It looks like Obama is turning white like Michael Jackson.

Oh no, a politician being disliked in washington. Especially a a time like this when they're all so popular? Nonsense.

Approval ratings only matter in elections.

There's an election in a little over four months, which is why you - someone who wouldn't want Republicans to win - should care. The lower Obama's approval rating is, the more likely it is that the Republicans win more seats in Congress. If Obama's approval rating continues to drop, then a) he could lose in 2012 (not that it matters, the world ends a month after the election) and b) the Republicans could take the majority.

Sounds to me like there's ample reason someone such as yourself should care.

We should all just turn into uncaring zealots and appoint Sin as president.

I'm aware they both suck, but I'm also aware that if you were to pick your poison, you wouldn't pick the Republicans.

I doubt people will vote republican simply because of Obama. They will most likely vote anti-incumbent because their current congressmen (regardless of party) is probably an incompetent twat.

Though the dems will obviously lose their majority, which shouldn't be a big deal because they did shit with it anyway.

Grrr no mo 2012 references! it's poppycock!

Anyway, obama's administration has done little to nothing hitting his three year mark. i wouldn't be surprised if we (democrats) did lose house and senate seats.

Edit: Why do I fail

Are you a time traveler from the year 2009?

Typically when people vote anti-incumbent, they don't just vote out the guy who's there regardless of party. They vote against the controlling party.
