New character here. New player- I have a few questions.

If they are posted somewhere on the site other than the Republic OOC then I apologize, but I could not really find the answers to my questions.
What are the limitations of my character when I create him? (Rank, skills, back story, etc.)
How do I sign up for the Republic once I have the character written up?

Ok, in the character profiles forum, there should be a thread that says Character Sheets, there you will find the regulations and overall advice about making a character
