Location: Eriadu, Blackwell Technologies Office

"I'm very much aware of the issue," Julia clipped across the room, silencing one of the other occupants who was dialled in via holo "...what concerns me, and the board, is that you have yet to resolve it." she looked around the table, each 'seat' occupied by a holographic figure from a different regional office "Tatooine barely has a functioning road network, law enforcement is hardly a concern..." she continued, holding a hand up as one of the other members went to speak, cutting them off "I expect results. You have twenty-four hours."

Julia terminated the call, keeping the lights down as she leant back in her chair and massaged her temples. It was late, but the day was far from over. This issue on Tatooine was giving her headaches, and not just in the literal sense of the word. It had been going on for weeks now, disgruntled workers refusing to do their full shift, downing tools and walking out.

They should be thankful to even have a job. Julia thought to herself as she flicked open her computer and scanned the rest of her schedule. Callo? she'd never heard the name. Some businessman by the looks of the booking, looking to purchase a droid, or droids. "Vil," she clicked her comm open to her assistant "Why do I have a sales call? You are aware we work in Corporate Security and Counterintelligence, yes?" the response was curt "Yes Ms. Hipori, but the instruction was clear, the board want you on this one." Julia rolled her eyes and sighed "Fine. Show him in when they arrive."

Now that the Zaa Fenn had most, if not all, of the Eriadu underworld under its thumb, it was time to stack up on firepower and enforce it. The security droids the Mothraki Crime Family had sold them, the ones with illegal black market upgrades, were a start, but Preef's status as a legendary gunslinger in the Outer Rim definitely opened up some extra doors. Blackwell was eager to make a deal, so eager even that they offered up the Blackwell Offices on Eriadu so the rodian wouldn't have to travel far.

"Mr Callo?" Julia Hipori's assistant looked at him with smitten eyes, "Ms. Hipori will see you now." Preef had heard that a new western flick had come out; The Good The Bad and The Rodian, which had most of the civilized worlds going to the theaters and further increasing his celebrity to a point where he couldn't even go to his secret ranch on Takodana without getting recognized. This assistant was no different, but he ignored it and simply headed inside.

Ms. Hipori was beautiful and the high-end office furniture suited her as much as it didn't suit de rodian. Preef was dressed in his usual simple tunic and carried his trusted blaster pistol in his hip-holster. His head also wasn't in the fancy stuff.. he liked the outdoors, which wasn't a surprised seeing how he grew up in the overcrowded lower levels of Nar Shaddaa. The frontier worlds of the Outer Rim, like Tatooine, Corvus and Takodana were the only places he really felt home.

Making a straight line to Ms. Hipori's desk, Preef sat down on the opposite side of it and smiled confidently. "Name's Preef Callo," surely she'd have heard of him, because if she hadn't then that made his entrance somewhat.... well, somewhat awkward.
