Rykis could see ahead of him the spot where he would finally rest. This has all been madness, absolute madness, he thought. But he would rest against a lone tree in the middle of an open field, coloured vibrantly throughout.

As he drew near, it started happening again. The saturated vibrance that painted his surroundings began to decay, and soon the field was full of dead grass and grey sky.

However the lone tree remained the one part of it all that maintained its beauty.

He didn't know much what to think of it yet, in his exhaustion the only sign he could extract from this crazy world guided by signs was that even if nearly all is lost, he still had something.

A few steps away, his muscles began to crave the feeling of resting his back on the trunk of the tree. Then it happened again. The tree made a deep cracking noise, and fell over from the base of the trunk, leaving a semi smooth place to sit without back support. He didn't have to subdue any frustration this time, he was so tired his thought was "I'll just sit."

His back was uncomfortable, as he knew it would be, and only then did it click with him. He kept his anger in check his whole life, but this was the final nail in the nonsense he knew to be his life. There was no rest. What else could he do besides fall into his deep reserve of rage he's been hiding so long, and scream through this solitary field, as loud as he -wanted to-.

The low growl expanded until it exploded into an ear shattering cry, filling the field and surely beyond it with the sound of pure rage.

And immediately, he had triggered something.

Lucya was a world of dreams, emotions, and imagination. Nothing surprised Rykis.

The field went dark, he didn't bother asking where the sun went.

He felt a presence coming to him, the darkest he had ever felt. But it didn't scare him, it stimulated his every sense in an indescribable way.

He sat, and waited anticipatingly for whatever was next.
