be that Kasari is attacked by pirates while out on a job. Maybe she's transporting someone.



Note: Kasari isn't a smuggler. She's legit. So spice runs are off limits.

I really liked Kasari when I read her profile, so needless to say I'd love to get into an RP with her.

It might be a bit of a stretch but my character Samael works for the Cartel as a prospect at the moment. He's big, has experience with dark Jedi (he's an ex-acolyte), and would probably offer himself up as a body guard of sorts. Maybe Kasari would be worried about traveling alone and wanted to hire someone to just accompany her? Samael might be a good fit in that regard because he would have knowledge about Force related things, but having no ties to the Imperium anymore (that knowledge isn't known to anyone ic'ly anyway), he wouldn't have any benefit from finding these nexus' himself so anything Kasari finds would be hers to keep with no protest from Samael.

I dunno, just the first idea that popped into my head. I won't be offended if it doesn't mesh with what you're trying to accomplish. Lol

I don't know if I could really justify a bodyguard since Kasari's crew is made up of beings more than capable of defending themselves against most threats. Not to mention that Kasari isn't really the type to get afraid. Hell, she was merely shocked when a Force ghost appeared in front of her. She journeyed into wild canyons alone when she was a child. Its a good idea and all, but I don't think it really meshes well with Kasari's personality.

Although, if we were going into a particularly hot (as in excessively hostile) piece of space, then I probably could justify extra participants. Maybe a pirate's nest.

Legit. Kasari's legit. Slavery? Not legit.

Besides, slaves get in the way. They either turn out to be idiots who get vaped by an exploding collar or a child of the Force who sends the Galaxy into a dark abyss of slavery, xenophobia, and genocide. In other words, they're bad news.

Judging from Ye's profile he'd probably stick a shiv in Kasari's back while she's not looking or steal the Mynock's Revenge, anyway.

That's the fun part, keeping one eye open for one another while also trying to get the job done. But oh well its your call.

I'm still up for it. My bounty hunter's a go. Not sure how I would incorporate him, though. You could use cantinas, spaceports, city markets, and small village. The possibilities can be endless.

Private spaceports can workout if you're trying to incorporate pirates. Spaceport that is actually a private dock, security getting taking out by pirates. You decide to take a paying individual to a distant planet. Traveler turns out to be bad news and attempts to trap you with his gang of pirates. Random or not so random people come to help or attempt to steal the goods.

So, I'm going to try an flesh out the pirate idea.

While hanging out on Planet Y Kasari is hired to transport a person, probably Samael, to Planet F. En route they learn from Samael's bosses via hypercomm that the planet's spaceport, and subsequently Hutt goods, have been captured by foolish pirates. With no one but Kasari, her crew, and Samael around Kasari's job is changed from "transport" to "transport and kill pirates". To assist them, the Hutts have also hired a bounty hunter, Sephirium, who is waiting for the group on a planet between Planets Y and F. After picking up Sephirium they go on and "liberate" the spaceport.

Hope that made sense.

Sorry for the delay. Before I type up the IC thread I have to get my two ships approved. So I'll quickly type those up, get them approved, and then type up the IC thread.

Also, here is the official premise of the thread:

Kasari and her crew have just returned to their "base" on Gyndine from a low paying mission transporting weapons from Denon to Rhommamool. While out shopping with one of her crew mates she is approached by Samael who hires her to transport him to Bovo Yagen. Kasari negotiates a price and accepts the job. En route they receive a transmission from Samael's bosses that the spaceport over Bovo Yagen has been taken over by pirates. In order to receive her money Kasari is forced to accept that her mission has been changed from transporting Samael to Bovo Yagen to retaking the Bovo Yagen spaceport. After accepting the change Kasari is informed that Samael's bosses have hired a Mandalorian bounty hunter by the name of Sephirium Romaneri to help them retake the station and that he is waiting for them on the nearby world of Altier.


So, we'll begin on Gyndine and go from there.
