Why isn't this a thing, yet?

Everyone likes music and we all have different tastes in it, many writers even post themes to RPs and profiles, so come here and post w/e you're listening to right now or just, you know, share what you like and discuss it with everyone.
Let's keep it civilized guys and gals; no 'this is better that that' or w/e. If you don't like something, don't listen to it and don't pester people who do.

Share every song of every genre, from classical to death metal.

I think I'll start this with some prog rock/metal...

You're bringing me back nearly a decade to my high school year with that band drop. I almost forgot about EtF. Always good to rock out to some good old fashioned tunage.

I just came across this band the other day, but good god. So good.

To tell you the truth I haven't, until just now. I enjoyed it very much though, thanks for sharing. The contrasting vocals made me thought of Opeth though. Ever listened to them?

@stsjr Haven't heard of her as well. That's a very talented singer, aside from being hot XP. Was that a trip hop influence I just noticed?

Different "theme", but try this one for size and see if you enjoy it.
It's renowned, but did you know that the 3rd movement - probably - served as inspiration for John Williams' Duel of the Fates? The 4th movement is the best-known, though.

@Relent That drum and bass fill, particularly before the last chorus reminded me of Tool. [Be advised that the music video may not be suited for everyone]

Ha, yes, that's exactly why I dig them so much. Tool is my favorite band of all time no question, and their music has influenced my life in a profound way ever since I discovered them via my dad 15 years ago.
