    • Inquisitor Nok-Krah-Nin, otherwise known simply as Nok, was born to two caring parents on Tiss'sharl, in one of the planet's major centers of manufacturing and trade. The corporation that served as his family's patron wasn't the most wealthy or successful. While they gave Nok's family the basic necessities, there wasn't much more that could provided, which taught Nok from a young age that one must work hard and tirelessly to get what they want. When he reached his teens, Nok began finding odd jobs to supplement his family's income. These tasks ranged from thievery and assault, to extortion and arson, and it was during this time that Nok discovered he had a connection to the Force, which he applied as best he could in his work.. As he got better at such jobs, Nok built up a small network of contacts within the city, and used this network to make his dealings more efficient and effective.

Eventually, he was approached by one of the more prominent companies in the area and hired to take out the representative of a rival corporation's trade partner. Faced with the prospect of a massive pay-out, and having heard the target was just an average human businessman, Nok happily accepted the deal, and went about preparing for the hit. After days of prep work and careful planning, Nok put his plan into action. Stealthily tracking down the man and following through the bustling downtown streets, Nok seized his opportunity when the man rounded a corner into an empty alley. Rushing after him, claws poised for the kill, Nok suddenly found himself slammed into the wall before being lifted off the ground by his throat via an unseen force. Through senses that were slowly beginning to cloud over from lack of air, Nok saw his target calmly standing n the alley facing him, hand outstretched and a previously concealed dark aura uncovered and very apparent.

As his vision began to black out, Nok realized he'd been played, and that the rival company's trade partner was the Sith Brotherhood. Just before he lost consciousness, the telekinetic hold was released and the young Tiss'shar dropped to the ground with a gasp of breath. The Sith had seen potential in Nok, and gave him a choice; follow the man deep into Sith territory for training, or be killed. The choice was obvious for Nok, and soon he found himself among the members of the Brotherhood. Initially starting out as an Acolyte in the Sith order, Nok found their methods to be too direct and violent for his liking. It was then that he learned of the Priesthood of Tund, and intrigued by their more refined approach to matters, he joined their ranks.

After several years of training, he elected to become an Inquisitor, preferring their indirect approach and shadowy tactics over preaching sermons or studying tomes. He was present for the Brotherhood's transition into the new Sith Empire, and stuck with the Priesthood as it was reformed into the Imperial Inquisition, which he continues to serve faithfully.

Early in his career, Nok was present during the clean up of a successful Brotherhood invasion of an Outer Rim world. During this clean up, he happened across an abandoned and shelled out orphanage. Among the rubble, he found a young human girl.
Sensing the fiery spirit within her, Nok took her in and got her back to health. She repaid him by devoting herself to serving the Legion, and on occasion they will still work together.
    • Nok stands at about 1.8 meters when fully upright, though he stoops down to 1.65 meters when hunting a target. His scales are a dark green in color, but as a part of the kal-ar subspecies, Nok has black stripes starting at the base of his jaw and going down to the tip of his tail. Repeated use of and exposure to the dark side has dulled the color of his scales some, and many of them are now black around the edges. His eyes, already naturally amber in color, have turned vibrant gold during his time in the Inquisition.

His frame is lean yet muscular, and he is more than capable of holding his own against most humanoids should the need arise, as his superior strength and sizeable weight (coming in at roughly 771 lbs.) would give even a Trandoshan pause. A single sickle claw on each foot, as well as a mouthful of razor sharp teeth, further add to his intimidating appearance.

      Assets:

      • Equipment Harness
      • Blaster Pistol
      • 4x vibrodaggers, sheathed in pairs on each side of his midsection. Balanced for throwing
      • Crimson-bladed lightsaber
      • Encrypted comlink that can either be handheld or fitted into a specially designed headset.
      • Jet-black hooded cloak
      • Icarus-class Star Yacht, painted matte grey
    • Put simply, Nok has a pragmatic and no-nonsense mentality. Like many of his race, he's a cunning and shrewd individual, preferring to use his intellect in conjunction with the Force to win the day in favor of any sort of direct combat. Partly from his upbringing instilling a strong work ethic in him, and partly due to the training and indoctrination he went through when joining the Priesthood, Nok takes his duties as an Inquisitor very seriously. He took well to the teachings he was trained in, and is devoted to following them, seeing them as a way to better himself.

Having embraced his more predatory instincts, which have been honed and improved to a frightening degree through training and the Force, Nok excels at seeking out information and tracking down the enemies of the Empire. He's mastered the use of telekinesis and it's various applications, as well as the use of Force-enhanced speed and senses. When he does resort to combat, he uses these abilities in tandem with his teeth, claws, and the additional blades he typically carries to quickly bring an end to his foes. However, he prefers to avoid open confrontation, and has become adept at using mind tricks and other mental manipulations to terrify and trick his targets into leaving themselves exposed or giving him what he wants.

With all out war seeming imminent for the Empire, Nok has seen fit to learn the basics of Force Immolate as well, further adding to his tools against the enemies of those he serves.
