As far as worlds went, Jacob found Bimmisaari rather pleasant, in a quaint sort of way. He supposed he shouldn't have been surprised, not all worlds in the Empire were going to be dead husks of worlds like Korriban. It was nice though, to see trees again.

Fresh from his fateful meeting with the Dark Lord of the Sith, Jacob had been given an address in the capital city of Bimmisaari. He was to report there for the first of his training sessions in keeping his latent Force powers under control. It was a slightly intimidating task, Jacob was certain that not all Sith were going to be as well reasoned as their boss. That said, he was a little excited too. For too long he had ignored the part of him that was his mother's legacy.

He had landed in the main city port; it was a ways away from the place he was to meet his instructor, but Jacob didn't mind the walk. Public transport would have been more efficient, certainly but the Bimms had unique architecture and walking through the city was like walking through several different worlds all at once. It was a city full of alien sights, smells and sounds and Jacob drank it all in as he walked.

Eventually though, he came to his destination. It was a nondescript house on a side street, off a main parkway in what seemed to be a reasonably affluent part of the city. The breeze stirred an exotic array of flowers planted in the beds outside, filling Jacob's nose with faintly spicy aromas. He savored it, knowing that, at least for the next little while, he would not have peace.

With a great deal of trepidation, he pressed the buzzer and waited. He was expected and on time; it was about to begin.

Arnen stood awaiting a young Force Sensitive interested in the ways of the Dark Side of the Force. All who knew the Force should know the strength of the Force, when one can bend it to their will. Arnen stood, in his Sith Battle Robes, with his durasteel mask to the side of his face, as he practiced Teras Kasi, on a rough, patch-worked punching bag. Various other dummies and cheap training droids used to train Younglings in the academy, he'd taken on lend from one of the branches of the Korribani Temples. The prosthetic jaw that he had installed had been giving him fits, but the kinks had mostly been worked out. He hummed a metallic tune to himself, until he felt another, mildly familiar presence approached, and then a ring at the door bell. The fact that he'd sensed him was enough to tell him it was someone he had met before.

With intentions to recruit the man, as the skills he'd planned to teach him were not simply free lessons. He stopped striking the bag as the bell rang a second time before he walked to the front door, to meet Jacob Tagger. "Punctual. I like that. Come in, kick off your shoes, we have much to discuss," he said, matter-of-fact-ly as he stepped to the side to allow him in, a welcoming but stern look in his eye. His lower Cybernetic jaw was unmoving, only projecting a voice tuned by ear to sound similar to his own, before the humiliating loss of his jaw. "You were curious about what, specifically," he asked, closing the door, as the man walked in.

Jacob wasted no time. He didn't like being here; there was an edge to the Force that surrounded Arnen that Jacob didn't like. It felt so different from what he remembered of his mother and different still from the cold calculation and tamed violence that had swirled around Darth Vrael. He kicked off his shoes as instructed and walked into the room. What indeed. What indeed...

Jacob closed his eyes and began to breathe deeply. His mind cleared and all he had was purpose; it flowed to him from his desire to keep harm from coming to those who could not protect themselves. The Force bloomed to life within him...the polar opposite from what Arnen was used to feeling. Hope and grim purpose with the hard edge of resolve filled the Force around them. Furnature took to the air and floated. Apples in a bowl on a table took flight. The Force warmed the room, light and hopeful. He opened his eyes and everything settled back to the floor.

"I need to learn control and how to keep this ability from revealing myself to others who I'd rather not know." Jacob said. New to the Force, with only a few words as a child and hints from Darth Vrael, Jacob was unaware that his natural inclination was to use a part of the Force in a way that the Sith had long since snuffed out of the galaxy.

A light grin curled upward along Arnen's upper lip. "You've come to the right man, then. As a child, much of it was spent hiding this gift of mine, the one we share, in the Force. The first thing you should understand is using the Force to conceal it's own signature, in the beginning is difficult, like dead-lifting 200 pounds, but the more you do it, the less strenuous it is. But to hide one's Force Signature from other Force Sensitives, one must understand how a Force Signature manifests itself around a person. Taking Miralukans, for example, see solely through the Force, but their sight, and our sight operate differently. Force Sense, or the ability to sense other foreign Force Signatures, and seeing through the Force gives one a sort of supernatural sense, to detect changes in the waves of the Force, allowing one to detect danger, the intent of others, and the presence of other Force Sensitives. You probably felt my presence before you saw me. This is a passive ability afforded to all Force Sensitives, even before they realize their sensitivity, though, once this realization is made, one can access this ability on command, by focusing, through a form of meditation," he explained, walking toward a table, with a small bowl of fruit at the center, with a small knife that could be seen close by.

"Working like a SONAR, or a form of echolocation found in some sea, as well as flying creatures, this sense is sent out in all directions from the user, and picks up on frequencies, but unless trained, cannot pinpoint another Force User directly, but give an inclination as to their general direction. Another side of this, is detecting intent. Much like reading someone's body language, but this takes it one step further, to feel the aura around someone, making it able, with training, to feel intense dark emotions in someone, and being able to prepare oneself for danger. Dark intent feels faintly similar to a Darkened presence in the Force, say, from a Sith who's given him or herself to the Dark Side. The air around you will feel cold around that person, prior to an aggressive action. Though, this, too can be feigned with training, either through the Force, or through Teras Kasi, a styel developed to combat Force Sensitive assailants - something I, myself am fairly advanced in," he said, and without warning, he picked up a hefty apple and tossed it behind him, to Jacob, giving him a chance to see the apple, before grabbing the knife, and throwing it, deftly, sticking it into the apple, and pinning it to the wall behind him.
