CDR remained silent, listening as she spoke of The Accord and the rules that hold it together. Everything she said about it made it seem like he would fit right in, though hurting the right people while not harming innocents was always different from the organization's perspective. But he thought he was only overthinking it and gave a single nod. He mostly approved of the no deception between members part of the deal.

"I never did get your name. But I'm curious on what the general work that happens in The Accord, namely the ones that we are hurting?"

"Ah, sorry about that." She said it, somewhat embarrassed. She got caught up in talking about the group... again. "Bria Tsuani, at your service. I'm one of the founding members of the Accord. I handle a lot of the legwork, and sit on our council representing the army."

She thought about his question for a moment before responding. "Slavers, Pirates, Warlords, the like. For example, we recently undertook anti-slaving operations on Ryloth, begun organizing the oppressed miners on Mon Gazza, and supported a deviant hive in danger on Geonosis."

"Those sound like the typical ones you would find around these parts. I think I can live by those laws with no issues, Tsuani." He knew this place had more then several undesirables living here or passing through, but Bria's words eased any doubts CDR may have had on who they would be hurting and who to not hurt. "I think I'll make a nice addition to The Accord, and look forward to proving it."

"I look forward to seeing you prove it." She quirked a smile as they entered the landing bay. Across the rows of starfighters, transports, and gunboats sat her own ship. The Guardian-Class. Something of an anomaly for a ship, and she found herself quite proud of it in turn. Good for taking her wherever she needed to go with enough guns to make a patrol ship antsy. "I'm driving." A small panel opened on the side, and she unlocked the ship's systems, opening the top and extending the small ladder allowing them to enter the vessel.

Allowing Bria to enter her ship first, CDR followed after her inside, taking the exterior and then the interior of the ship in. He hasn't seen a ship this nice, not even the one belonging to his old crew were this nice or advanced. "I wouldn't have it any other way. It's an impressive ship you have." Once they were inside, and before Bria could set a course and get them off the station CDR had been stuck on for so long, he spoke. "Before we leave this place behind, is there any questions you have for me? It would only seem fair, and you know very little about me."

She looked back behind her seat at the new recruit. Yes, she had a good feeling. "Your past is your own. If you have something youd like to get out, you can speak freely. But I wasn't lying when I said we didn't care about where you came from or what you did. All that matters is what you do going forward." She began the ship's pre-flight check, starting the reactors and readying the ship for takeoff."

"Very well, but I once was with a band of mercs, more like a band of thugs really. I led them for awhile before I got tired of them, what we were doing and I left, even though it left me jobless and shipless. Preying on the weak, taking things from hard working individuals, there is nothing to gain from that lift, and it's not how the Galaxy itself will move forward. That's why you found me there, and thanks to you, I have a shot of putting my skills to actual use."

CDR explained, even though Bria did not care, he felt she deserved to know what sort of person he really was rather then just an armored cage fighter she found in a fueling station. But she was right, that what he did before no longer mattered and only what he did now did.

Brie waited until after he finished, listening through his story. "Interesting" She said, kicking in the Repulsors and turning the ship around to face the bay doors. "Fair warning, I ran a raiding crew myself. Then I was lieutenant for an even bigger one. And I became its leader by killing the leader. Who was also my husband." It was weird hearing her put things into such layman's terms. And bringing back memories of her late husband weren't pleasant. But, she's reply to his honesty with her own. "Not on purpose, but it hardly matters now. And I guess I should be thankful it snapped me out of that life. It's why I'm doing what I do now."

Having heard Bria's own story on her past after his, CDR gave a nod to her. He is positive she has received sympathy from many before, but instead of offering some, he said instead "I guess we're both no longer who we were before. In a way, we ourselves become stronger for them, and we forge ourselves into superior beings."

A part of him did wonder about his life before leading the mercenaries, on what he may have been. He knew for awhile he had missing memories, but never thought too heavily on them because it was a waste of time and if anyone from his past knew him, they would have most likely tried to find him. Who ever he was before then was gone, the guy job hopping and station jumping was also gone.
