🟐 Essential information
Nuovis Rath is a 31-year-old Sephi woman known by the given alias Wrath. She works under the Five Syndicats as a scoundrel, though she has no specific allegiance at the moment. Wrath is roughly 6'10", weighs 180-ish lbs, and has pale tattooed skin and dark, buzzcut hair.
🟐 Biography
Nuovis was born on the Sephi homeworld, Thrusta, but grew up on Ord Mantell. Her parents never explained why they made the move between planets, but Nuovis was too young to care. By the time she was old enough to, her parents were too busy with work to give her a satisfying answer. Something, something anti-monarchy, they told her. She grew up alongside the other poor children on Ord Mantell, getting into trouble with the law and generally causing mischief. On her home streets, the young Nuovis gained a reputation for winning street fights with brutal, unflinching punches. She was almost addicted to the adrenaline rush of fighting to knockout, and probably lost a few brain cells taking knockout punches to the skull.
Once she was old enough to pick up work, Nuovis started with bodyguard work for a bit before moving into the slicer business and other less-physical work. She even dabbled in a bit of bounty hunting. Throughout her youth, she gained a plethora of valuable skills but never spent the time to hone any of them into excellency. Nuovis didn't spend too much time on Ord Mantell after she started getting into more dangerous work, as the money she made from it was enough for her to purchase a ship and head off to find more lucrative work.
As is the nature progression from street rat, Nuovis immediately stumbled into organized crime. Since her last name was phonetically identical to "wrath" and she was icy under pressure, her associates thought calling the Sephi by it was a fun little joke. Nuovis didn't mind, as she quite liked it, and it was fun for her to see the surprise on people's faces when "Wrath" turned out to be a cool-headed, lean Sephi.
Now in her early 30s, Nuovis has settled into her life of organized crime and has begun to look for a more-or-less permanent position within a crime organization.
🟐 Personality
Despite the nickname given to her by her associates, Nuovis is far from wrathful. She has the cool disposition of most Sephi and often seems to be entirely unconcerned with the situation at hand. She works well under pressure due to her nature, but during physical altercations, part of her warms to life. She can be friendly enough with those she knows, but her version of "friendly" doesn't always match up with the expectations of others.
🟐 Skills
Nuovis is a good mix of brain and brawn, but won't wow anyone with either. She fights quickly, punches hard, is an accurate shot, and can slice through most systems if she's got the time. Her most valuable skills, then, are her adaptability and ability to think on her feet. She learns quickly with her hands, and once she gets something right, she'll continue to do so.
