New Timeline Coming in December

Mandalorians were around way before 1032. The Taung, the species that created the Mandalorian culture, were around since the beginning. They battled on Coruscant with the first ancestors of humans. I'd say the Mandalorians would have been in full swing during this timeline because Mandalore the First created the Crusaders between 24.000 BBY-7,000 BBY and slowly took other species they saw worthy from the planets they conquered into their culture. (I love all things Madalorian, lol)

Wanted to ask though, is there a set date this month that the SL will launch?

We wont be using legends canon, so the Taung are no longer the origin of the Mandalorians on the site. Mandalorians will exist but they wont be playing any particular role in the timeline unless players push them into such a role.

Yes, we will be starting over. New characters, new environment and circumstances, brand new story.

The new timeline is in prehistory, a millennia Before the Battle of Yavin. Sometime around/during the Hundred-Year Darkness. So how big of a part would they play if players pushed for them to be bigger part of the plot?

I might make a Mando as well. The more I think about it, it would be a very interesting take on the early years of the Mando culture.

We could be the ones who basically form it in this time if no one else wants to. Maybe be a splinter faction that firms the modern ones?

No. PCs will not be able to have dual factions, except under the circumstances of espionage, such as spies.

Yes, switching factions has always been possible and I'm sure it'll be possible in the new TL
However, such actions will properly require some IC justification, and it wont be something you'll be able to do willy-nilly.

Can anyone post a link of the history around that time period. I'm not as knowledgeable beyond Revan's years. I know a few nuggets of knowledge but nothing to consider star wars prehistory my strongsuit
