Ordalos Villa || Indupar, Mid Rim

It had taken some time to arrange this meeting. No thanks to Nor'baal, no less.

The slimy slug had lied to the Consortium while he was their Governor of Kessel. Now the Hutt Cartel had lost its key supplier of spice and it was up to Mordeth to rectify it and and spurn her rival, if she could. The Hutt daimyo rarely took meetings away from her businesses on Ord Mantell and Mon Cala. She preferred it when engaging with potential business partners on her own turf, but when she had received the signal that her request for a meeting was granted at the Ordalos Estate on Indupar, she decided to make an exception.

The villa was beautiful. On Hutta, Hutts of consequence were given the rights to build their own castles. But it was Hutta. The best view there was a swamp. If you were lucky as a Hutt, you got a palace with a nice view of a junkyard. Everything on Indupar was lush and green, and the villa sat amidst folding rivers and waterfalls. She had to remind herself to by herself something like it one day, when she wasn't running from one corner of the galaxy to the next meeting important potential clients.

«Sonpa che baplamka mah cah bai manpanh, Masonka Ordalos,» Mordeth said when she was allowed inside. She had come unarmed in the spirit of hoping to have a peaceful negotiation. «Che Yih, fa doth pikee bai hhoph wa kotky bai wa sanog che twa lotkoca. Jee gee koose uba tah du heee bauparai.»

She produced a small vial of men's perfume sat neatly within the folds of an opulent pillow. «Dobra bace see abaha. Tah bo ah bankepie dhiuox'a. Jemsin, woy doi wa phatpola du Mon Cala baa alaon. Ree bankepie lee chalya bu tam hhosaba. Jee dotmay kuna kee boonowa juju bahaca peee ji muna peee Jee gee.» @Altaris

It was with no lack of reluctant that Galek agreed to meet with Mordeth. The Induparan prince had little patience for dealings with the Hutts, and the actions of her fellow Hutt were no small part of that sentiment.

Since Nor’baal’s exposure and subsequent departure from Kessel, the Induparan prince had spent an increasing amount of time dealing with the PR fallout of the entire situation that came with his exposure as a crime lord. Even more of his time working to meticulously root out whatever assets the Hutt Lorda had on the planet, working to bring it firmly under ISC control and cut off any lingering Hutt influence over its infamous spice mines.

Nevertheless, after some time mulling it over, Galek eventually agreed to the requested audience. Despite whatever sterling reputation he cultivated for the Galaxy, he was far from a model citizen. If the terms were right and the proposal was profitable enough to warrant his attention he was not above cutting deals behind the scenes. It was entirely up to Mordeth to meet that criteria.

Naturally, Galek had agreed to meet Mordeth entirely on his terms. She was summoned directly to his private villa in the Induparan countryside - nestled amongst the snaking rivers and raging waterfalls that his planet was infamous for. It was a meeting on his own territory, and scenic beauty aside, the venue was importantly located far away from the hustle and bustle of Dahonis City, and far away from the prying eyes of the media.

Galek had no desire for this little chit-chat to garner any media attention. Whatever story the Hutt tried to spin to the public, the Induparan prince was no stranger to the rumors that existed about his potential business partner.

He stood within the spacious audience chamber of his villa, hands folded neatly behind his back. His black hair was styled and quiffed perfectly into place, and the air around his person was heavily scented with spicy, exotic perfume. As per usual, Galek donned his finest attire for the meeting - wearing a cream-and-gold colored sherwani, alongside a gold-trimmed dupatta that draped along one shoulder. His ensemble was accessorized with an assortment of gaudy rings on his fingers, couple with an heirloom brooch pinned across his breast.

After a few minutes of waiting, Galek watched as Mordeth strode, or rather, slid into view - hazel eyes immediately fixating onto the approaching Daimyo. The moment she spoke, Galek offered the Hutt a charming smile - dipping his head towards her. "Bengahena Mordeth," He spoke, his singsong voice pleasant and courteous as ever. "Haku wa puohe cuova - chobaso bai Kanbimoy. Jee woy dotmay kuna kee boonowa mee bidkana wata bashodue." He spoke in fluent Huttese, not bothering to make use of the protocol droid that lingered a few feet away. He would converse with the Hutt in whatever language she so wished.

He didn’t miss that the Hutt had come both unguarded and unarmed, and it prompted the prince to wave a hand towards his own nearby bodyguards. One by one, they filtered out of the room - leaving only himself, Mordeth and a protocol droid left in the chamber. He had no desires for this to be anything but a peaceful negotiation, and even if it wasn’t, a single word and those same guards would rush back into the room.

Galek’s eyes fell upon the gift that Mordeth had brought, reaching out to accept the vial of men’s perfume. He didn’t immediately rule out the possibility of it being poison, but also didn’t believe it to be entirely likely, either. "Uba doth cuee dan, kee bengahena." He said with a charming smile, rubbing his thumb across the bottle before politely handing it off to one of his droid servants to properly stash. " Hee bankepie an waajo abaha, an hee ji muna bahaca. Jee hatkocanh baca vee boya see fa."

The Induparan prince waved a hand. Within moments, a protocol droid emerged from the side of the room - both of its arms extended out to cradle an opulent, silk pillow. "Jeejee wata dah Kanbimoy bom bom doth bace see chayanh sanog bai tee lotka- wa besna see tee dan hatkocanh, an sayey bai piukiha wa whipkamahke cohanlala."

With that, the silk pillow was presented to Mordeth. Sat atop the smooth fabric was an ornate, opulence dagger of Induparan style - laid down beside the scabbard it was typically housed within. It’s hilt was carved of solid ivory with indicate aurodium inlay, forming floral designs along the grip. It’s blade was curved and damascend in gold, with Induparan inscriptions that flowed across the metal. The scabbard in which it was housed was molded of solid aurodium, studded with a multiple of precious gemstones.

"Wa hhobela rulya wata dah Kanbimoy, an wahza cay paupe dee tozei kakeetkaee du Dahonis Bohw. Jee dotmay da fa hatkocanh woy wa luto bauban bai mee pauapka."

Once the dagger was accepted or not, Galek gave a wave of his hand - gesturing for Mordeth to follow him towards the center of the room. There was a comfortable seating area which had been established for their meeting, and no lack of delicacies to keep them fed over the course of their discussion.

"Ateema hee," He said, taking a seat. "Bai haku woy Jee wamma tah manpanh?"

Mordeth took the dagger and examining it momentarily outside its sheath. The weapon was exquisite in every way. Though it was but a toothpick compared to her, she cared not for the size of the thing, but the symbolism behind it. Its worth. This knife would make a fine addition to the collection she kept back on her yacht. She sheathed it and tucked it away, bowing as graciously as a Hutt could. «Uba woy mi wa lhonu yanay. Tah ah ji muna canohba. Jee lwaa jiu koi fa peee wa besna see bacepala cay mee Pantahlea an cay Kanbimoy.»

Then it was to business. The enormous Hutt scooted into a seat across from Governor Ordalos. It was clear the prince had prepared ahead of time for her arrival. It was virtually night and day from her last meeting with a Senator of the Galactic Senate. This felt more like diplomacy. Of course, there was still the two ton Hutt in the room. Nor'baal's betrayal. Mordeth had no love for Nor'baal and was prepared to express it. But she wasn't entirely certain mutual hatred of Nor'baal was going to win her any favors here. At least, not on its own.

«Bai yanee hee,» the Hutt began. «Che gankgoy, Myauah gee doth bu vap jeiahonka see ryll bai bu yoskah. Wa waajo kenola cay mee bleanle an kabelen catabola. Fa doth banpop wa bauh babelkem bmela. Cuee hee ai bu bmela bidwata dah Pattee.» Here, she fanned herself, considering her next words carefully. «Jee noa-a nananke. Cheesba kouwahe pacahla see ryll kankay bu Pantahlea an mah ahsonepa dah Ahu konkaui.»

«Dobra hatkocanh bai sinsa Hahe'uaa doi bu jaa pacinicoy dah Myauah an wamma hoohah dai bai yae bu bidwata. Bu Pantahlea hatkocanh yoieu bu cuaee lhonbe hhonoo dee ryll bidwata che boya du kabelen hapnauasa mo pee bagn baua fa canta bakopa. Jee hatkocanh paknee ata wa koushonbe luekeua dee chabipkola chabipkola bai dwana dah Yih nanbaga.» Now, it was time to mention the great elephant in the room. «Dobra, see pacmhanaduee, bla da uba doth tam cahweba cay wa kacdy dee Yih Lanka. Jee gahkesa uba, Dobra tee bace see Nor'baal. An Cheesba yauma mee Pantahlea cay juju dotmuaha. Cuee, Meecooda sanuba goo nah neu bo bapn dee bmela chabipkola dah Myauah.»

She could offer the Consortium much. Of course, they would want to hold Nor'baal accountable for breaking their laws. But they were also locked in warfare with some of the Syndicates. There was value in having a Syndicate ally, especially one on the Hutt Ruling Council. Access to information on Syndicate movements, data on the territories of major crime organizations, access to her budding spy network stationed in other parts of the galaxy. But she kept all of this to herself for now. It was unwise to put all your chips on the table when negotiating. Especially when they could be used to sweeten the deal down the road. More importantly, there was no need to give away everything if you didn't have to. For now, she was interested in what he had to say about what she had already suggested and offered.

«Tah see pacmhanaduee doth ata wa dopeha,» she continued, sipping idly at a drink that had been provided her. «Um Dobra bleoe haku uba canta see tah chamana.» @Altaris
