Need halo help

I have never completed the first halo...I know sad.

Anyway I have never completed the first game...I can't for the life of me get past the level where you first meet the flood...Where do you go? Can you direct me to a site that will help etc etc etc

and my personal recomendation, get a comfortable seat, grab a shot gun. And get ready for a long ride.

Follow the blue guy later on, once you find him. Also, use the shotgun only on the big guys, use a pistol or assault rifle to take out the little jumpy buggers.

All in all, keep moving, never stop, and keep looking all around you, the explodey guys can pop out of literally no where.

All true, but if you want to have some fun, then just run straight through and draw out every flood taht there is. Then once you reach the end of a corridor, just shoot as much and as fast as you can. Trust me its fun.

I had trouble with that level as well. It's probably the hardest level in the entire game. At the end of the level I was in a mixed emotion of celebration and that feeling when you've just survived something against the odds like I was trapped in a cave for a week with no food or water. My advice, just grab a shotgun and use it on the big guys. All ways look around for ways to get somewhere. And if you see anything run into a corner and shoot it while it's across the room from you. And if you're up high…you're still not safe.

I beat that level on Legendary with the plasma pistol. Infact, I beat the entire game with just a plasma pistol and stickies. I think the PP is the most powerful weapon in the first Halo, you can fire it so rapidly it's hilarious.

I just ordered both the games because my old xbox was shit and always fucked my discs.

And my new one came last week so I have to buy loads of games all over again.

And microsoft wouldn't send me the money to buy them because there customer care is shite

Yeah I loved the first Halo lol on the library me and my friend were playin on legendary and he would die cause he sucks and I'm good at the game so I would slowly sneak around crouched with the shotgun or assault rifle and just shoot the things, or I would hide in a corner and wait for them to find me then jus unload on them, cool watching from the 2nd players perspective since they're waiting to respawn and have a whole nother angle, if you cant figure things out get a friend to play with you, double the search party...

P.S.

Anyone think Halo 2 on legendary was gay? It wasn't that hard if you knew how to fight, and 2 player was gay cause if your teammate died you had to reload then Heroic was insanely easy like it was on normal or easy and your teammate could respawn.. thought that was lame...

Legendary became Heroic, Heroic became Normal, and Normal became Easy. Easy was just... too easy.

Thats basically what happened with the difficulties from Halo 1 to 2.

There was a huge jump from Heroic to Legendary in Halo 2 though, I was playin legendary when I first got it, switched to Heroic and it was so easy lol, still fun to mess around in though
