The tale of the rivalry between Osarian and Rhommamool was legendary, perhaps as much as the conflict between the Jedi and Sith. It was the classic story of the rich exploring the poor and the latter being fed up with it and fighting back, something that could be seen across the entire Galaxy.
Nowadays, however, the situation between the planets seems to be at peace. Osarians no longer exploited indiscriminately their neighbors, with the situation of Rhommamool getting better in the past years. Or at least it was what the holonet showed.
It was with this atmosphere of peace that Elidan and Padawan Prani had been invited as representatives of the Order by Shunta Osarian Thurin, the elected leader of the planet. The chief of state had reserved a place for them in a hotel in Osa-Prime, the capital city. Said establishment was close to the ocean and their rooms had sight to the beach.
Elidan really had the impression that Thurin was trying to impress them.
He would have been more impressed if the man didn’t take so long to arrive for their meeting. Thurin was delayed for two hours! How was it possible? The chief of state wanted to talk with them in one of the balconies of the hotel, apparently because he preferred the sight from there rather than from his office.
“I brought some ice-cream.” Elidan signed, after having placed two bowls in the table where they had been waiting. His droid had translated the meaning of his signs to the Padawan. “They were the most expensive on the menu. I don’t think that the Shunta will mind.” he smiled, the man had said that they could have and use everything in the hotel that he would pay for. “So, what do you think of Osarian so far?”
