Hello all! Brand new to the site, but not new in role playing. I'm a friendly individual with a wide variety of characters, each with their own unique personality and story! I'm capable of posting multiple paragraphs per post and adaptable to almost any story or era given to me.

To those who are interested, I mostly play in Clone Wars era, as it is the one I'm most familiar with, and usually play as characters that come from lesser known species in the Star Wars lore. A handful of characters are from fan-made species though in the case you don't mind something new.

Well, welcome to the site! I'm always happy to see a new RPer on the site. We are going through some big changes with switching the Timeline to appr. 1,000 years before the Era you are used to RPing in, but it shouldn't be too big of an issue I hope ;)
Either way, with the new Timeline and Movie, we are adapting to the New 'Disney' Star Wars Canon (with some aids from EU, since there isn't an excess of canon to go off of as of now), so the EU species will likely be off limits. HOWEVER, Fan-made species are certainly allowed provided they have an approved Write-up! So, if you have a write up you can barrow or write out for the site, the Admins in charge would be happy to give it a look and throw it into the mix. I happen to know for a fact there will be a plethora of fan-made species offered at the start of the new Timeline (as I happen to be one of the folks working on a species write up). I hope that this doesn't put a damper on any of your plans!

*NOTE: The Next Timeline should be rounding the corner fairly soon. There is no exact date set, but it won't be a 1-second switch over. We will have some sort of warning before it happens, so don't worry about being thrust into a New Universe without warning or time to adjust. However, when the New Timeline does come around, EVERYTHING will be wiped clean, and anything that you want to use for the next timeline that isn't backed up on say a word doc for ex, will be lost if it isn't in the New Timeline Work Shop.

My Personal recommendation is that you start up one of your characters now, and RP with it until the New Timeline comes around (which could end up taking a little while longer). This way, you can develop friends on the site and get used to how we do things around here. When the next timeline comes, you can decide whether or not the character you've made is worth keeping around or if you want to make a new one (bearing in mind that characters from this timeline will have to start over if you intend to use it at all- which is highly recommended against by site leaders; though that is more for those of us who've been RPing on here a while). I'd say that you should use a character you don't mind not being your main character, since the new timeline will give you a lot more options than this.

PS. You don't have to read ALL the above Links, though I recommend you take a look at the Rules Link and the Character Profile Template Links at minimum. The rest of the links you can survive without! GL!
