Botajef was the backbone of the Empire. Jacki wasn't claiming this out of any personal feelings, but rather the lengthy file on its population and the assets it provides to the greater unity of the galaxy. While some might point to the Shipyard infrastructure as the systems true value, turning the steel and slag of mining worlds into workable ships of war, construction, and all other manner of use, the Imperial Agent knew that its true value was in the resource that could not be so easily extracted nor made. Loyalty.
This was a world of the Jefi. Evolution had given them a world of pristine nature, a lack of predators, easily arable land, and very little metal to make tools of war. This combination of factors and their distance from the core led to this world being overlooked and left to its own devices. Those devices created a population that did not splinter or war like many other races in similar primitive circumstances, but rather gave them incentive to stand together as one.
So as they stood together they fell together under the banner of the Empire. Their fall was short-lived however, for by sacrificing the freedom they didn't seem to value, the Empire uplifted these people, taught them how to build hospitals, hover craft, and now the starships that surrounded their world.
Despite having a massive amount of crucial assets in one area of the Old Empire, from what Jacki could tell from the reports there had been little to no espionage in the sector. Almost no terrorism. Not even a whiff of insurrection. Loyalty to a fault to those they perceived could bring them stability and order. Though there lies the fault. Jacki and High Command saw that the Jefi needed to be shown that that Order and Strength had not diminished in the least, especially in this time of Civil War. So it was decided she and another would be dispatched to test the latest batch of ships created in the shipyards here.
Waiting for that other now, Jacki checked her holo-watch. It had been a few minutes since their agreed meeting time, but the Imperial opted on the side of understanding. While the Jefi were a loyal bunch, they weren't exactly inspired architects. Twisting and turning coupled with a lack of signage led to this spaceport being a Labyrinthine horror.
So biding her time in a basic Imperial coat and pants, the agent waited so they could begin the inspection.
