Shikari made her way down the Halls of the imperial courts on Courescant, making her way towards the assigned meeting hall. Honestly, she knew that these buildings were designed to make visitors feel small and insignificant, but it made getting around annoying as hell. She had been summoned here for a new assignment. It didn't surprise her, as the current state of the Republica was tumultuous at best. They should be reassigning most imperial assets at this point to try and counteract the encroaching threat of the Mandalorians, and the new threat of the Jedi. But, so far, very little had been done, at least on the surface. Perhaps this assignment indicated that there were plans in motion unseen.

As Shikari reached the entrance to the meeting hall, she flashed her credential chip in front of the security reader and the door opened. Inside was a long table with many chairs, but all were empty, save for the one at the end. Sitting at the head of the table was an Sith asset manager, or handler as they were sometimes called. He would be of crusader level at least, but had likely shrugged off the burden of policing the realm in exchange for a nice desk job. Now he assigned missions and positions to other sith as a representative of the courts. The man looked up as Shikari entered. "Ah, Acolyte Shikari Gale. Please take a seat, you are the first to arrive. Once your two compatriots arrive we can begin." Shikari nodded respectfully and made her way to a seat towards the end of the table furthest from the handler. She was curious to see if he carried the same level of xenophobia that much of the Republican officials did. If so, this was going to be an annoying assignment.

A short distance away, Aerak was sharing similar thoughts to Shikari. Namely, Hutt Space. The whole system was approaching open rebellion. Although he'd participated in efforts to help reduce the pirate presence there, he had a feeling it wouldn't be enough. And now he was being called away on some new assignment? When almost a third of the Imperial Republica hung in the balance? Were they to lose it, it would be a blow from which they would never recover.

He entered the meeting hall, holding up his credential chip for half a second. He stepped inside, the heavy rumble of his boots shaking the chairs a little. He nodded to the man at the far end of the room, presumably the handler for this operation. At least, he assumed it wasn't the colorful alien just in front of him. He took a seat next to her, giving her a brief glance.

"I assume there's a reason I was called away from Hutt Space?" Aerak asked, crossing his arms.
