Murder = Paperwork (Amph / ask)

Inspector West returned to her office at the judicial branch investigations unit building. She sighed and shook her head as she saw the list of documents awaiting review on her terminal screen. Even though everything was done digitally, which made all the triplicate reports easier, she still had several hundred reports to deal with each week. Now that she was the lead inspector for the Sapphire Rose case that number had doubled, what with all the bogus reports of sightings or even people claiming to actually be the culprit so they could get some media fame. It wasn't long after she sat down and began to upload the data from this morning's crime scene that a group of officers escorted in a man clad in a black cloak.
Inspector West, we've got a suspect for you. He was arrested at the home of Miss Fira Hali
Betty lifted her eyes to the officer and then looked at the man in the cloak, her interest peaked.
I though that would get your attention. Miss Hali's intruder alarm triggered and we were on the scene pormptly. This man had forced entry through the window and was harassing Miss Hali and her guests.
Betty stood and walked out from behind her desk. She was a short woman but of no shy stature. Her posture was straight and as tall as it could be and she gave off an air of authority. The lead officer seemed to stand more at attention as she came over to accept the report of arrest and take custody of the man.
Thankyou officer... Dendrik. You are dismissed.
The officers saluted and turned about, leaving the office in quiet as Betty returned to her desk to look over the report, leaving the cloaked man standing in the middle of the room.

Just as Betty got comfortable at her desk a communicator buzzed in her field case. She fished it out and listened to the male voice as it said;
"What was the name of that poison, I'd like to research it."
Betty thought for a moment and then remebered the Jedi from the scene earlier.
I'll have to get back to you on that. I'm rather busy at the moment.
She said slightly impatiently. The name of the poison being so obscur she couldn't remember it off the top of her head. Not to mention the fact that there was a suspect standing in the middle of her office.

 

[Amphrimitis]

"Hello Miss" Amphrimitis said lowering his cloak, then taking it off and laying it over his arm. He then bowed. "I'll let you say whatever you need to say first" he said as he walked to a nearby wall and leaned against it. This is serious huh, no Jedi master to come get me out of this mess either

Betty looked up at the cloaked man. Her expression gave nothing but resentment to the man.
First of all you will address me as Inspector West, not Miss.
She scanned through the arrest report, her eyebrow raising at one point.
As I understand it, you claim to be a Jedi. Now what I don't understand is, you were alone when you forced entry into Miss Hali's residance. You are not a Master, I can tell simply by your attire and demeanor, so that must make you a student, at the most the rank of Knight. And from what I know of the Jedi, which is surprisingly quite a bit, all students are never far away from their Master. Please explain to me where your Master is and why you commited such a criminal act?
She arched her fingers together with her elbows on her desk and peered at him with a questioning look on her face.

Betty raised an eyebrow.
Well? I don't have all day...
The impatience in her voice was obvious.

 

[Amphrimitis]

"I left the temple. I needed a break so I flew over here for some action. I'm sure they will be after me and punishing me for doing such a thing as a jedi, but I felt in necessary before I go on my mission to find why there was murdered Padawans and Civilians on Ossus" he said as he walked over, gasping for air.
"I meant you no disrespect, I just would like to leave now, without a fight or problem of some sort" Amphrimitis stated. There would be no fight. The confiscated his saber, and without it, not even his force could help him.

Betty sat back in her chair and thought for a moment. She picked up the lightsaber that the officer had handed to him and examined it closely, seemingly unaware that the man was waiting in front of her desk. After a few minutes she stood.
As a member of the Jedi Order, there are certain exemptions that I am able to extend to you. I will release you, but you must immediately report to your superior at the Jedi Temple. Inform your Master that I will be contacting them soon on the matter of the charges brought against you by Miss Hali. Your weapon will also remain in my cusody until this matter is resolved.

Betty's communicator beeped at her again and she listened to what the Jedi had to say. Two names, Cyrinity Arlos and Rangu Ando. She ran a quick check on those names and their files came up on her terminal. All she could see was that they were invovled in numerous crimes and were simply your everyday criminal. She then looked at the man in front of her desk and thought. She activated her communicator and spoke.
Make your way to my office as soon as possible. I'll send the location to you via datamap. Tell the officer at the front desk you are expected.

 

[Amphrimitis]

"Well, I'll grab my ship and fly back to Ossus, I'll make sure never to come to this place again, for I might just be prosecuted for accidentlly dropping a glass, and offering to clean it up" said Amphrimitis with a smile. He wondered what she was talking about in her comm link.
"Perhaps if I help all of you, you'd give me my lightsaber let me go, and that would be punishment?" Amphrimitis said turning back around. If he was able to get his saber, he could help in their operation about these two people, and maybe catch them or do whatever was needed.

Hmm. Don't think you're getting of that easily. Your lightsaber will be handed over to your Masters at the Temple. You can claim it back from them and no doubt explain to the Council why it was ceased in the first place. I'm sure they will have plenty to say on the matter.

 

[Amphrimitis]

"Oh, I'd rather fancy an adventure catching criminal's, come on Miss!" Amphrimitis said in a mocking tone, but it was kiddish and playful. "I'd like to catch some scum before I return tot he temple for my next mission" Amphrimitis guessed it was very late now, sow why stop where he was. He was in trouble, he was a mess, and the masters would be furious, and maybe not even let him take the trials now.

"Very well" he said stumbling out of the office slowly.
