I don't know how many people on this site play guitar, but I'm upgrading from my beginner stuff I bought last year.

I'm grabbing myself a Marshall Amp and a Ibanez at the end of the year, I would of got a Epiphone Les Paul, but I need a good guitar for heavy metal, and the Ibanez was the better choice.

Last year I bought a 10watt amp and some cheapo guitar that sounds like utter garbage, I've got my hopes that the Ibanez and Marshall will go together brilliantly, and they should, Marshall would be up with Line 6 as the top Aplifier creators.

I'm getting a Jackson King V with purple and black colors.

Then a 5-string red Squire Bass.

New amps for both.

And two pedals for each.

The guitar you picked out is good, but the amp isn't...

How big is it..? It looks pretty small to me...

380mm x 375mm x 205mm

It wouldn't be able to be used in a gig bigger then a decent sized bar, but I won't be playing any gigs, its only going to be used in my room.

10 or 15 watts, I think, might be 20.

Yeah thats way to small. Don't even bother dropping the money on that tiny Marshall. You could get a way bigger amp with another company, Marshall's stuff is overpriced.

Ibanez suck. They have a shit sound; if you want something, you're better off with a fender. There are 700 dollah SG's at the Guitar center; they're pretty sweet

I love SG's, and would get one over an Ibanez anyday, but I don't have more then 500 to spend on a guitar, I'm only a beginner.
