Thousands of fluttering code. Bank Encryptions. Transaction Logs. Debts owed. Tons of streaming information circledthe mellow Thalin. It had only been a few days before that he took down that entire Republic base, without so much as waving his hand around. The new base he had aquired on Hoth was nowhere near pleasurable, but it was safer than the one he had on Courescant. Pity, the steel floor was frosted, and the pale walls barely rose a degree as the heat poured into the room from a below ground duct. His normal black gear and mask were always on, regardless of the temp. It just seemed correct at this point in time. It was a blizzard out, and turrets guarded the cave entrance to his humble abode. Not much more than Insta-Meal packets, a cot with several blankets, and an overhead Holo Projector for larger scale planning.He sat in his swivel chair in the center of the room, using his Glove-puter and Kinect Glove to browse several things he needed to do today. Forward a few million credits to a foreign, encrypted account. Down the FASA network, delaying all ship travel to and from several outer rim planets. Bankrupting several Mom-and-Pop corporations that dealed in electronics, thus further crippling the already staggering economy. Same old, same old. He sighed, in his soft soothing tone, leaning in his chair. His hidden arm blades rustling slightly as he shifted. All of these were small steps towards accomplishing his goal. Very, VERY, boring and simple ones, but key steps indeed. Soon enough the Republic would begin full on man hunts for him. They wouldn't be able to track him, no trail. The wouldn't be able to identify him, no face. And he'd be damned if they could stop him. Only one worry came to him, flying. He hated flying. finally, he came across something of a surprise.

The transaction list was unremarkable. File updates were un-amusing. But it was their cash flow that was interesting. They pulled in credits rather quickly and in bold leaps. He got a strange idea. Why not go for one of the king pins now? it wouldn't hurt would it? The code would be far from easy to crack, which was no surprise. Security was probably a high priority, and monitors would probably be put up everywhere. He felt risky today. Several finger flicks later, and one of the monitors was down. He felt he'd been sloppy here, but no matter. What could one shipping company do, that the Republic had tried and failed to do over 1000 times? He was too good. The Holo Net, and all technology in his opinion, was no more than scattered code. It could all be broken down, and rewritten to fit his purposes.
