Faan'tina mumbled sleepily, stretching her long green legs against the blue wrinkled bed covers. She drowsily registered that it must be morning, but without a clock it was difficult to tell. Slowly sliding out of bed, Faan'tina spared a few minutes to re-arrange herself, before slipping out through the sliding bedroom door. The Tien was very quiet this early, Faan'tina observed, as she tiptoed to the lounge. Hakim didn't appear to be in sight, so instead she settled into one of the deep comfy chairs to wait for him.
The events of last night were all a blur for Faan'tina; she recalled they had felt shocking at the time, but now the emotions had dulled themselves in her sleep. Realizing her mouth felt parched, but not recalling Hakim telling her where to find water, Faan'tina rose out of her chair to search for it herself, still scuffing her feet around groggily.
