The navel survivors suddnely found themselves being threaten with guns by the stormtroopers and their reaction was utter horror and raised their hands up. None was more evident than the expression of Ensign Sola whose eyes bore fearful shock as Wes' pistol pressed to her head. Still she tried to hold unto her discipline but her voice was shaken up.

"I'm not with the pirates I swear. We escaped because the marines who were us bought us time fighting them off before they were overwhelmed. We hid in one of the corners but I peek out and saw many Chiss heading for the gun deck and heard a lot of gunfire back there, ten minutes ago. Also there was few of them remain gathering much of the cargo near the barracks. That all I know honest, please we're not traitors."

Cristo thought all this new information was hard to trust, but yet if this is really suppose to be a trick it seemed too obvious on the pirates' part. Suddnely a communique surfaced on the stormtroopers' channel from the captain on the Destroyer they came from.

"Squad one and two, some of the turolasers on the Noblesse are shooting at our vessel, shut them down!"

Acknowledging the new order, Morrell signal Wes and the troopers to cease aiming their weapons at Sola and her followers. So she was right all along and the pirate' objectives became clear, they were using the turrets to provide cover for the Chiss frigate and to make sure those with the supplies are able to escape back to their transports. This meant that some of these pirates more than willing to sacrifice themselves, a very unusual trait for their kind.

Why haven't they try using the ion cannons yet, perhaps whatever left of the gun crews were resisting or type of those guns weren't working. With this new problem came opportunity that surface in the corners of his mind. They should not shut down the turrets but instead use them against the pirates fighting in space.

"Private Morrow I want your squad to assault the pirates at the barracks, make sure they don't get away. Use whatever means you feel is necessary. I'm taking my squad and these sailors to go after the turrets. If you acheive your objective before us, then link up at the gun deck we're going go to turn the tables on these space-rats. Alright ensign you're leading me to the turrets...now."

After he spoke, Cristo directed his men and Sola's crew to follow and they ran out of the hall into the next one. The reason why he let Sola and her boys accompied them is because he needed the extra men and they knew the ship better than him. Meanwhile outside the barracks which was covered in burn marks and corpses from both sides, a small group of pirates were still gathering crates and barrels to put them on several hoverpods to deal with the heavy weight.

However they were so busy doing this that they didn't bother to post sentries and were unware that Morrow's squad found them and were at their rear.

Wes continued to stare into the woman's eyes, his finger pressed upon the trigger, the ability to pull the trigger never being more than a thought away at any given moment. While he was still concerned about her true loyalties, with a brief clicking sound of annoyance, the Private lowered his weapon and holstered it, looking to his men for a moment as they lowered their own. Giving the woman another quick glance, he would rejoin his squad, taking a moment to recheck his weapons.

Continuing to examine their weaponry until the next series of orders were given, upon being told to go clear another section of the ship, a smile formed beneath his helmet, taking his scatter gun and slinging it up over his shoulder and nodding his head. This was going to be a blast... And if he had his way... And he would.. There was definitely going to be a missile launcher firing at some point.

"Right away sir. Squad. Move out." he would state at conclusion of Morrel's instructions. Taking the lead of his squad, the Stormtrooper led his troop through the ship, shuffling their way toward the barracks, keeping their steps lights and their eyes open, not wanting to be taken by surprise again. What happened next wouldn't be for the faint at heart..

As they turned the corner, taking notice of the pirates loading up the supplies, Wes signaled his squad to stop, taking a moment to quietly raise his rocket launcher up onto his shoulder, loading it and keeping himself out of sight for the time being. With the weapon being primed and readied, it wasn't until he was looking through the targeting reticle that Wes made another move, stepping out from around the corner, his finger easing back on the trigger and the sound of a high impact explosive being projected would be the last thing that many of the pirates would ever hear.

In an instant, an explosion erupted, debris flying all about while the other members of the squad would step up and begin to fire on the previously unaware enemy, leaving the discombobulated pirates to deal with an unending stream of blasterfire. When Private Morrow suggests overwhelming force, he tends to mean it. With any luck the other squad would carry out a similar approach, the Pirates controlling the turrets would certainly be a bit more aware of their surroundings.. Particularly after an explosion.

"Kill them all! No survivors! No mercy!" Wes called out to his men.

The brutality of Morrow's assault nearly wipe out much of the pirates gather around the supplies. Screams and curses in chebuch filled the hall in the midst of the onslaught. Those who survived the missile blast and the initial volley and able to move fell back into one of the barracks. One of the Chiss rolled two frag grenades toward the stormtroopers while another provided rilfe fire to cover him. But the rifleman was immediately torn to shreds by the marksmanship of the troopers but it was interrupted by twin expolstions that rocked at the Imperials' position.

Even though Wes and his men had caught their enemies off-guard, the fight was far from over. The grenadier ran back inside where the other pirates prepared their final stand. They alerted their colleagues elsewhere on the ship about the situation. A large host was manning two of the turolasers or trying to finish off the Imperial battery crew at the main ion cannons. They already knew trouble was coming but the fact that the suppiles were lost was disheartening to say the least.

Meanwhile Cristo and his batch were running up to the upper level where the gun deck was. Yet the Chiss Raiders sent a machine gun crew at the entrance as the welcoming committee to Morrell's squad once they appeared.

"Grenade!"

Leaping out of the initial point of impact, Wes would leap away, dragging two of his squadmates out of the blast zone. While several of his men were hit in the ensuing blast, there were no casualties that the Private could locate. There were wounded however and that only served to annoy the overly aggressive Stormtrooper even more. Who did these people assume they were dealing with?

With his troops taking position on either side of the door leading into the main chamber where Wes could only assume that there would be one hell of a fight. Motioning to the doorway, one of the soldiers would begin setting charges while the others would shoulder their weapons. As the charges went off, the door would suddenly explode, blasting inward and the troops would do what they did best.

Flooding into the room, guns at the ready, the soldiers would open fire, immediately sustaining one loss which admittedly took a stab at Wes' confidence. He hadnt; been expecting -this- much resistance. There were so many more clustered into one area. Gritting his teeth and bringing his scattergun up into his hand, he would extend his arm, pulling the trigger, taking out one Pirate in a shot which took them up off of their feet.

"Go! Go! Go! Drive them back!" he would call out as his men continued pushing into the barracks, forcing a slow retreat, the intent to corner and eliminate all of their targets in one confined area proving to be the ultimate goal in this fire fight. This of course was probably the riskiest battle thus far and thus the use of cover proved to a necessary effort as he himself immediately took a place behind a shipping container so that he could discard his scattergun and instead take up his pistols.

Things were getting messy in the barracks but with any luck, things would be going better with the lasers.. Somehow he doubted it would be a lot easier there however.

The Chiss pirates in the barracks, were being forced back against their will. They ask no quarter and gave none, intending to resist to the bitter end. They maybe were pirates but they were still members of the Chiss race, fought as such. Even as they slowly fell back the pirates timed and focused their shots on any stormtrooper advancing in front. One of them however placed himself in the side of the ship container where Wes just taken refuge at.

Fortunately for the private, his hidden foe had lost his blaster, but was armed with a vibroknife instead. Desperate to kill this Imperial next to him, the young Chiss, no more than a seventeen years old boy rushed at Wes out of the shadows, aiming to stab at the trooper's neck with a quick thrust. But the hum of his vibroblade, gave away his presence too soon, giving Wes enough time to react.

Cristo leading his pack, continue to run getting closer to the gun deck. They were only a few feet away from a corner leading to their destination. Just as they were about to turn the corner, Cristo signaled them to halt. Then through his helmet's comm channel, Sgt Morrell ordered two troopers next to him to prime their frag grenades and toss them then they attack. They got to right at the edge and did as ordered.

Soon the small explosives were flying down the small hall that seprated them from entrance to the gun deck. The Chiss machine gun crew duck for cover upon seening the small bombs landing close to them and they went off. Cristo and his squad used this small window of opportunity and ran out of the corner, firing away. The Chiss gunners recovering from the twin blasts, were immediately shot down. Some of their partners at the lasers however came through the door, firing away at Cristo's squad.

Wes barely managed to turn his head in time to catch sight of the Chiss as it charged him, a genuine sense of dread washing over him as he realized exactly how close he was to death in that instant. Along with this sense of dread however, came a rush of adrenaline and an overwhelming desire to live. A desire which would lead the Stormtrooper to quickly hold his arms up in an 'X' pattern, his arms pushing the boy's arms upward, his hands grabbing onto his arm and tugging him down to the ground, swapping himself down around behind him while digging his knee down into the small of his back.

".. Big mistake.." Wes commented, bringing his pistol to the back of the alien's head and pulling the trigger down, a single shot being fired, snuffing out the rambunctious pirate in one shot. Showing absolutely no pause or remorse for what he had done in spite of having a moment to understand how young the target had been. Standing up and joining his crews advance, he momentarily took a moment to appreciate the fact that he would need to see about gaining a set of armor with fewer vulnerabilities.. The Centurion armor's neck -was- an appealing target.. Far too fragile.. Even if they really weren't.

"If one more of those Pirate filth even manage to get a drop on me, I'm gonna hold who's closest personally responsible. We need to cover each other better!" he snapped to his men, a hint of anger present in his voice now, more than a little perturbed by the fact that his squad had failed to appropriately cover him... In spite of the fact that they were in a battle for their own lives and seemingly had no time to worry about his well being..

As Wes continued to walk through what could be considered a hell of blaster fire brought on by a group of blue skinned, red eyed pirates, he couldn't help but hope that his superior was having better luck on another part of the vessel and yet somehow?.. He doubted that.. What with the machine gunners position likely being one of the most fortified positions on the ship.. Honestly.. Wes had to wonder.

Why did Morrel get to have all of the fun?.. More importantly.. Why did he think that would be fun?

The stormtroopers with Wes had more to worry about to than the angry outburst of their leader with the contining defiance of their foes. Though they have been wondering why he was put in charge of them in the first place. The Chiss now found themselves boxed into an corner and were running out of ammo but still they fought on though making their shots more careful. Two dropped dead immediately by the steady salvo of the Imperials, but one of the troopers beside Wes got struck in the stomach area, collapsing to the floor and shrieked out in agony as he remained alive for the time being.

At the same time Morrell's group were suffering losses, two of the navy members were killed by a Chiss grenade and another was wounded, shot through the right shoulder. Yet by now within two minutes the pirates who dared to face them at the door were dead. Cristo primed another frag grenade rolled into the hallway of the gun deck. Taking refuge at one of the walls at the opened entrance Cristo heard and felt the small explosive ignite with shrapnel. A few tormented cries followed and Morrell's troops rushed in blasting away at the enemies that were still alive.

Depsite having the upper hand by now, the Imeprials still were locked in fighting enemies that refused to quit, resisiting to the bitter end. Morrell just was completely puzzled. What drive these Chiss who were pirates to fight on even with no hope of success or survival? The only thing that came to mind was the fact he and the stormtroopers never intend to take them prisoner anyway. Surely some would try to surrender, these are pirates after all. He was going on an hunch there was a cause that is motivating them.

All thoughts on that mystery had to wait until the battle is finally over, Cristo told himself More shooting from both sides continue. Cristo Morrell followed his men alongside with Sola the ensign.

Being the son of an Imperial Officer had carried with it certain advantages and disadvantages all throughout his life and it was in this moment that Wes was experiencing a bit of both of them. While it was his fathers wish that his son be groomed to be an officer, perhaps throwing him into a conflict as a Squad Leader had not been the best possible outcome for the well being of the men whom he was left to command, especially considering his overly aggressive style which now left Morrow standing next to a stomach shot Stormtrooper. Frowning momentarily, Wes was admittedly momentarily taken off of his game, a blaster shot whizzing past his head and striking his shoulder plate leading him to immediately take cover.

This was actually starting to become something of a chore more so than a chance to test himself as he knew that the Imperial High Command was -not- going to look highly upon what was transpiring over the course of the mission. With a groan and a hint of annoyance finally escaping him, he motioned to a squad member and then to the wounded Trooper, signaling for him to be drug away while he himself began preparing his missile launcher yet again, intent on ending the conflict once and for all..

Arming the weapon, he would glance to his few fighting forces and ready the weapon, taking a moment to figure out where to aim the weapon initially and upon mentally piecing together the layout of the area, he would move from behind cover, the weapon over his shoulder with it's second and final shot loaded and his finger on the trigger. Squeezing in on it, the sound of the projectile whizzing through the air could be heard and then the explosion rocked the immediate area, remnants of the Chiss forces now either laying dead or wounded upon the ground.

"Finish them off.." he instructed calmly dropping his heavy weaponry to the ground and drawing up his blaster pistols once more.

The pirates in the barracks, were now effectively defeated though some were still alive but barely able to move due to their wounds and down on the floor. One of Wes' troopers, not taking any chances pull out her last grenade and threw to where their enemies laid. It exploded and killed any of survivors in the center of it. Once done, the stormtroopers moved in and shot at the bodies to make sure they were all dead. In the end they only have to kill two wounded Chiss out of seven corpses.

"We're clear squad leader." A female trooper, told Wes after examining the carnage.

At the gun deck, Cristo Morrell's unit had finished off their oppostion. Though the sergeant got himself wounded, shot through the left shoulder during the final charge. Now he was set himself on the wall next to one of the laser turrets, being treated by a medic. His squad was now being lead by Corporal Meeta Nefertari, his second in command who pressed on then eliminated the last bit of resistance. Soon after he got the word from Wes that he acheive his objective, minutes word came that the Chiss frigate and its fighters and boarding transports were finished by the Imperial navy.

Cristo smiled despite the pain and used his right hand to pull off the helmet on his head. Once it's was done, Morrell's grin was more apparent but it was soon burdened by the sight of the multiple of bodies nearby in the hallway, navel crew and Chiss pirates.

Well at least we suceeded. It won't bring back those we lost. not by a kriffin mile but we made it all count in the end.

"Och! Watch it." Morrell grunted to his personal doctor at the moment, private Thom Agar.

"With all due respect sarge this is your own frakking fault for getting shot, I'm just fixing up your mess." The armored medic stated in good humor.

"Heh, good point, carry on then." Cristo Morrell added before he proceeded to close his eyes and tried to rest.
