It had rather serious marks on it. I might think different if red wasn't everywhere.

I know...that's what makes it believable, but still....could you imagine the poor teacher that received this? lol

I would have stopped grading it and pulled the boy aside to talk to him the next day...lol.

I would have been laughing my ass off personally, compliment him on making me laugh, and fail him.

Funny don't cut it. I'm amazed he got a 61...

It's not real because the red ink made spelling errors.

Teacher make spelling errors. I've seen some teachers with HORRIBLE spelling. My anthropology teacher once misspelled anthropology.

My college profesor and I once had a debate whether it was katanna or katana. I won a hostess cupcake and a coke after that argument.

English and history teachers don't, unless they're not good at their profession.

EDIT: Especially on words like "to" when they should have used "too".

It's not like teachers make pre-writes/rough drafts/edit/second edit/third edit/final draft when it comes to grading papers. Besides you try grading hundreds of papers without making a few errors.

Repetition only makes you better, but OK. The way people learn must be fundamentally incorrect. I've never met a teacher who didn't know the proper use of any of the "there"s or "to"s.

I've had to go over papers in the wee hours of the night for Newspaper, it's not fucking fun and even the most tuned person in English makes mistakes just to get it done. I've gotten back essays with things that didn't even look like words, just scribbles.

In your opinion. I think I learned more about literature and English itself better than any other class I've had. Being a grammar nazi doesn't make you a good teacher, it's how you teach that defines it.

If you teach grammar (which you do in English class...), then you shouldn't be making grammatic mistakes in your corrections of a student's work. So, being a grammar nazi in this case would signify a good enough teacher for the job.

But you are right, it's really how you teach, but you have to at least teach the right thing to start off with, lol

Anyway, I think it's a fake, albeit a funny one.
