Without the ion-blaster underneath, I'd say it wouldn't even require a write-up or approval. But as it stands, I'd like to see the ammo count of both lowered or possibly linked, because I can't see a secondary power cell. And ion weapons require alot more power per shot than a regular blaster. So if you fire one shot of ion, you loose three blaster shots.

/agree.

I would also want to know the range of the target-marker. Can it mark targets a mile away? If so, man that would be handy.

Anyway, a nice straight-forward profile.

You might want to detail the range of the ion blaster, as well. If you cut down on range, you could feasibly save power.

Thanks for reminding me of those little bits ( I always forget something ).
The ion blaster shares the same power cell as the blaster rifle, that`s why I wrote it consumes energy equal to 20 rounds/shots (basically half a clip when it`s at full capacity). However, I wasn`t exactly sure how much energy it would require while keeping it fair and balanced. The range ? Eeeeh, does 50 meters sound fair ?
As for the holographic target-marker/scope ... 300-400 meters ? Less?
Feel free to slap me in the face and correct me if I went too far.

HERE COMES THE SLAP!

Just kidding.

No that sounds pretty reasonable, but the 20 rounds per ion shot might be a bit excessive. Unless you're wanting a powerful ion blast, that is.

As for the ranges, that sounds pretty decent to me, but I'm not as much of a gun-person as Jiang or Kiro. More starships, really. Less pew pew, more vroom vroom PCHOOO PCHOOO vroom......vroom. :P

Ghah ! Oh, wait. Whew.

Okay, I`ll wait for Kiro or Jiang to give their advice. If my suggestions in my last post are acceptable and I get off slap-free, I`ll edit the specs.

I'd like the underbarrel EMP gun's ammunition capacity reduced to 4 shots on its low-power setting, and no more than 2 for its high-power setting; I can see either one being pretty effective against droid characters and anyone wearing power armor, hence the nerf.

Could you also explain what the target marking does, exactly? How long can it keep a target marked after losing sight on them? A few seconds at most would seem reasonable.

Ah, haven`t thought of that. A target should stay marked as long as it`s within sight of the scope, but after you lose sight of it ... eh, does 5-6 seconds sound reasonable?
So, 4 shots for low-power setting means one shot consumes energy equal to 10 shots while one shot for the high-power setting consumes energy equal to 20 shots, right?

That sounds reasonable, aye.

And yes, that's my thinking exactly.
