DESCRIPTION​

Most Hapan vessels appear odd and usual compared to others, the Hapan Royal Navy's Nova-class Battlecruiser is no different; but like the other Hapan ships they are no less deadly for it. The Hapan Nova-class Battlecrusier is by other navy's standards a light crusier. Like the other mainstays of the Hapan navy, the schematics are old but this vessel gets updates to its design over time as technology advances.

The Nova-class travels swiftly, moving at a speed almost on par with most corvettes. This vessel has a variety of weapons that allow it to engage most targets effectively. The Hapans are known for their powerful ion cannons, and the ion cannons mounted on the wings of this ship aid in tearing through shields, and potentially disable ships if they aren't already destroyed. The medium laser cannon turrets provide valuable support for the battle dragons against starfighters and other smaller craft. It's turbolaser arrays are also sufficiently potent for it's class.

If need be, the ship can also deploy retractable of armor over the bridge, givng the bridge another layer of protection.

These ships are mainly used to support the Hapan Battle Dragons in combat, assisting them in patrolling the Transitory Mists and quickly responding to threats through out the Hapes Cluster. While the Battle Dragons excel at attacking singular capital ships,, the Nova-crusier's verastile armament makes up for the Battle Dragon's weaknesses.

LEGALITY​

Restricted. These ships are proprietary property of the Hapan Navy, in addition to following other laws regarding capital ship use. Unauthorized use or possession of these ships is illegal.

INTENT​

To add the last of the main three Hapes vessels from Legends to our site-canon. And the write-up as-is does deviate from Legends a bit.

RESTRICTIONS​

Nova-class Battlecruisers are large capital ships with heavy weapons, and capital ships cannot be owned or operated by individual characters. They may be acquired as a faction asset with staff oversight.
