Twilight hung at the sun’s heels as it tempted the horizon. White marble walls reflected its radiance. Standing tall as an ambassador’s manor should. Even the palisade’s which lined its roof added an emphasis of deterring resilience. Five stories of hardened marble and mortar underneath made up its imposing exterior. Prior to the siege, this mansion exuded regality but was now a symbol of military might. Two turrets rested in opposite positions atop the buildings crown. Accompanied by soldiers prepared for war. Bellow, encampments spotted the estate grounds. Some formed barricades while others came equipped with anti-tank rail guns. Defenders all, working harmoniously to in case of assaulting forces.

The interior of the mansion was gaudy and audacious. Much excruciating detail was put in to appease the ambassador’s eccentric requests. Located on the ground floor was an elaborate myriad of hallways which lead to the east wing library and west wing dining hall and kitchen. The second floor was solely dedicated to bedrooms, with a long hallway sweeping around like a perimeter. The top section had grand rooms for study and luxury. Deep within its basement lay a dungeon, not for unwilling slaves, for carnal companionship. Just before the stairway leading inside, rested a lovely collection of wine and spirits. Hidden behind a false wall in this chamber was a tunnel which led deep underground. Here the ambassador rested in lavished comfort. Protected by thick triple reinforced steel.

Sitting in a comfortable leather armchair was a stately man overly dressed for his current predicament. His short hair was swept over to hide an embarrassing bald patch. Square angular features shown unimpeded on a hairless face. “Must I wait much longer? It’s been ages and still no sign of any attackers..” The half empty crystal goblet in his hand twirled a stale brown liquid, trickling down its interior as it rested. Warm light reflecting each drop, showing through in a prismatic array.
From across the room, there stood a grizzled man, his white patchy beard and long hair expressed the countless battles he’d fought in. Through it all no man had quite shaken his resolve like the entitled diplomat before him. Such gull embodied by one so weak brought contempt, not just from him, but the elite he watched over. They all frowned and bit their tongues. In the silent moments that passed it was this statuesque visage that broke out with a simple reply. “Communications with the fleet have been lost. I expect another twelve, fourteen hours at most before all clear.” He placed a warm fatherly hand on a young man’s shoulder whom sat in observation of the monitor before him.
Deepened sighs denoting excruciating boredom stifled the weighty atmosphere. “Only fools would try to infiltrate our embassy, you worry far too much..” Al’Mylokie took a hearty gulp of cogngiace to ease his painful ennui. Now the head strategist Yojow trembled but not for reasons befitting a greenhorn. No, this was animosity burning within.

Above the estate, a lone vessel hovered hundreds of feet. Like a black bird far above unwitting heads.. “Sorry sir, can’t get any closer..” From behind came a tall youthful man whom patted the pilots helmet. ”I’m good to go! Just head back to base.” Those words took moments to register as such a distance would be suicidal even with a parachute. The pilot stumbled over his speech trying to get out a “what” or “are you insane?”, before those phonemes could pass his lips, Uwaamu had already masked himself and jumped from the open door.

Wind rushed passed at a deafening rate. The small square outline of the mansions roof grew larger as Uwaamu rocketed onwards. Green foliage of an enticing rooftop garden began to take shape. Bringing with it a resounding peace and tranquility. One he often felt before the storm. When the world ceased to exist in hopeful shades and turned chromatic and bloodied. Where once a man now becomes something twisted and warped. Silencing all around him to focus on one singular task. Killing for pleasure. It was then he closed his eyes, opening them again to a reveal a black and white world void of color. Only a few guards protected this area, seven, not counting those whom maned the turrets. Two armed soldiers stood together marveling at what sight they beheld. Pondering whether a young chick had began free fall. Though it seemed ill fated, Uwaamu prepared to save himself and vanquish two foes as he did. Holding his hands out in front, palms open, he summoned the force. Coiling tendrils engulfed each arm. Just before landing, he released it in furious uncontrollable waves which shot out in all directions. The two guards launched backwards, flung helplessly aside, falling to their demise as they swung off the edge. Uwaamu landed by flipping himself onto feet with an almost disregard for gravity.

Blaster fire tore through bark, burning leaves and hitting Uwaamu but just barely. The charred flesh from the grazing shot numbed quickly; aided by copious overflow of adrenaline. Raging boiling blood beckoned him to seek pleasurable release in silencing these individuals. Uwaamu understood these soldiers were shooting blindly so instead of running half-hazardously he pressed his body low. Wood chipped and burnt away as round after round fired indiscriminately. Eventually it died down completely. The sound of ripping fiber filled silence and, just as the tree from which it originated fell, Uwaamu shifted himself. Springing his legs into his chest. Pushing with a mixture of strength and force. He lifted into the air, flipping over segmented planters. His open palm equipped the previously holstered saber. Then swinging it from his left shoulder to the right, decapitating its intended target. Standing on each side of him were four guard; one on the right, three to his left. With a sudden upsetting appearance, it stunned them for a moment before they eventually realized their emptied clips.

Uwaamu lunged to his left, grabbing the closest soldiers weapon by the barrel. Sweeping upwards from his left thigh to sever the man’s arm. Harrowing screams fell on deaf ears as Uwaamu pressed forward. He spun with a simple foot under foot maneuver, slamming the blaster rifle against the farthest man’s face. He then released his left hands grip to twist slightly; angling the saber parallel with the ground. Then shoving it under his left armpit. Skewering the third soldier and leaving his saber to rest. Whilst this happened, a lone trooper hastily began reloading his weapon. With a delightful pop and hiss, the old cartridge fell. However, just as it was replaced, Uwaamu grabbed the man he had previously battered with a rifle. Aided by force enhancement, his muscles tightened as hands gripped shoulders. Pulling with excessive strength, tossing him at the lonely marksman whom looked up just in time to catch a glimpse before being knocked down.

Static hissed through a communicator. “Report!” Came a strong voice from beyond it. “Confirm status. Over.” Uwaamu dragged his saber across the ground, bisecting the individuals which lay before him. Stopping just as he arrived to the mass of two soldiers laying upon the ground. ”Tell them everything’s okay, you got startled by a duck or something.” To emphasize his demands, the beating red length of the saber hung just inches from the soldiers neck. Moments passed, more than what should normally before a response. Uwaamu eyed the young man whom was not much older then himself. Probably having enlisted recently. The choice was hard but with little resolve bringing resistance it came easily enough. He brought the small com unit to his face and proceeded to betray his comrades. “This is Factor-Sidney-Factor reporting. Got some hot-heads with itchy fingers out here. Some bird got the best of us. Over.” Whomever was on the other end responded quickly. “Understood but I’ll be reporting this to team leader after shift change. Stay frosty. Over and out.” Uwaamu and the man before him looked at one another. One emotionless, the other angry and disgusted. To thank the soldier, Uwaamu graciously took his swords length away. Then, without notice, slammed its hilt into the soldiers right temple. Knocking him unconscious. He then dug the blade into the living mass which rested on the boys body, killing only the other soldier.

Taris was too bright. Too busy. Too bustling.

Kai Malloc sought out the deep and the shadows as always, down the many stairs and winding paths to the world’s lower levels. Their enemy was a weakling robed in finery, ensconced in a house of marble. A representative of the heathen Republica that had turned from the true way. The way of power. Of strength. Of the Rule of the Strong.

In the deep mines of Kessel, Kai had known only the will of the Fire. The Fire had spoken to him in his dreams, chosen him to be its herald and raised him up from his enslavement. For the Fire had taught him the true meaning of servitude, giving him a master of true power and blazing glory to behold.

The Old Empire understood the will of the Fire. They did not call it that, for they had their own words. But words were not important Kai. The Emperor Vrael had proven his own power to all of the true Empire; the Fire had chosen him too. There could be no doubt.

Kai was a lesser herald, his powers diminished since leaving the mines. But he remained a true servant, his remaining gifts and Old Empire training making him dangerous still. He would end the weakling heathens and prove himself worthy of Fire’s service.

He ran his grey skinned hands along the walls as he stalked through the alleys, long sharp nails scraping on the metal. Kai had an affinity for the deep and the solid, for seeing in his mind the size and shape of the world around. He followed his instincts close to the embassy district, forcing his way into the cellar of a neighbouring repository.

The room was pitch black and stocked with fine goods. Kai ignored them all, stalking between the piled crates towards the back wall. His horns caught on a low hanging light, tearing it from the ceiling without breaking his stride.

He reached the back of the room; the dividing wall between the repository and the neighbouring embassy. Tearing off the steel plating with strong hands, Kai revealed old stones beneath. For this part of Taris was older than most; the marble embassy beyond stretching back decades.

Everything new is built on the Old...” he hissed eagerly, his voice deep and rasping.

Stepping back, Kai marshalled his dark powers and leapt towards the aging wall, horned head angled low. Barrelling through in a blast of masonry and fury, he found himself in the dungeon of the embassy.

The demon below.

Deepened sorrows of lost souls hung horrifyingly in stagnant abyss. Chaos formed from upheaving triumph. Lackluster chatter emanated from bloodied communicators. Laying still with their equally lifeless counterparts. Revelry of a murderous kind muddied the air in putrid gasps of satisfaction. Originating from a mislead combatant whom stood above the damnable scene. Mocking his prey with gruesome smirks and chortled chuckles. Crashing waves of chemical euphoric stimulation tickled and numbed this masked figure. Engrained were these rewards. Burdened on he whom was trained to find joy in death. Still regret hung in the background. Whispering sweetly for continuation. Begging the acolyte with caressing fondness. Teasing and tugging his shaking hand to swiftly make mince-meat of the last remaining soldier. However, there would be no fun in it. Just wonton glutinous consumption of life. Nothing strange to him but still undesirable all the same. Voices rang in his ear, ones he knew but could put no face to, softly saying in harsh paternal tones “Do not turn your back on an enemy.” True was this unfounded resolve for simply a man such as this could return for retribution. Such an ideology most morally right individuals harbor. Ending one more was a conundrum that could not be escaped. Regretfully, and willingly, Uwaamu stifled himself. Removing notion of betrayal. This young man, whom lay unconscious, deserved to be honored. Though he was one without it. Little could be gathered to wether one day such a soldier could grow. Uwaamu himself bargained it’s truth. For what governs him is not just honor and freewill but the rule of the strong.

Hastily he composed himself. Animalistic rage weighed itself well on scale with direct conflict but unfortunately, for this warrior, this mission bid restraint. Uwaamu took time to asses his predicament. Should he choose a direct path of infiltration, it was almost guaranteed to induce unnecessary conflict. Though using a communicator from a dead soldier could help him navigate through the embassy. Allowing preemptive thought. Regardless of what was decided, he grabbed the nearest com unit. Another idea which passed briefly was one of disguise which could be useful. Permitting him to pass without a second glance. However, he’d have to discard his clothes and return for them later. Without knowing any call signs or phrases his cover could be exposed. With a deep and burdened sigh, Uwaamu shortly wished to have joined Kai underground. Sneaking through darkness. Then, a sound came to the forefront. Whirring from an air conditioning unit. Beckoning him to reconsider alternative means. If the ventilation shafts were large enough to fit a man, Uwaamu could sneak his way through. Finding where they monitor the mansion and discovering the ambassadors location.

The machine which hummed tranquilly was hidden behind tall lengthy grass. Pushed aside, it was a small area but still bore ground to walk upon. Uwaamu looked inside to see which direction the shaft angled. He then carefully began to segment a section of stone. Angling his blade at a degree which would allow him to reseal the entrance and allow entrance. The hot molten marble gave way and as the perfectly cut rectangle finished cutting, the area sank an inch to compensate. Uwaamu lifted it to reveal its interior. He could in-fact fit, snuggly but enough to breath and reposition, need be. Uwaamu slipped inside, replacing the opening as he did.

Sythe moved silently along the rooftop of the Ambassador's headquarters. Two guards already lay dead behind him, their laziness in patrolling the area just led to their demise.
He made his way toward the doorway that would lead inside the building. As he did, he kept his eyes attuned to any security cameras or sensors that would give away his coming.
He had been trained to avoid such things, so it wasn't hard to bypass them altogether. As he reached the doorway, he sliced the controls, unlocked the door, and slipped inside.

Once inside, he found a vent shaft and used that to make his way further into the building. The Ambassador's chambers were located protectively in the bottom of the base, which made Sythe's path a bit more difficult, but if he could find a turbo-lift shaft.. then it would be smooth sailing down to the appropriate level.

As he moved, he got an idea. He made a slight adjustment in his plan and decided to find the security room first.

Alastair had arrived with Sythe, the mission was more one of his assassin friend's speed than his own but when Sythe asked him for backup he was pleased to oblige.

Dropping in from a height that was beyond the ability of the guards to see, even if they were expecting an assault from the air, had been a treat that he often did not get. The rush of the wind and the fall was exciting, as was the moment of landing. Creating almost a cushion with the force at the last moment to defy death itself.

Moving in like a shadow in the night, the Vahla sorcerer made it in through a window that had been left open. Chuckling to himself softly. What he needed to find was a lift down to where the target was hiding. Knowing Sythe would be looking for the security room, Alastair decided that he would endeavor to find it as well and hopefully meet up with his partner in death.

Sythe crawled through the vent shaft and eventually made it to the security room.
From the grate he could see the two guards assigned to watch the security screens... they looked bored out of their minds.

Sythe smiled to himself. It was exactly how he wanted to find the guards. At ease and not paying attention.
If they were alert and doing their jobs, the Sith would’ve had a bit more difficult time in killing them quickly and more importantly... silently.
But in their present state... It should work out just fine.

He reached out with the force and slowly choked one of the guards to death while he was napping... stealing his breath away while the other guard had no clue what was going on was especially pleasing to Sythe.
After the one was dead, Sythe slipped the force around his throat and quickly used it to break the guards neck.

After that he slipped out of the grate and pushed both bodies into the corner, away from the console.

He sent out a message to Alastair, whom he knew would be there soon. Security room. Your expertise is needed.

Alastair chuckled to himself at Sythe's declaration. He used his friend's communication to find his own way through the vents into the security room. "These people really do need to guard their ventilation system better." he chuckled as he sat down at the console, pulling one of the dead guards' keycards to his hand as he did so.

Inserting the card he typed away, using what knowledge he had of computers -not a whole lot, but he got by- to gain access. As he tried to get into the system suddenly an alert appeared on the screen about it being about to lock out the console. Alastair frantically tried everything he could think of until at the last second he thought to pull the other guard's card to his hand and put it into the other reader. The alert disappeared and he was granted access.

"That was close." he sighed. Taking a moment before disabling the security system, and getting the location of the bunker while doing it. "Remind me to learn how to slice sometime." he chuckled as the map of the whole building displayed on the screen.

Sythe shook his head. Alastair nearly screwed the whole thing up with just a flip of a button. "You suck at this stuff."

Figuring he needed to do something else other than kicking his partner for almost ruining the mission... He scanned the cameras and found the guard's quarters.
Most of the guards were in the room taking their breaks and lounging around. Sythe reached over Alastair's arm and flipped the switch that locked the guards in the room, and shut off their communications to the outside. That should make their progress to the Ambassador a bit easier and make it so they only have to face a few guards, instead of the whole lot.

He went to the door and opened it.
"You coming?"

Alastair chuckled at Sythe's jab, the man was blunt but spoke the truth. "Indeed I do." he said with a grin. "But, let's focus on the fact that I got us in." he added wryly as Sythe went through the cameras and locked all the guards into their rooms.

"Yes yes, I'm coming." he said as Sythe opened the door. The last thing he did was unlock the door to the hidden bunker they were about to breach and then he followed his assassin friend out of the room.

Moving through the base was relatively easier with all the guards locked in their bunkroom. But Sythe still moved like a cat ready to spring. His left hand held a throwing star, just in case they ran in to any stragglers...

Once at the turbo-lift, he hit the button to call the lift so they could go down to where the Ambassador would be.
He looked at Alastair. "When we get there, I'll take the right, you go left."

As the lift came to a stop, the doors opened into a large and very posh room. There were couches facing each other in the middle of the room so the ambassador could entertain meetings, and a bar at the far right corner. At the back wall, was centered a large mahogany desk with a rather large man sitting behind it. Ambassador Al’Mylokie looked up from something he was reading and gasped when he saw the two Sith. "Guards!" was all he could get out before Sythe sent a throwing star at him... His eyes went wide as the star hit its mark. The Ambassador slumped back dead with a throwing star sticking out of his forehead.

Four armed guards instantly rushed at the Sith… All had blaster pistols and all were pointed at the two assailants...

Alastair didn't even bother drawing his sword as the two of them basically just strolled through the halls, none of the guards even knew they were locked in.

At the turnolift he simply nodded in agreement to Sythe's plan, he didn't much care what direction he went so long as they killed their mark.

Eventually they made it to the bunker, Alastair drew his lightsaber as they entered the room. A smart move evidently because almodt immediately four guards rushed at them with blasters drawn.

As the first guard fired the crimson blade snapped to life, reflecting the bolt into a second guard's head before the quillons had even activated a second later. As the guard readied to fire again Alastair grabbed him around the throat with the force and pulled him in between himself and the renaining two guards, absorbing the shots that they fired with their friend and killing the first guard in the same moment. Keeping the corpse in between himself and the other guards -who were now so dhocked at killing their comrade they didn't seem to know what to do- the Vahla Sorcerer closed the distance, trowing the body away at the last moment and brining his saber around in a wide and savage slash that bisected both remaining guards in one motion.

He kept his saber active, but down at his hip and smirked. His left hand moved in an "after you" gesture to his comrade towards the ambassador. While Sythe dealt with the man Alastair would simply watch and make sure no trouble came their way.

Sythe just shook his head. Alastair had effectively taken out all the guards which left none for him to kill. "Show-off."

It wasn't that he was even remotely upset, nor could he deny the effectiveness of his friend's prowess during the fight. It was just he wanted to kill more than just the Ambassador...
But no matter. The job they had come to do was pretty much done. He walked over to the Ambassador, took his saber out and cut off the dead man's bloated head for proof to his superiors that it was done.
He also stuck a datachip into the Ambassador's personal computer and downloaded all the files into the datachip. Upon further inspection, he noticed a switch that opened a secret back door to the right of the ambassador's desk. The Ambassador probably used it for coming and going without having to traverse through the entire base.

Sticking the head into a bag he looked at Alastair. "We are done here. Let's go." Using the "back door" they went down a long corridor that led to a small hangar. Inside was the Ambassador's own private ship. Sythe grinned.

Using the codes from the Ambassador's computer, they were able to easily get into the ship... and use it to get off-planet.

The mission was complete. It was time to go report in.
