I'm definitely anti-CU, but I can't be too anti-Mizzou...my roommate is a Tiger fan, sadly. But Va Tech will lose on Saturday!

Another weekend of College football passed by...didn't pay too much attention, I was more worried about my White Sox at the moment.
But the Husker Game wasn't worth the watch until the end. Unfortunately if they play like they did this weekend I have the feeling that we will lose big time to Mizzou, but staying on the brightside, I think we can win it, it'll be close if the Huskers do.
@Legault: Nice to meet another husker fan : D Bo has a nice anger issue doesn't he? lol
But what got me to smile this weekend was USC losing to Oregon State. rofls.

I heard the line is Mizzou by 11, but a lot of people have said Mizzou by 3 or less, and some have said Nebraska can win it if they play a near perfect game.
Bo does need a few classes I think. But that's what got our defense fired up this year. I'd rather have a guy with a temper who knows how to coach defense.
I loved that USC game! For the second year in a row, they have "the greatest team ever assembled," and for the second year in a row, they drop one to an unranked team. Stuff that in your pipe and smoke it, TJ Simers!

Mizzou killed the Huskers this weekend. What was even worse it was a home game.

And I think Daniel is lying. I'm sure if such thing would have happened he would of said something sooner. But owell. Glad Pelini is going to look into it.

I had to change my mind about wins and losses. I thought we could get 10. Now I think 7, possibly 8. We'll get killed by Texas Tech and OU. We should take Iowa State, Baylor, and Kansas State. I think we play with KU, and we could possibly win, since it's in Lincoln, and they had a scare with Iowa State this weekend. Still, regardless, I think we go bowling, and Pelini can breathe easy about his job security. Actually, a neat factoid. Both Devany and Osborne lost their first home game against Mizzou, and look what happened with them.
As for the spitting...first, why doesn't Daniel just say who it was so Pelini can discipline that player? Second, why not talk to Pinkel instead of going straight to ESPN?

I wasn't expecting an overwhelming victories this season, if we're lucky we'll go 8-4, but otherwise I think we're on the path to 7-5. I'm not worried though. Plus keep in mind, we are still playing with Callahan's pick >,<
My boyfriend and his cousin know Dave Weber, and he said Daniel's is lying also. It makes no sense. He probably said it because the win inflated Mizzou's ego. I hate Mizzou. They remind me much of Colorado.

I agree. Mizzou has an inflated ego; I know, my roommate's a Mizzou fan. This is a season of firsts for them, but ti's also a season of lasts, and they won't get the two firsts they really want: the Big 12 title, and the National Championship. They'll play OU for the Big 12, and OU is way too good. Mizzou won't face a decent pass defense until they play OU. And then they'll lose to whatever team they play in a BCS Bowl, because that team will have good pass defense as well. And you can't win by only getting 160 rushing yards a game.

It's very appropriate. We're on the road against the 7th ranked team in the nation, and come back from 24-10 in the 4th quarter to tie the game 31-31 and send it into overtime. Then Texas Tech scores a touchdown but missed the extra point, and then on Nebraska's turn, where we just need a touchdown and then kick the extra point to win, and our QB throws his only interception of the game instead of taking a sack. So, we lose 37-31 against a highly ranked opponent, and go 3-3. It was a tough loss to swallow. But, we were supposed to lose by 28 or something, so we kept it respectable. It still sucks, though. And for the third straight week, officiating sucked royally.
Oh, we'll take CU, for sure, especially since it's here in Lincoln. After that game with Tech, we showed that we can play with and beat any team in the nation, except perhaps those in the top 5. And that's great for a team like Nebraska, with a new head coach. We'll win the next two, lose to OU in Norman, then go on a three-game win streak to round out the year, and probably end up in the Holiday or Alamo Bowl. I just love how all the CU fans here at my college laugh at Nebraska's 3-3 record. We'd be 5-1 if we had decent officiating. Phantom unnecessary roughness against Va. Tech and phantom holding at Texas Tech kept us from a game-winning score. CU lost it's last two games by 3 scores each. Their quality of schedule is in the toilet, too. We'll beat the crap out of them to end the regular season. And Mizzou will get manhandled by Texas this weekend, and I'll be watching it in 42 inches of high definition.:CHappy:
Well, it's not just you. I think the pageantry and passion makes college football so much more fun than the NFL. The NFL is a business. College is just people playing because they love the game and/or they get to go to college for free.
