Where the Mandalorians had gathered for when the sudden call of Mandalore was sent to those who had sworn themselves to his and the Mandalorian cause, there sat a large holoprojector in the middle of the room. It was granted that not all were there, where some would not be able to make it or for reasons their own. The gathering was inside a large warehouse on one of their new worlds that the Jedi Alliance had granted them for military purposes and housing their civilians and so on.

Security was tightened all around, for only Mandalorians under Indomitable's banner were allowed entry to the building. Weapons were scanned for entry and anything larger then a Mandalorian class rifle was confiscated and left by the door for retrieval when the meeting was over. The same went for any explosive devices, projector weapons such as flame throwers and the like, and just anything that could cause a large scene. The place was also littered with the elite Mandalorians who were patrolling and keeping an eye on others in order to keep the peace.

A fleet had been summoned as well in the surrounding area, to ward off any unwelcome visitors. The Midway was among them, channeling and monitoring communications should a surprise attack or unexpected event occur. Suffice to say, the meeting was set and it was now time. As the holoprojector flickered some, an image appeared and was soon revealed to be Mandalore the Indomitable, donned in his armor and helmet as he stared down at all of his followers.

"My people, I can understand the pain and anger many of you are going through, for I feel it too. We have been banished from our home by the Sith and their Imperial dogs. It was not enough for them to just attack the Jedi Alliance, but now they have turned towards us as well. This is only the beginning, they wanted us to run and hide under their "might".

"They were fools, they have poked the beast too many times and it will remember. In time, we will reclaim our homes and all we have lost to those Sith. We will go toe to toe with their servants they call The Chiss, and we will destroy their Ascendancy. As I have said, this is only the beginning and if we are to have our justice, we must show the Sith we are not afraid and force them to witness as their slaves are broken before them. I only wish I can be there to watch as it happens.

"My Mandalorians... My Friends... I have failed you as Mandalore, for I hold part of the blame for our homes being taken by the Sith. It is then that I am stepping down as your Mandalore, and my successor will be decided by the Council that I have summoned here as well. I have full faith in them, and so should all of you. So I will take my leave, and walk the Galaxy as I leave you these last words.

"Never forget who you are inside, and always fight for the glory of not just your people, but your family, your friends, and for all who have suffered from these Sith animals. Feel no regret for them, they will never show you any.

"This is Mandalore the Indomitable, signing off."

With that, the hologram disappeared and the projector shut down, leaving the Mandalorians in the area to only question and discuss what has just occurred.

Natalie Bendak had been conversing with some of the other Mandalorians when she turned and watched Mandalore's holoprojection give his speech. After said projection ended, Natalie turned to a couple Mandos and gave her opinion.

I have doubts that this was the real Mandalore... He wouldn't abandon his people due to thoughts of failure, would he?

"Its true well be voting on who will take his place in a few days." he told his crew as he got up, "Commander you have the bridge call me if anything breaks security." he said leaveing the bridge via turbolift

Admiral Par'jila was on the Endless Dawn when the holoprojection came over, he watched it and nodded, he knew this announcement was going to be coming soon, he nodded to his XO as he headed out of the CIC and down to his quarters he needed to make a phone call.

Jenna was in her office on Fenris when the Holoprojection went across, she sighed got up from her desk and headed down the hall to Mandalore's office, she knocked on the door and waited for a reply.

Roxton sat at his desk, hands folded on top of them as he still wore his armor and helmet. Sitting in silence with only a few lights on in the office, he knew it would be time to leave soon. Already did he have what he needed prepped on his ship, and in time this Mandalore would be gone, remembered only by the people he served and eventually in the scrolls.

"Mandalore?" Aspect said, it's programing still set to address his master as Mandalore so long as he wore the armor. "Commander Jenna Wolf is outside your office."

"Send her in." Roxton said, his stance remaining as he stared down at his desk. He heard the door opening and Aspect allowing the Commander to enter the office. "You wished to see me, Commander?" Roxton asked her when she was close enough.

Arasa sat in the row of seats closest to Holo-projector. Due to the fact that her Blaster was the size of a wookiee's arm and attached to the arm of her armor, she was only wearing a white shirt, a vest, some brown pants, and her Helmet. She sat with her arms crossed as the Holo of the Mandalore played and he explained how he was stepping down. As it finished, Arasa thought to herself I never understood why we didn't put up much of a fight. I left my farm behind. Probably has fire damage and craters in it. She got up and walked over to a wall. Arasa leaned her head up on it, her fists clenched. She said to her self "Shabuir, Piece of osik, hut'uun."

Moraia’s sat in one of the seats in front of the hollo-projector, wondering what their leader would have to say. When it began she furrowed her brow beneath her worn helmet, watching the screen as their Mandalore spoke. It was indeed a pity that they had been forced to leave… but they were all managing, they were all working hard to make the best of a bad situation. She was shocked as he said that he was stepping down, she felt slightly betrayed and she would bet many others were feeling the same way about him at the moment.

“He wouldn’t just… he can’t just abandon us just because of that.” Moraia’s soft voice held all the sentiments of those around her. Disapointment, sorrow. “He can’t abandon us in the middle of all of this…” Moraia stood abruptly, emotions making her feel like she was in agony. She wanted to do something about it, but she couldn’t think of anything to do. Weakly she hung her head and sat back down, clinching her fists angrily, eyes closed. Now the only thing they could do was elect a new Mandolore… one that would be better.

Jenna entered the now former Mandalores office, she was dressed in her formal uniform and Ranger duster, she wasn't quite sure if she should salute him or what so instead she sat down in the chair across from him, leaning forward she looked at him, she would have met his eyes had he not been wearing his helmet.
"So I take it the duel with Corden Vencu didn't go well? but you know you're wrong right, you didn't fail us as Mandalore, what you did was let the pressure get to you, instead of standing up and saying no you will not take our homes, we will not go quietly into the night we will not lay down and let you run us out of our worlds, you thought about the people as a whole not just our military might vs the Empires, you thought about the people, about the children and civilians, you thought about the folks that would have died in the war should it have come to that." Jenna stopped for a moment, in the lighting in Roxton's office the scar on the left side of her face was visible a Vornskyr had clawed her in her earlier years and left a nasty 3 clawed scar.
"I just hope you know what you're doing, because we need a good soldier like yourself, if not to lead us then at least to fight with us."

Arasa turned her head and noticed a Mandalorian woman abruptly stand. After a few moments she saw that same woman sit back down with her head looking at the ground. Arasa thought to herself that the best thing to do right now was to help each other out through this crisis. She walked up to the depressed looking Mando and placed her hand on her shoulder. "I know a cantina close to here. Want to drink till we're batnor and can't stand? She said with a smile under her helmet.

Moraia looked up at the woman who approached her and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. She recognized her as the one who had gone to the wall after the announcement. The offer to go to the Cantina was a good one. She could always go for a drink, especially at times like these. Maybe this day wouldn’t be all bad. A sad look ebbed it’s way off of her face and she stood with a nod. “Sure. I’d love to."

Roxton looked towards Jenna as she took a seat across from him, her reflection seen in his blue visor as the marks of battle from the latest dual are still visible on his armor. He remained seated and hands still folded as he listened to the words of Jenna, and he almost nodded in agreement.

"I'll never abandon my people... my family. I did what was needed for all of our people. It we are to all die, it will not be a suicidal last stand. Some will call me... all of us cowards for fleeing instead of fighting... and I should have prepared better to even prevent this from happening in the first place."

Roxton spoke, unfolding his hands as they went to rest in his lap and leaned back slightly in his chair.

"No doubt you will hear the results of the dual. Corden and Aspect are the only witnesses to it aside from myself, there was no need to put on such a show for all to see. Corden wanted to fight me, and I lost. But do not think that is why I stepped down, there was more to it then just winning for honor. Corden... be careful around him, he is dangerous not just to us, but to all our people. He was willing to start a war with the Sith before any of this even happened. As much of a help he has been, he must never achieve the role of Mandalore. We'll face a dark path should that day ever dawn."

Jenna chuckled, this base had been set up by her as had all the security in it, cameras automated turrets and defense grids.
"Truthfully if I wanted the results of the Duel I could just go watch the security footage, but no need I agree on your assessment of Corden Vencu, he is power hungry, peronsally I think you should have killed the traitor when he first challenged you, after all any man willing to sell us out to the Chiss just to attain his own goals, and start a war just to prove he's right doesn't deserve to call himself Mando'ade, but that is neither here nor their." Jenna pulled out a data pad from her duster pocket, she ahdn't ever actually spoken with Roxton before now, and she was pretty sure he had never seen her out of armor, her uniform was crisp and obviously combat worthy, her hair was kept in a single braided pony tail down her back.
"I find myself in need of a captain for the Galaar class battlecruiser Richelieu, I'm offering you the position, the choice is yours she's currently in orbit sitting next to my ship the Kittyhawk." Jenna tossed the data pad onto the desk allowing it to slide across the desk and stop in front of Roxton.

"His moment will come, in due time."

Was all Roxton said on that matter on Corden before moving onto the next subject Jenna turned too. His hand moved to the desk, pressing two of his fingers onto the datapad to stop it as he lifted it to his view. He listened to Jenna as he read on the datapad. It was a generous offer, yet he didn't know for sure if he was right for the position.

Everything was still through his helmet's point of view, and realized he still wore the helmet and suit of Mandalore. That was no longer the case. Looking over it, his free hand reached back to his own helmet, disconnecting the locks that held it in place and prevented Corden from removing it in combat.

"It's a very tempting offer."

He started, setting the data pad down as both hands went to his head and removed the helmet from his head, setting it down onto the table so it's visor was facing away from both of them.

"But I have little experience commanding a ship on my own. Though... there is always a time and place to learn."

Jenna looked at him as he removed his helmet and set it down.
"Tactically, you're a genius, and you have a way with people I've never seen before, forget what those idiots that think of you as a coward, they don't know you or the kind of planning you're capable of, I know you are a great leader, and I want you in command of that ship as much as I need you in command of that ship." Jenna slid a small felt covered box over to Roxton, opening it up to reveal Captains rank pins.

((Very sorry for the delay))

"I appreciate the confidence."

Roxton said with a small smile, then looked at the pins that identified one as a captain, a fitting rank maybe for what he has done. It didn't matter to him in the long run if he was a Prime, a Captain or Mandalore's own personal guard.

"Give me a few days, I have to take care of some business and clear my head before I jump into anything. Though I can assure you I'll be accepting this offer. Thank you for this."

((No worries, I've been busy myself))

"You're welcome captain, your ship will be waiting in orbit, she's currently parked next to mine and your crew has already been assigned, I'll allow you to pick your own first officer if you have someone in mind, or one can be assigned, at any rate your ship and crew aren't going anywhere." Jenna stood up she had come a long way in her military career, and personally was happy with where she was at, she didn't like the idea of giving orders to the former Mandalore and so tried to keep things on a more informal level with him, but Informal was very hard for her to do.
