I have seen the time travel rumour around, but I can't be sure if it's true until an official announcement is made. As for budget problems, the producer, Ruck Mccallum, has confirmed that they are having serious budget issues because of what they want to do. I've seen the video where he does it and I'll post it when I find it again.

God I hope this isn't true. To be honest, I hate time travel ideas, with the only exception being Doctor Who. But everything else, no. It's an annoying plothole to a series and if you put it in the middle or late in a series that never involved it, it's going to bring more annoying questions than answers because most of the time the characters never do anything useful with the ability like bringing back an important character or preventing some disaster they wish they could have prevented. Putting that in Star Wars? Gtfo.

And before someone mentions it, yes I am aware of Flow Walking. But it wasn't that big of a deal.

What about LOST?

And as promised one of the many interviews that Rick has given on the subject of money and Star Wars: Underworld.

NOPE. Darth Maul with robot legs being canonized was bad enough (though I'm okay with it if Obi Wan still gets the final kill). We don't need time travel.

As for Flow Walking, it can't actually change the past, only people's perception of the past, which prevents any "stop Darth Vader from existing" bullshit. The Force fixes problems idiots like Jacen Solo (and the Underworld writers?) like to cause...

What about LOST?

I missed two episodes of LOST and I was on the road to nowhere after that. So I stopped paying attention to it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates that. Especially now that Savage and Maul are going to try and take over the Sith. Please, Maul is still a student and Savage was Asajj's guinea pig. If they go after Sidious he would crush them both.

Edit: Also, how exactly would two underground criminals discover Vaders identity? Let alone find/build some time travel device?

Since when was Vader's identity a secret?

Since after Order 66. No one really knew who Vader was other than Sidious and maybe a few other people that were close to him. But everyone else assumed Anakin was killed in the purge, which was a half-truth Sidious had everyone believe. But in Dark Lord: Rise of Darth Vader Vader reveals to Roan Shryne he was Anakin to rub it in.

Other than that, no one knew and as far as everyone else was concerned it was just wild speculation since all records were destroyed.

Oh well since I mostly disregard everything that has to do with the prequels of anything in between Ep. III and IV, I didn't know that. You learn something new everyday...

He did? I thought it was to rub it in that the Jedi failed.

Myself too, mainly that the reason it won't be out til 2015 is budget problems. Yeah, okay.

That part is actually accurate. They've spoken before about how they wrote these like an hour long movie in each episode, so the budget would be massive. They have to find a way to do what they want to do cheaply.

Something in my gut tells me they're going to try going to 1,000 ABY.
