STATISTICS

Taller than most others, and also much more physically prominent, he possesses a unique, animalistic strength about him. | Dexterity:■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ The biological constraint of having claws as opposed to dextrous finger pads, limits Noble's dexterity. He does, however combat this by practicing his fine motor skills often. |

STRENGTHS
| __As a Bothan, Noble is awarded certain natural benefits such as increased endurance, a primal ability to track his target through most any environment, increased sight. Due to his unique nature of being a quite large Bothan, Noble possesses singularly increased strength, much more than that of an average Bothan. Beyond his natural gifts, Noble also possesses a uniquely calm, natural disposition that allows him to more easily tap into the Force. It is suggested that this is the key factor in Noble's placement as a Jedi Consular. |
WEAKNESSES
| __Like most creatures with increased senses, harsh light, thick and foul smells, and loud noises put Noble in a state of disarray. Furthermore, his unique nature in which he has so willingly devoted his life to the Jedi Order seems to be a sore spot for him. |
PERSONALITY
| __Knight Talatheen, a largely formal Bothan, somehow manages to remain very casual with his superiors and students. It is attributed to his Bothan heritage and the seemingly species-wide notion of self-importance; In Noble's case, he makes a point of being respectful, but holding little weight in the titles of anyone, including himself. Beyond the formalities of the Jedi Order, Talatheen is typically a very calm person. He is very easy to get along with, and is often referred to as 'big and cuddly' unbeknownst to him. All the positivity surrounding him comes at a tradeoff, however. Talatheen is fiercely loyal to those under his charge and in his presence; in this case the New Jedi Order. In the event that they are truly put in harms way, he will alter from his largely defensive, passive and peaceful ways, in favour of what is referred to as 'releasing the beast'; or in Noble's case, the use of the seventh form; Vaapad. __Worth noting, is that like all Bothans, Noble has mood-sensitive fur. For the most part non-Bothans are oblivious to the changes in him as he is able to mask his emotions very well. However, someone who knew him very well, or another Bothan would be able to see through his façade with ease. |
SKILLS
| __Worth discussing first are Noble's linguistic capabilities. Capable of speaking fluent Galactic Basic, in addition to understanding Shyriiwook, he is fluent in Bothese, the spoken language of the Bothans, and also in Botha, the written language of the Bothans. Broadening beyond linguistic traits, Noble is a keen, keen user of the Force. __Powerful in his own right, the Jedi Knight is capable of amazing feats that play on his natural assets. Beyond skills of the innermost level, Noble has very little to offer the Jedi Order as he is not particularly good with technology of any kind. |

BIOGRAPHY
| __Noble Talatheen was once, in his younger days a member of the Bothan spynet. Having been stationed on Nal Hutta, the young Bothan was Forced to watch, day by day, some of the most heinous crimes the galaxy had to offer. Never having been a true believer of the Bothan Way, which more or less stated that a being should hold only his or her own beliefs or goals as important, and to pursue them with the utmost vigour, even if at the expense of others. It was probably why he was given such a lowly post in such a dismal area, as a way of punishing that action. __After several years of putting up with reporting back on the greedy, hateful acts that took place upon Nal Hutta, Noble took it upon himself to take action. Being quite large by Bothan standards, gave him an inaccurate sense of his own strength and intimidating abilities. It did not take long for Noble to be set in the alley behind a well known Syndicate establishment, bleeding and broken. Were it not for the Jedi who found him, took him to the Jedi Temple on Tython for recovery, Noble would surely be dead. __Once fully recovered, Noble dreaded the moment that he would be asked to board a transport and leave the Jedi's spiritual home world. To his surprise it never came. Curiosity and a sense of responsibility drew him to seek out someone and gather an explanation for the kindness he had been shown. After a lengthy discussion lasting the better part of the waking hours of two days, Noble finally asked if he were able to stay permanently, to be trained as a Jedi and to repay the debt owed by means of his service to the Order and to the people of the Galaxy. __Without hesitating, the Order accepted him into their ranks, and he was quickly trained in the ways of the Force, the lightsaber, diplomacy and all other things related to becoming a Jedi Knight. Upon confirming that the Bothan had, in fact, followed the code and passed his trials, he was promptly promoted to the rank of Knight, and set upon the galaxy to make his make. In truth, Noble merely went back to Tython, in hopes of further understanding himself, the galaxy, and the great difference between his people, the Bothans, and his family, the Jedi. |
