Kelada, 1151 local time
Now, they were walking—and had been walking for about an hour—through humid, bug-ridden, jungle, with green as far as the eye could see. The sky above them was green too with the leaves of trees hundreds of meters tall, and the ground was no different. It was hard to see where one was stepping through the bushes, which was why Milo was currently hacking through everything in front of him with a Sith sword. He had killed a fair amount of wildlife that way, though they were mostly nameless species that no one had cared enough to discover and mark down. They would not be missed, and he would not regret their deaths—jungles were dangerous, full of venomous creatures. He did not want to get poisoned by a kitten because he'd stopped to pet it.
A datapad in his left hand beeped like a sonar, slowly getting more and more frantic. It was how they knew they were nearing the coordinates toward their destination, since navigation through the jungle was impossible for them. Without the datapad, they would have gotten lost long ago—not that they hadn't been forced to backtrack.
It was a few more minutes of hectic beeping later that they finally came to a clearing. It was unremarkable save for the boulders in front of them. Even the rocks were equally irrelevant, if not for the door that had been built into them, which glowed faintly with the symbol of what he assumed was the seal of whatever group they were going to be wiping out today. Shutting the datapad off, he sheathed the Sith sword and drew his lightsaber in one hand and violator in the other.
"I'll vaporize the door and we can run in guns ablaze," he suggested.
