Jett was no fan of Tatooine. He hated the heat. He hated the sand, that got literally everywhere. From the cracks on a ship to the crack of his ass. But most of all he hated that he could have, and should have, been anywhere else.

The job was done, the cargo was delivered. He should be jumping to next job. Only, he can't jump anywhere. His drive was down, and the Hope was as old as the force itself. Out here that meant a Sith Lords ransom for a second or perhaps fourth hand part off a ship the was more than likely the wrong series or model in the first place.

So with no other choice, the half orc clipped on his gun belt and threw on the old vest. Smashing the button to lower the ship's loading ramp with the bottom of his fist. He followed it to the floor of the bay and walked into the sand kissed hell scape that was Mos Espa.

There was no fan on Tatooine. Unless you were indoors with one blowing or in a ship with air conditioning. Unless you just liked the heat you might not like the sweat if sweat had something to do with your species. Human, Anzat, whatever, this woman was, she had a bead of sweat sliding down her countenance already.

She didn’t hate the heat, not necessarily, but she hated having heat on her tail. Not specifically the police. Not exactly the army. Well, maybe something in between. Maybe mercenaries. Hopefully, though, they wouldn’t find her in this city. Maybe they were too busy searching Mos Eisley.

The woman walked down the busy street beneath sunlight, bright above the denizens unable to escape the heat just like her. Maybe they’d bow their heads, or had a hood over their visage, or a blue bandana around the lower half of their face to catch the sweat like she did.

Hands in pockets, long coat not zipped up but covering most of her equipment, she walked quietly despite the crowded city. Chaotic. Nonstop traffic, pedestrian or otherwise, but a curious silence to her. She minded her own business, walked tall, ignored the market stalls, and the ships docking the distance.

Lumbering his way down the ramp of the ship, Jett made his way from the open air landing pad and into the growing crowds of the dusty streets. There was no fear of anyone stealing the ship, because well it couldn't go anywhere. And no one in their right mind would steal Tee. Despite the minor upgrades, he was still older than R-series and looked it.

In any case. The towering half orc weaved his way around the crowed mess of people and vender stalls. Both legal, and otherwise. He would give the market place a lap around. Just to make sure there were no junk dealers with any good deals, then he would half to look for a ride into the wastes.

“STOP THAT MAN!”

The shout came from behind her. Fear didn’t factor into her movement. It was instinct. She was curious. As anybody would be so she turned to face the scene.

A man, a Tw’lek, was weaving between pedestrians, oblivious to the consequences as he shoved past shoulders and outright knocked others to the ground.

“THIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEF!”

And he had a jacket as long as she did to clearly indicate whatever he had taken was likely within it. The man bound onward between the market stalls, running for his freedom if not quite his life.

-CRACK!-

He stopped running the moment Juby swung her leg backwards and smashed her boot into his chin. He collapsed like a sack of watermelons, though no blood exploded from his nose and his chin was potentially unbroken. Not that she was particularly interested.

Looking as innocent as she was given that she had just acted in civilian justice, Juby crouched down to the thief, hands patting him to check his condition. In reality she had deftly shifted through his pockets with the expert precision of a thief, found a handful of credits, and slipped them into her pocket.

At that, she walked over to a market stall in the near distance, ordered a hotdog, paid for it and began to chow down. All that walking, all this running from her enemies, had suddenly reminded Juby that she was pretty kriffing hungry.
