Neelu'Ri - Jedi Knight​

I live in servitude of the Force, within servitude of the Council, and most of all the Jedi. That is how it has always been, and how it always will be. I have been a Jedi for so long, it is hard to remember. Centuries, even. History has been made around me, for I have meditated with the force for so long. I am Neelu, and I am a Jedi Knight.

Never did I fit in with my peers, for I am a Neti. Other Jedi would fade and come and I would stay, like a rock. I made friends, but before I knew it they were gone, like brief rays of sunshine snatched away by an overcast sky. I came to the temple many hundreds of years ago, and I was trained and trained, and I continue to train - deep within my meditation. My memories of my early life are so sketchy, it was so long ago and so much has happened that I must fill my mind with since then.

I always get asked why I am not a master, after all my years of serving the Jedi. I suppose my answer would be that I have never participated in Jedi conflicts enough to really have ever been noticed. Perhaps if I stopped meditating on the intricate workings of the Force and joined in some of the battles, interacted, even took a student of my own I would be recognised.

During my life I have been to so many places, within the reaches of my own mind. I have been nestled in the mountains of Alderaan for so long, however. Soon, I know it is time I must act. I have not fought since the Alsakan began to trouble the Republic, and now I feel and hear the whispers of the Hutts taking up arms against the Republic.

Revolution appears to have occurred, and things are changing in my own order. They have an academy here on Alderaan, so I can feel through the heavy, beautiful force presence there. It is time I was roused from my slumber, and once again heard the soft hum of my lightsaber. I am a Neti, and I will fight for the Jedi once again, and I will bring the Hutts to retribution for disturbing my contemplative slumber! Then, perhaps, I will consider becoming more associated with the Order.

So now, I continue to home my force abilities, and I am beginning to become more and more... sociable with my fellow Jedi here on Alderaan.​
